**There is a planned project scheduled to begin this July to address a long term solution to protect the seawall area and erosion. The project may take anywhere from 4-6 months. These dates (July-Dec) may be subject to change. During this time there will be no access to the oceanfront side of the building. Honokowai Beach Park offers a large grass field for play and a beautiful beach just .3 miles from Kaleialoha. See pictures for details.**

Come stay in our beautiful condo home. Our unit features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, kitchen supplies, recessed lighting, and tile flooring throughout.

All new living room furniture including a flat screen TV/DVD/CD player. Our bathroom also features a granite countertop and a remodeled bathroom shower and fixtures..it came out beautiful! We have our own washer/dryer in the unit for added convenience.

Our bedroom we now feature a king size bed and we've put in a small TV in the bedroom also. We've also added a brand new queen sleep sofa in the living room to accommodate up to 4 people comfortably.

We've taken great care to make sure our home has all the amenities that we like to have ourselves when travelling. Our bed is super comfortable and all the new furnishings were selected for comfort and convenience.

Kaleialoha is located in Honokowai just north of Kaanapali and directly OCEANFRONT! We have a magnificent view of both neighbor islands of Molokai and Lanai and simply the most perfect spot for watching our incredible sunsets and whale watching!

Only four stories high our property is relatively quiet set away from all the high rise resorts and condominiums. We enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to the Honokowai Shopping Center, the Kahana Gateway Shopping Plaza, and especially the Farmers Market..we love the Farmers Market it's so much fun!

Not to mention the park and beach are directly across the street from the Farmers Market and it's absolutely lovely with a playground for the kids, picnic tables and grills...it's great!

Take advantage of our home grocery delivery service. It's wonderful especially for the first night that you arrive. When making your reservation just let us know what you would like to have stocked for your arrival. Save yourself that extra stop on the way in from the airport.

Be sure to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants in our area. Roy's is just up the street and considered one of Maui's best! For golf Kapalua Resort is only 10 min north of us the Kaanapali Golf Resort is only 5 minutes south of us.

You'll find easy access to all the beaches all along the lower road where we are. Or call our management staff on island and they'll provide you with maps and info on the island that we're sure you'll find helpful. We may not be on island, but our management team is. They are on call 24/7 so don't hesitate to call upon them when you arrive.

Unit met most of our needs

PROS:

liked the view - saw turtles but no whales. Awesome view for sunsets.

location was great - walking distance to nearby park, beach, farmer's market

complex has respectful guests/residents

privacy of the lanai (can't see neighbors and vice versa)

unit was clean

washer/dryer in unit very convenient

shared grills were easy to use

well stocked kitchen and drawers (e.g. aluminum foil, spices, utensils galore)

some snorkel stuff like water shoes and fins available

Fans in each room

Water gets hot quickly

Baby really enjoyed all the mirrors in the unit

CONS:

beach access closed as mentioned in the description due to a sink hole just outside the unit. There is a lawn and you'll notice a huge patch of dirt--it's because the dirt was put in it to cover the sink hole. However, there are reclining beach chairs on the lawn if you wish to enjoy the oceanfront view.

A/C was loud and it only cools the living room well

dryer vent exhausts into unit

bathroom fan is loud and neighbor left us 2 notes to shut it off by 9pm

not super baby-friendly--no tub (but the deep kitchen sink is nice for bath time), no carpet, a crib in the bedroom eliminates the use of the closet

curtains were dusty

tight parking spot (rented a Jeep and it was hard to park)

Can't wait to return

We loved our trip to Maui, and this condo was one of the best decisions we made. The process of booking it through the agency was super easy. Getting keys upon arrival was easy. The condo itself was PERFECT. Love the remodeled kitchen and bathroom, and the view is just the icing on the cake. I can't count how many rainbows we saw over the ocean from our balcony. The community is quiet, and the people we met in the evenings over sunset were very welcoming. It's very close to a great snorkeling spot to see turtles, surf, restaurants. We'll definitely be staying here again. Thank you to the family for opening your beautiful home so we can enjoy it too. Mahalo.

Just tremendous

I wanted to write you a short note to thank for providing my wife and I excellent accommodations during our stay in Maui. The whole process of booking and getting into the unit was made very easy, and the condo was perfect for us. Having breakfast every morning to that view was magnificent(and the sunsets weren't too shabby either). The condo fit all our needs, and we have a new favorite spot on the island. As you say there on the island, Mahalo.

We stayed for one tremendous week!!! Whales and turtles many times during each day, right from the balcony! Walked to the farmer's market and had the best banana nut bread! Walked to the supermarket too. Rainbows galore. Very clean, quiet place. Would definitely rent it again! Kitchen had everything you could need including spices, dish soap, laundry soap, pots and pans. Beautifully updated all around. Huge comfortable bed. Towels, beach towels, beach chairs everything you could want or need. Check out the blue travelers guide on the bookshelf, very helpful. We will be back!

Awesome Condo!

We stayed in #308 for two amazing weeks. If you love the ocean you will love this condo. The bed was very comfortable. The bed is important when you rent a Condo for two weeks. It was just like the one from home. Kitchen appliances were great. Brand new frig. Made plenty of ice and had plenty of room for our Costco Runs. Front room couch very comfortable. Flat screen Tv's in front room and bedroom. BUT, my favorite place in the Condo was the Lanai. We ate breakfast and drank our morning coffee while watching the turtles every morning. The grounds at the Haleialoha are maintained to perfection. The pool was crystal clean and the BBQ area. We have recommended this Condo to all of our friends and we are planning on returning in 2014. Thank you for sharing your home in Maui with us. ALOHA!
