Best of View offers 2-King Bedrooms, a Pool Table, and the loft features 2-Twin Beds. The kitchen is fully-equipped and features heart of pine cabinets complimented with stainless steel appliances for cooking meals in with the family. Relax and enjoy watching your favorite movies, or enjoy a quiet evening on the balcony enjoying the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains! After a long day of exploring the area you can come back and enjoy some down time in the Hot Tub. Summertime fun can include days at the resort swimming pool or fitness room. Best of View may be your next favorite destination for years to come! Being at the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains your possibilities for adventure are infinite. In the summer don’t miss out on the synchronized fireflies, one of the only places in the world to experience this phenomenon. Bring a lunch and ramble over to Cades Cove for the day. Auto-tour the eleven-mile loop of Cades Cove to experience what early settlers to the area would have endured. Set out on a hike along the Abram Falls trail, starting in Cades Cove, and ending at the 20-foot tall Abrams Falls spilling into a scenic pool.

Amazing View!!

The views from this property are absolutely stunning! The cabin was spacious, comfy beds, we used the hot tub and pool table everyday and the location was central to everywhere we wanted to visit while in TN. As in previous reviews, things like the carpet could use a little TLC, and for a luxury rental, I expected a few more “extras” like nicer towels, beach- sized towels for hot tub use, extra hand soaps and a few more essentials stocked in the kitchen, but none of those things were “deal-breakers” for me. Management was very responsive to us during our stay. All in all, my family had a relaxing and fun vacation here!

Wonderful Time Away

The view from this property is phenomenal! The Christmas tree was a great touch! The sleeping arrangements fit our family perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with made for easy meals. The staff was very quick to respond and very friendly. There are a few things that need fixed, handrail on the outside entrance was missing a spindle, the downstairs floor squeaks horribly, the downstairs bathroom fan did not work, more comfortable mattresses on the twin beds, and the hot tub could use some work. I have two recommendations, add a curtain or blind on the entrance door and add additional living room seating. If a cabin states it sleeps 8, then there should be enough living room seating for everyone. But regardless of these minor things, this was a great cabin. Thank you for this beautiful cabin to celebrate our children's birthdays!

Our first ever VRBO experience

Overall we were very pleased with the cabin, especially the views. We utilized the hot tub and balcony area every evening. The only reason we gave 4 starts in one category was because we felt the lower level carpet we past it's life showing multiple stains and the railing entering the cabin was missing a spindle and was rather wobbly. Overall an amazing experience and would consider staying again.

We Love Legacy Mountain

Best of View is an excellent name for this property. The cabin was very clean and most of the aminities were in working order. Those that werent were not a big deal, so we had no complaints during our stay. Couple of comments for the property manager to improve for other guests: The downstairs bathroom fan didnt work, and we couldnt get the fireplace to turn on (may have been operator error), the floor next to the pool table creaked a good bit, and the pool table could use a refelting (couple of nicks on one end). As a message to future guests: the minor issues above should not deter you from booking this property. It is a BEAUTIFUL view that will take your breath away every morning! Nice warm, cozy cabin! Litterally in the clouds some mornings.

Great View!

This property has one of the better views in the Gatlinburg area. Legacy Mountain has numerous cabins for rent with a great view of Mt. Leconte. "Best of View" is located very high up on the mountain... only a couple of levels from the top. We weren't completely happy with the layout of the cabin... the only bathrooms were located in the bedrooms... it really needs a seperate 1/2 bath or something... but in general it is similar to the other cabins there and in fairly decent shape. We would certainly consider staying there again

The view is unmatched, but this cabin needs some work.

