Dreamy lakefront modern home newly renovated on the open water of Cedar Creek Lake located just 55 min from uptown Dallas. A Panoramic unobstructed open water view from the kitchen and living, master bedroom, and 2nd bedroom. The Kitchen area has quartz countertops, 4k flat screen in the living area great for entertaining. Or just a weekend retreat. This lakehouse is within 6 minutes there is a 5 star diner just 10 min away plus Starbucks, Chillies, Vernon's On the Lake, and many other great Restaurants. Plus Shopping Walmart, Brookshires. Entertainment; Home Town Theaters, Bowling, and Whatz Up Kid's entertainment park. P.S. some reviews may refer to amenities on the previous rental property, but the same owners' meticulous care. 2 Kayaks available on the property. Close to main st a little lively at times however convenient location very comfortable beds with a vibe that will stay in your family’ and friends memories.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is right on the lake and the view is beautiful. The house is near the highway, but you didn't hear the highway noise inside the house. It wasn't distracting outside the house. House was easy to get to.

Very clean property on open water!

We enjoyed staying here! Very clean interior and the most comfortable beds ever!! Loved the mat we could put in the water to float on. Just needs a couple more pots and pans…. Jerry was great though and easy to work with!

We had the best time staying here. It was our third time booking with Jerry and we had zero issues. We caught plenty of fish off the dock which was great with the kids. Everything worked perfect. Jerry is always easy to get ahold of if you have a question. It was a memorable trip with friends and family. We will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was very clean and comfy! The dock is great for fishing and they have good floats to chill in the water. Jerry was an amazing host and answered all of the questions we had about the area. Will definitely be staying here again! Thank you so much!

This was a great experience. The sunrises crazy. The sunsets were wonderful, the fishing. It was on point. The house was super clean. I'm very comfortable house owner. Was very Great and responsive for everything or anything, we needed will definitely stay again

Nice Getaway

Nice home! The dock was a nice feature. We have teenage boys and they spent most of their time fishing off the dock. I’d recommend bringing a boat or renting one for the week. We rented one for a day, but regretted not having one all week. The owner, Jerry, is great and was very helpful with check-in and knowledgeable about the area.

Great stay at the lake house

Beautiful and peaceful setting right on the lake. Great sunrise view from your back porch. The house is clean and has everything you need to make your visit comfortable and relaxing. We rented a pontoon from the marina nearby and had a blast.

How i wish we stayed longer.. we caught lots of fish we also miss one huge one almost 15lb fish 🙁 fishing rod / hook snapped but was a good experience my kids enjoyed fishing..view was so serene during sunset and sunrise 😍 . Definitely recommend this place ..

We had a great time at Jerry’s. House was cute and cozy and newly remodeled. Jerry was a great host and answered every and all of our questions. Will definitely book another trip. Had everything we needed for the house and has a great view of the lake.

Amazing!!

We stayed here last year and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was perfect again super clean and nice. Everyone had a blast. Jerry is great to rent from. We actually caught a lot of catfish anywhere from 2-10lbs off the dock after dark. Kids loved it. We will definitely stay here again sooner rather than later. A lot of fun memories were made!

Great lake stay

We had a great time at this lake property. We have stayed at a lot of places in Cedar Creek Lake and we enjoyed this one. Check in was easy and the house was so clean! It had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. Our boys loved the lily pad and the 3 kayaks. It was warm when we went but we managed to catch 2 catfish off the dock. Sunsets were gorgeous! Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing weekend getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had a fun time out on the lake and loved waking up on the mornings to the beautiful view of the water. My kids also loved fishing off the dock and catching lots and lots of catfish! There were plenty of fish to catch and they felt like true fisherman! 😁 Jerry, the owner, was very kind and very easy to get a hold of if we had a question. Would recommend this place for a short getaway or even a week stay! 😊

Family Gathering

This was a great property to stay at. We all enjoyed the lake fishing, swimming and just enjoying the atmosphere. The home was clean and had every thing we needed. Jerry was great in communication I had told him before we came that I had little ones coming and he went straight out and bought them a little pool to swim in. He was just a very nice host. The kids enjoyed s’mores by the campfire. The kayaks and swim floats was a great bonus. We literally spent most of our time on the lake. I will definitely be seeking Jerry out on my next visit. I really appreciated him.

Great dog-friendly getaway close to DFW

Important and much appreciated things that are both unusual for vacation rentals: the beds were quite comfortable, and the AC worked well! Using the kitchen was a little challenging -- the vent does not work very well (which was indicated in instructions). The oven needs to be set about 10 degrees higher than you're aiming for. There is a lot of plasticware, but glassware is limited, and there were only 2 coffee mugs. The bugs that love to come into the house and hang out on the ceiling are alarming, because they look like mosquitos, but they seem harmless. The property was right next to the bridge, so there is a lot of traffic sounds -- not exactly zen and peaceful, which it looks like in the pics. We made good use of the kayaks and the float pad, and the husband caught a ton of fish off the dock, once he started using worms from the store just down the road. The owner was quite helpful when I reached out re: boat rental (we decided not to, because of timing and the water being super choppy the morning we wanted to go out.) The other thing to be aware of is there is no easy entry/exit into the water, other than the dock ladder, so our pup couldn't go swimming (he's almost 100 lbs, so there would be no way I could haul him back out.) Other minor things: the washing machine seems cantankerous. It turned on once but would not do so again. Also, there are few bedside tables, so we had to make do with empty boxes and chairs. Overall, it was great for a quick getaway!

Jerry ,The Owner is responsive and very helpful! The property is very clean and modern with an open concept. We could've used a bit more seating and side tables but, we made it work. Great place for water activities and lake enjoyment. The only downside we couldn't fix...the causeway is right there and very noisy for hanging oitside on the porch to enjoy the view~

Great Lake house

The house is newly renovated super modern. Very cute. Plenty of room for a family with children. The third room is connected to the second room. The master suite has a beautiful view of the lake. The beds are all extremely soft. The owner was extremely communicative and super nice. Has a great dock.
