LoneBear Cottage1 Historic Dahlonega & Wineries!

This clean, modern cottage rests in quiet seclusion between historic Dahlonega and Cleveland. Only 12 miles from GA 400, the location is central to everything you’ll want to do and see. It’s located minutes from 10 local wineries, multiple wedding venues and other family activities. Large windows and glass doors provide lots of natural light that brings the outdoors in, all while providing you the latest conveniences and comfort with modern furniture and appliances. Master bedroom contains king size bed and private bathroom. Guest bedroom contains queen size bed and access to full bathroom. Air mattress is provided to accommodate children or two extra guests. Enjoy a fire inside using the gas fireplace or outside at the private fire pit, and we’ll provide the wood! Relax on the back deck with the gas grill or watch wildlife from the comfort of the front porch rocking chairs. Coffee bar and fully equipped kitchen provides all you need if you want to cook. This cottage shares a 5 acre wooded lot with a comparable cottage called LoneBear Cottage #2. Rent one cottage or both for large family gatherings!

What a beautiful, spacious cottage! We loved the warm fireplace and comfortable king size bed. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was large and exceptionally clean. The entire space was very clean and comfortable, and it was a very easy drive into Dahlonega to enjoy all the Christmas lights and festivities. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect cabin for 2 couples. The cabin had everything we needed.

Beautiful property, very comfortable, exceptionally clean. Exactly as advertised, plus some. We enjoyed the extra little touches throughout the cottage, such as the welcome sign and the notebook of menus from local restaurants. Plus the owners are truly nice people and very responsive. Will definitely consider again next time we're in Dahlonega.

What a great property! It was so clean, comfortable and quiet (other than an occasional rooster crowing - but it didn't bother us at all). We loved this property so much that we ended up renting it again the following weekend. We look forward to staying again when we return to Dahlonega.

Charming cabin!

My husband and I stayed in this adorable cabin over the weekend for a wedding in Cleveland. The cabin was perfect for us! It was clean, carefully appointed, nestled in the woods, and was close to both Cleveland and Dahlonega. We would definitely stay again and bring our children.

Another Great Visit

This our third time staying at the Cottages. Everything is immaculately clean, and the property is private with outdoor firepit. Centrally located to downtown Dahlonega and the multitude of wineries in the area. We will be back!!

This location was great! You are 2 minutes from Doghobble and 5 minutes from Cavendar. Kaya and other wineries are close too! The place itself was VERY clean and had everything you needed. The firepit was a bonus! Ubereats delivers as well! Great stay!!!

Fabulous Cottage

My friend and I got away for a weekend to visit Dahlonega. The cabin is beautiful and lacked for NOTHING. It was spotless, clearly well maintained, and so cozy. Could not have asked for more.

My husband, Bill and I have been in Dahlonega for over 22 years. We have 4 adult children, all married with wonderful spouses, and we have 5 grandchildren and another one on the way. My husband and I both continue to work and enjoy traveling when we get the time, gardening, concerts and projects around our house!

Why they chose this property

Bill and I looked for several years before we landed on this perfect property. We decided to build 2 cottages, but with enough distance between them to ensure privacy for both cottages. The location is convenient to many attractions in our area but very private.

What makes this property unique

This area is quiet and peaceful - perfect for a weekend get-a-way or a week trip to the mountains. We included everything that we enjoy in our own home - a back deck to sit and enjoy the early mornings or late evenings, a fire pit for those brisk, fall nights and a nice fire place when you don't want to get outdoors.
