Single level large family home in the heart of SF.
Our family home is situated on a extremely well manicured lot with trees, flowers, an outdoor barbecue grill, two outdoor fireplaces and tons of covered portals (patios) and a chairlift swing from the ski hill. From the driveway to the front door there is one small step and throughout the inside of the entire home, there are ZERO steps. Inside our home, guests will be surrounded by our collections of Navajo rugs and Hopi pottery. Our home has brick and flagstone floors with radiant heat under them both. Our walls are plastered and the living room has some of the largest vegas I have ever seen (cross beam wooden supports). The chef in the family will love the granite counters in the kitchen with almost every tool the cook in your family could want. Off of the large kitchen comes first a dining room with a table for 12 which then opens into the huge living room with double doors that lead into the TV den. There we also have a horseshoe sleeper sofa with what they call a "queen" sleeper and cushions on both sides when it is opened for sleeping. The king size bed in the master, built by hand from cedar, is clearly a show stopper. The master also comes with large vegas, a kiva fire place, a large TV and its own walk in closet and full bathroom with a jacuzzie tub. Bedroom #2 and #3 both come with large queen beds and share a full bathroom off their entrances. Bedroom #4, another mini master suite, also has the vegas, a kiva fireplace, it's own 3/4 bath with a walk in shower and a full walk in closet. The fifth bedroom can share the hall bath with the two queen bedrooms or the second mini master bath and has a set of bunk-beds, both mattresses are doubles. There are no rails on the top nor the bottom bunks so this bed is not suitable for younger kids. Off the main hall of the house, next to the TV den is the Laundry room with a full size top load washing machine and a full size dryer. The house does have drying racks, being in the southwest with little to no moisture in the air, clothes hung up to dry will do so over night. Our home does have plenty of "street" parking along the lane as well as 3 parking spaces in the driveway. The homes locked off two car garage and single person office are not included in the rental and may be accessed / used from time to time during your stay. This is our family home and although our boys are getting older and the home is not as filled with people as it once was, we do still have a need to access the office and or the garage from time to time.

Brad’s home is lovely! Listing very accurately describes the setup and amenities available! We traveled with 11 people and it was the perfect amount of space! Kitchen is very well equipped and location is great. Walkable to the children’s museum, canyon road and even downtown if you’re up for a little stroll. Would highly recommend this home for a large family gathering!
What an amazing house. Location is an enjoyable walk to the Square and all that is Santa Fe. And it’s convenient to coffee shops and grocery stores such as Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
Held a family reunion here and most meals for 20 people (9 people stayed elsewhere). Fun and beautiful place to stay and good room for a group both inside and outside.
We could not of had a better time here! The location was convenient to downtown, beautiful, spacious, clean, with a lovely artistic flair! The property had everything we needed and more!

About the host
Hosted by Brad Furry
The current owners purchased the family home in 2015. As their kids have gotten older and gone off to school, they have decided to allow others to enjoy the home as much as they have. With huge entertaining spaces both inside the home and outside, the house is perfect for large family gatherings, large dinner parties, family events and corporate events alike.
Why they chose this property
There are very few large homes this close to town and this easy to access. Located in the South Capital area of the city, we are truly walking distance to the plaza, restaurants and museums and the famous Canyon Road Art Galleries.
What makes this property unique
Our home has a large fenced yard, adobe brick fencing to be exact, gorgeously landscaped yard with a huge amount of space to entertain, both spring, summer and fall. Two huge portals, or covered patios to dine under with you and several of your closest friends. The front yard has the fire pit and the back has the fireplace with built in BBQ and seating with cushions all around. A dog run, we are pet friendly.
