It was a honor

This house was perfect for two couples. Great space and location. It was an honor to stay here as the owner and their dad are part of history - world famous free divers. This made the house extra special.

Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped apartment in lovely old characterful building.

The apartment is in a good central location on Ortigia. The owners are very friendly and the welcome gifts of wine from the family vineyard and Sicilian food were much appreciated. We enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace. The apartment felt like a family home rather than a holiday rental and it was interesting finding out about Enzo Maiorca. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A wonderful apartment in a perfect location. The rooftop garden was perfect.

A very spacious apartment which was extremely well equipped. A quiet location with sea views. The roof terrace was large and had shade when needed. A perfect stay.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 5 Personen, waren vom 1. bis 11. Oktober in Ortigia. Patrizia und Alessandro haben uns mehr als freundlich empfangen: Obstkorb angereichert mit Spezialitäten aus der Region sowie Rotwein aus biologischem Anbau... Die Wohnung auf zwei Ebenen in einem palazzoähnlichen historischen Gebäude lässt nichts vermissen. Die Küche mit Spülmaschine ist allerbestens ausgestattet angefangen von Kaffee- und Espressomaschine mit Kapseln, toller Kühl-Gefrierkombination, fünfflammigem Herd und Geschirr mit guten Töpfen und Pfannen sowie Waschmaschine. Überall angenehme Marmorböden, tolle Aufenthaltsräume wunderbar eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Dachterrasse ist einfach umwerfend mit Blick aufs Meer und die Dächer der historischen Altstadt. Durch die zentrale Lage geht man zu Fuß nur wenige Meter zum Meer, den nächsten Restaurants und Läden. Wir werden den kalten Winter hier in Deutschland vom intensiven Erlebnis in Ortigia und im Casa Maiorca zehren. Wir alle können die Wohnung zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Great apartment and great hosts!

The apartment is spacious and well furnished and Patrizia and her family were very welcoming hosts! The sun terrace is lovely, and the air conditioning worked perfectly in 2 hot weeks in August. Ortigia is a wonderful place to explore with great places to eat and drink, a great cultural gem. Beach in Ortigia is very small but there are some great beaches 30 - 40 minutes away - by bus or car! Thanks for a great 2 weeks - Ross, Susie & Family!

A very fine and large apartment were the owner had taken care of everything for us. We enjoyed spacious apartment and the large roof terrace and the swimming bath 5 minutes work away – and of course Ortigia.

La casa è molto bella e molto curata! ha una splendida posizione e si può godere della vista del mare dalla stanza da letto e dal terrazzo. La proprietaria è stata gentile e accogliente. Noi andiamo tutti gli anni ad Ortigia e questa è stata senza dubbio la migliore sistemazione.