Overall, the cabin was fine. It was cute and comfy and the ease of the drive was excellent. However, the cleanliness was lacking. Carpets need shampooed, corners in bathrooms and around toilet need to be actually cleaned. We had quite a few items that did not work: vent fan in the master bathroom downstairs, jacuzzi jets did not work in that tub, toaster needs to be replaced, the light in the hot tub didn’t work and the hot tub itself seems to be falling apart. The balcony needs to be replaced soon as well, it is really bellowing out under the hot tub and caused concern for some members that were with us. So much so, they didn’t get it the hot tub. Like I said, overall this cabin is fine. But I feel we paid way too much for a “luxury” cabin that did not feel luxurious. The view is incredible, though! And it’s a spacious cabin- so that was nice for our larger group.

Beautiful view…

Can’t beat the view! The house was good. Hot tub wouldn’t heat and maintenance couldn’t fix it till Wednesday. Was told we would be compensated for the inconvenience. Be aware both bathrooms are in the bedrooms so you have to walk thru them which was a bit awkward at times. The beds were super comfortable. The pool table was a huge hit! The resort pool was great with a beautiful view. The steam room was out of order. half of the group liked to workout. The gym equipment had seen better days but they made the best of it. Most of all…THE VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the best cabin we have rented on our trips to Tennessee. Also first time using VRBO. It was effortless, Get there, unlock door, unpack. Everything was perfect. Good water as well. Best of View

The most appropriate name of any cabin we've stayed at yet. The view from this property is hands down the best. Waking up every morning to that was well worth it. Overall the cabin was great and fit our needs. We did not spend much time in the cabin other than mornings and late evenings so I can't give honest opinion about the kitchen and other amenities. Property Manager was very easy to work with and responded timely to all of our questions before arrival. Would recommend to anyone.

BEAUTIFUL!!

House was clean, kitchen was well stocked as we cooked many of our meals, hot tub was clean, pool was relaxing. Views were amazing! We saw 3 bears during our stay by the cabin!! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house great location

Rented this house for 2 families, 4 adults and 4 children. The only draw back was the layout of the home. Both bathrooms were only accessible threw the bedrooms. Kitchen is stocked with sufficient pots, pans, utensils, to prepare meals. The views are magnificent. Perfect location for Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. And local food store and dollar general for extras in close proximity as well. Highly recommend.

Clean inside but beware of sewage odor outside

Cabin was clean inside. A few things not working properly like downstairs shower door, vent fan in downstairs bathroom but overall the inside was nice. But the sewage smell outside was TERRIBLE! We contacted the property manager about the smell and was told that they would send maintenance staff over but then received a call back shortly after to say they were aware of the smell.

It's great to hear that the cabin was clean and nice for your stay! We inquired about the outdoor odor, and learned it was coming from another part of the neighborhood, not our property. The community is addressing that issue going forward. We did offer to make any accommodations that might improve the immediate area at this time. We believe it to be an isolated incident, as not other guests have reported this.

Toddler's First Vacation

This was a fantastic place to stay for our first vacation with a two and four year old. We even invited our friends who have a one and three year old. The above Loft gave us the ability to put all of the toddlers into a single bed while the adults would enjoy the views and sunset at night. The views of this property can't be described within a review. I highly recommend this cabin for an awesome vacation with phenomenal views of the beautiful Smoky Mountains while also having close entertainment for both adults and children!

Unbelievable view

We loved our stay at Best View. The hot tub in the deck overlooking the mountains was so relaxing after a long day. We had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and lunches.

View is ah-mazing!

We have stayed at Legacy Mountain four of the last five years we’ve come here. This is our first time with VRBO. Probably will go back to renting through Timber Tops. Cabin is as advertised online. Just not up to our standards.

Amazing Views!

Can’t beat the views from this cabin. Would love to come back again. Only complaint is wooden rockers need replaced on back porch.; they were falling apart. Not enough toilet paper. I would defiantly recommend this cabin.

Perfect Mountain View!

You cannot go wrong staying here! Our family and another family stayed here for 5 nights and we didn't want to leave! The only thing we wished was to be able to swim in the pool and access the club house. It was closed during our stay on April 1st-6th. This area is great!
