Angela, we are happy to know that you enjoyed an overall pleasant stay in Majestic Beach Towers 2-1708, a two-bed/two-bath Gulf-front condo. Please accept our apology for the construction. The city/county originally planned to begin the beach restoration project near Majestic in December. This changed when they added a 2nd barge to dredge. It was scheduled to take place between October 19-25, behind Majestic Beach Towers. Due to unforeseen weather delays, this process was taking more time than originally estimated. These are issues that we unfortunately have no control over. We manage the interior of the unit. Thank you for choosing Real Joy.

Fantastic unit and location

This unit was perfect for us. I could see us living there. The view was beautiful and everything was comfortable. We had everything we needed. I'm not sure it could have been better.

Perfect Beach Front Condo

This was the perfect beach front condo in PCB. The condo layout was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family of four. Balcony is HUGE and view of the beach is spectacular! Condo was very clean upon arrival. Parking passes and resort wrist bands were readily available and easy to use. Reserved beach chairs were AMAZING and a huge plus for our beach time. Condo is close to many great attractions and restaurants! We had a blast and will be back!!

Great Unit

The condo was very clean and just as described. The beach service was really convenient. The building was also nice with good amenities. The only negative was how cold the pools were. I do not think that the outdoor pools are heated, which is something to note if you want to go early or late in the season.

Very Nice!

The condo is just as described. Very nice and huge master suite and bath. My granddaughter loved the bunk beds. Beds were nice with good mattresses. Great views from the 17th floor. Everything included that you would need in the kitchen. Bring extra toilet paper as one roll per bath was provided. There were two 6 foot umbrellas and bogie boards and crab net in the laundry closet, which saves you $60 dollars a day beach service rental. One blow dryer wasn't working and a board (rotting) really should be replaced near the master shower as previously stated in another review. Other than that it was clean and perfect. Well, except for check-in time. They, like everybody else, apparently are having staffing issue and we didn't get to check in til 5, kind of a bummer. I would recommend staying here.

You should have gotten an email letting you know that we provide a starter pack of bathroom and kitchen essentials only and that you should expect to purchase these items or bring them from home. This property definitely needs some updates.

This particular unit (1708) was not as advertised. The living room furniture is worn out. It felt like we were sitting on a board on the couch and love seat. The furniture in both bedrooms didn’t match and had crap stored in corners, the rugs were disgusting, the cups in the cabinet were dirty, dust was all over, bulbs out, front door key pad was falling off, toilet paper holder in 2nd bathroom was broken, etc. One positive regarding the mattresses - they were comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this unit to anyone unless you get a huge discount!!

Terri, We are sorry that you felt this unit was not as advertised. If we had known about some of these issues you were having we could have sent someone out to clean and fix the toilet paper holder, replace some lightbulbs, etc. We have sent a crew to fix the other issues and we will let the owner know that the couches are uncomfortable. We're glad you liked the bed though. We hope you enjoyed a good night's sleep.

It was just OK

A couple of frustrating things. 1. Only one garbage bag. 2. No instructions for the TV. Plus, you need cable or something else, not just a HULU etc. Also need channels. 3. Dirty towels on the floor when we arrived. 4. Should have access to the gym included in the stay. If not included, then it needs to be on the VRBO website. It was just OK. I’ve stayed in Marco Island over 9 times and the service and condo was much more prepared for our stay. Response from manager was good. REceived responses in a short amount of time. If we come again, we will look into staying in the building, but probably not the same place.

You should have gotten an email prior to your stay letting you know that we provide a starter of kitchen and bathroom essentials so you should plan to bring these items from home or purchase them once you get here. We will let the owner know that you were disappointed with the TV situation. We apologize for the dirty towel and will be speaking with the cleaning service about that. The rental listing clearly states, "*Guests do not have access to the fitness center at Majestic Beach Towers.*" so we are not sure why you were confused about that. Great Condo!

The condo is exactly as described. Our main isssue was the management company. You communicate through text. It took all day to get our parking pass. We never received what we needed to get the 2 chairs and umbrella. Thankfully the person on the beach gave us a break and set us up anyway. The day of arrival, we got a message saying no access to fitness center. We have a collegiate athlete who needed access. We text and offfered to pay a deposit and whatever necessary to get access to fitness. The management company kept telling us it’s possible, they were working on it. I contacted them every day but they never responded with a final answer in 6 days. Despite all of that, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Poor communication

The Condo itself was as advertised, clean, neat, great view. The problem was with Real Joy vacations who manages the property. I had contacted them prior to booking the condo and verified that the chairs would be available as advertised as well as the restaraunt/ bar downstairs would be open. Neaither of these were available. There was planned construction happening 24 hours a day on the beach behind the condo. We had to walk severl hundred yards up the beach pay $45for chairs each day.I contacted Real Joy on Tuesday the 26th and was told oh sorry well have a wonderfull vacation anyway. I have trouble with my feet and the daily treck up the beach was unacceptable especially packing a cooler since even if there was an open bar who wants to walk that far to get a drink. The construction at night was so loud i could not get any sleep all week. all in al the vacation was completly ruined when it could have been salvaged easily by simply having us move to another nearby vacant property. No solutioin was offered even when i wrote again about the noise at night on Wed. morning. Never again do I want to see the word real joy on my vacation docs. Extremely disapointed in VRBO for doing business with them and will be using another site from now on for my vacation planning.

