About this property

Enjoy the big ocean views, hear the waves crashing, enjoy the coastal vibe.

Renovated in 2015, we took the beach house from the 50's and brought it into the new century. Torn down to studs, everything is brand new with all of the great upgrades including quartzite counter-tops, all new appliances, new cabinets throughout, solid wood doors, cool flooring, awesome lighting fixtures, ETC.

My favorite place is the large covered deck overlooking the ocean. You can hear the sounds, smell the mist and enjoy the views of this one of a kind California Cove called Avila Beach. Super clean and comfortable for up to 6 people.

We are only a few blocks from all of the Avila downtown action, yet we are still out of the crowds and commotion. Great for relaxing when you want to chill at the house, but still only a short walk to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.

We offer three off-street parking spots which is critical on most every weekend.

From the downstairs master bedroom there is a courtyard under the ocean side deck, great for storing bikes.

The home was refreshed in March 2026 with several upgrades, including three new mattresses, updated primary bedroom furniture, new dining furniture, a new BBQ, two new patio chairs on the deck, and new carpeting.

Please hang all wet towels before departure and don't strip beds, the cleaners will handle all bedding. Please turn off all lights, electronics, heater, and bbq propane tank. Lock door before leaving.
Please place all trash and recycling on the street, and put trash cans on the curb if you're departing on Wednesday evening.
Please put away all cleaned, used dishes and kitchen items and start dishwasher before leaving. Additional cleaning beyond standard checkout expectations may result in extra charges. Thank you!

Fun spot

The house is nicely located near Avila Beach, which has a gorgeous beach, pier and numerous shops and restaurants. The deck at the house overlooks the beach and is very private. Nice kitchen and two full baths. Highly recommended.

My family and I first fell in Love with Avila Beach in the Mid 90's when we moved to San Luis Obispo County. We always wanted to be a part of Avila, but it was so hard own anything as there are so few properties worth buying in our price range. Our friend was living in this one and the Landlord called him up informing him she was going to sell. He called me and the rest is history.

Why they chose this property

I think it has everything a beach house should. Great character when you are there and only a few blocks to the sand when you want to enjoy the beach. You're in the action but out of the action at the same time.
