Beautiful Lake House on Cowpen Lake w/Private Fishing Pond Boat Rental Available

Come enjoy our wonderful home on a beautiful, private 600 acre lake. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath lake house is a perfect family or friend getaway. The house is located on Cowpen Lake in Hawthorne, FL located 30 minutes from University of Florida. House is on 2 very private acres with plenty of parking. Cowpen Lake is a spring fed, clear lake great for boating and fishing. Bass, bream, gar, crappie and catfish can all be caught from the dock. Our property also has a 4 acre small fishing pond that is perfect for kids. Boats can be launched from shore with ease. Pet friendly. The property is completely fenced in. There is a 2018 Harris Pontoon Boat available to be rented during your stay. Ready and in the water with a full tank of gas to enjoy the lake!!

Extra Full Sized Bathroom downstairs off the living room area as well.
Optional Room 4 - The Master Bedroom is connected to an Office where there is an EZ Bed pop up Queen Air Mattress that can be utilized for extra sleeping.
There are a couple of couches that are comfortable to sleep on as well.
House sleeps 6 comfortably, but can sleep up to 10.

We stayed here for a family event. Great place to stay with a group or alone. Spacious inside & the kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook or grill outside. Has a nice screened in patio, pavilion and easy accessible dock. We chose to rent the pontoon boat which we enjoyed. Fishing and bird life in abundance We will stay again. Just to remember this is located on a lake so you might want to bring mosquito spray.