Christopher, we are pleased to know that you found this two-bed, two-bath Gulf-front condo to be as advertised, clean, and neat with a great view. Please accept our sincerest apology for the construction noise and beach service being unavailable. Ed’s Beach Service, who handles all of the beach service at Majestic, stopped servicing the beach on October 29th. They will resume beach service on March 01, 2022. The city/county originally planned to begin the beach restoration project near Majestic in December. This changed when they added a 2nd barge to dredge. It was scheduled to take place between October 19-25, behind Majestic Beach Towers. Due to unforeseen weather delays, this process was taking more time than originally estimated. We have been told by someone at the resort that the restaurant/bar has been open. These are issues that we unfortunately have no control over. We manage the interior of the unit. Nasty Condo

The condo was beautiful. However, it was nasty and filthy there was no way it was cleaned well. We huge amounts of trash on the floor and furniture had hand prints all over. We had to clean the place up and we were trying to relax!!

We strive to provide a clean and comfortable environment for our guests and if we fall short we want to know so we can make it right. If you had let us know during your stay, we could have sent a new cleaner to redo the work. Letting us know during your stay also helps us let the cleaning company know that there is a problem. We are truly sorry you felt you had to clean on your vacation. We hope you were able to enjoy some time on our beautiful beaches and had a safe trip home.

room was very nice

The door lock was loose and had to make sure you shut the door all the way. Which it worked so no real issue with that. The hall/bunk bathroom tub would not drain. My son took a shower the 1st night and it took about 20 to 30 min for it to drain 3in of water. We did not use that shower the rest of our stay. I sent a message got a response that said they were forwarding it to their Guest Service Specialist and I would hear back but never did. Over all everything else was great. The room was clean and the view was awesome!

Nice complex

We have stayed at Majestic several times and this was our second time staying in this unit. The facility is well Maintained and rental company is fantastic! The condo is comfortable and clean. The only complaints I have……there are SEVERAL slats of the sliding glass door blinds missing, which of course allows for limited privacy and lots of early morning sunlight to come in. Also, the rug under the dining table has a badly curled up edge and it is a safety hazard. My sister was in an orthopedic boot during our stay so we ended up removing the rug from under the table while we were there. Other than that, nice condo, nice facility, easy beach access!

Great time

We love Majestic! We have been several times. I teach high school and my daughter and her best friend are graduating this year. I took the girls and my 15-year-old son. It was a little cold, but we were able to walk to the Pier each day, cook in the condo, walk to Walmart, and feel safe. There was an issue with the master bedroom toilet and the hairdryer did not work in the hall bathroom. Those were minimal issues. Great place and the big-screen was awesome for late-night binge watching.

Majestic Beach Towers

We traveled with the expectation that all appliances would be in working order. After all, that's why we rented a condo and not a hotel room. We called about the dryer not working on Sunday. We contacted them again on Monday. We finally received a reply on Tuesday after my husband and I made separate inquiries that someone would be out on Wednesday to repair or replace. They did bring us some clean towels. We had to contact RealJoy again on Wednesday to say it had not been repaired only to be told that it would not be fixed before we checked out. The solution was for us to gather our laundry and take it to the hotel laundry facility, pay to have it cleaned, go back and pick it up once it was cleaned and folded and they would reimburse us at a later date. We did not want to take that chance nor did we want to interrupt our day and go to all that trouble. I was told I would be contacted again about a possible reimbursement after he spoke with someone else. I didn't ask for one but was told he would try to work something out for us. I never received a call back or text response. Very poor customer service. We purposely did not pack extra because we knew we had a washer and dryer in the unit. We also like to wash our beach towels several times throughout the week. The condo itself was roomy and very, tastefully decorated but could use a deep cleaning as there was mold around the shower door. The unit is also in need of an exterminator although the issue wasn't major, it could turn into one if not addressed. I did not raise those issues with management as they were not bad enough to cause any major distress. The bed was comfortable although there were vertical blinds missing in both the bedroom and living room so early morning light coming in was an issue. I love the vanity area of the master bedroom and that the bedroom itself was oceanfront. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked and the refrigerator had an ice dispenser which was nice since the ice maker in the bar area had been removed. I would stay in this condo again if I knew the dryer was fixed and if it was managed by a different group. For the record, I have stayed at Majestic Beach Towers approximately 8 previous times in different units, renting either from an individual owner, through vrbo or through another rental agency and never had an issue or left any kind of negative review. We felt mislead and did not appreciated the poor customer service.

We are happy to know that you thought this unit was roomy and very tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and a well stocked kitchen. Please accept our sincerest apology for any frustration caused by the dryer not working properly and for the mold around the shower door. We see that unfortunately a part needed to be ordered for the dryer to be fixed and it would take at least two days to be delivered. We hope that you received the $250.00 back for compensation. We will forward your comments regarding the need for an exterminator and the missing vertical blinds in the bedroom and living room to property managers so that they may make sure that these issues have been resolved. We would have been more than happy to send someone to remedy any of these issues had we been made aware during your stay. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

Nice property/ great view

This is a very well maintained property with a great view. The beach chairs are an added plus. Parking is convenient.
