We really enjoyed our stay here. Weather was really mild and had some trouble getting the main living area to cool off but other than that it was great. Parking was also a little tricky. Not the easiest place to find which we were ok with once we got there. You feel like you are in the woods which we really enjoyed! Great place!

Very quiet and peaceful. The Thecabin feels remote, yet has immediate access into the park.There is easy access to the grill and fire pit outside. Upstairs bedrooms are well appointed as are all the bathroom with a generous amount of pillows, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is also well appointed with full sized appliances. The basement area has been finished out; however, missing a dehumidifier. There are only three cabins located on this lane which makes it very private and quiet. We will definitely seek this Cabin again for future visits to the Pipestem area!

The location to Pipestem state park is really convenient. The kitchen is stocked well. The bathrooms are very small and the house was not handicapped friendly.

Good location. Very nice living layout with plenty of room. Plumbing issues to be corrected were a potential leak in the upstairs bathrooms. The water heater was extremely hot and the plumbing reversed in the upstairs hall shower. The shower was pretty tight even for a small to average sized adult. The deck was nice and the location was private and quiet.

The cabin is in a great location to enjoy the activities at Pipestem State Park. It was very clean, cozy, and well supplied. Tammy was quick to respond to our questions. The only reasons for 4 stars was the first floor wall a.c. unit was not working. The fan was on, but not blowing cold air. Luckily the ceiling fans circulated air, and the upstairs unit was working fine. Also, the bathrooms are very small, particularly the showers. Our family had an enjoyable stay!

What a great location! Everything was as listed when we arrived. We do not give top stars lightly but we could not have asked for better directions, ease of check in, everything as it looked in the pictures, clear expectations at the house as to how to work and leave items, and everything in working order. Among our top rental experiences and the cabin was enjoyed by our group. If we have reason to be back in the area, we hope The Cardinal will be available.

Just a couple of issues 1 the walkway was very icy & dangerous 2 there was hair on some of the pillows 3 distance to the ski slopes was 45 minutes but overall we had great time

Beautiful, well kept cabin. Quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had many cooking utensils and supplies. Informational book about the cabin and surrounding area very helpful. Great location for local activities.

Always perfect

We’ve been renting these cabins for the past few years and they never disappoint! Everything is always clean and tidy. The beds are decent for a rental and there’s always enough linens & towels. We’ll continue to stay here on our yearly trips!

Short WeekendTrip

Property was beautiful with more than enough sleeping quarters for our group. Gas company had turned off the gas prior to our arrival to do some repairs so the hot water heater pilot light was out. We called management and they responded quickly! They were very helpful and made some wonderful suggestions for us to check out while on our stay. Even though the property description was accurate on distance to Winterplace VRBO had it listed a lot closer. Overall stay was wonderful would love to stay again!
