Wonderful stay

This property was a perfect home base for our multi-generational family vacation. We had close access to a beach, a huge yard for the kids to play in, a wraparound lanai to enjoy the view, and a great location close to Paia and Haiku. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect Location!

What a beautiful place! We spent a glorious week with our children and their wives and a granddaughter in this wonderful house. Great floor plan and the lanai was the best!

House was great. Had everything we needed, including beach chairs abd towels. Views were spectacular as we watched whales cruising by all day long. Would rent here again!

Ultimate vacation

Overall the location was absolutely sublime. We were there 9 nights and enjoyed everyone one of them. Distance from the house to the beach couldn't get much closer. We spent 40+ hours on the deck in the morning and evening just enjoying the ocean view.

Amazing house with the most breath taking views!

We really enjoyed our time at the house! It had the most amazing deck with the most spectacular views!! It was super spacious with an amazing breeze all the time. We had the most amazing 2 weeks in it and look forward to a trip back there sometime in the future!!

Spectacular views. Well appointed property. Friendly geckos. Walking distance to town. Turtles at the swimmable beach within a stone’s throw from the house. Amazing and hope to stay again!

We loved this property!! The quality of this location, the convenience of this location and the ease of communication regarding the check-in and a check out make process makes it a perfect fit for larger groups not interested in spending the majority of their time in resorts and tourist traps. This property is so much more than a vacation rental. Its views are breathtaking and close access to everything is so nice. The property manager has been wonderful. She has been very efficient and kept me up to date on everything. Very clear instructions as well.

Great relaxing vacation with amazing views!

The house was well appointed and comfortable for our stay. The views were absolutely incredible and it was well worth the price paid. We did have a couple of issues during our stay with smoke detector battery chirps in the middle of the night and with some roof leaks due to the heavy rains that occurred while we were there. The property management dealt with issues quickly and also assured us the roof is scheduled to be replaced soon. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay at the Paia beach house!

The Paia beach house was just what we hoped for. This beautiful and charming home is on a very private setting just off the beach with the most magnificent ocean views. We could have stayed just on the property and beach and in the lovely town of Paia for the entire time and had a wonderful family vacation. Instead we opted for frequent day trips to the nearby crater, the spectacular drive to Hana, whale watching, snorkeling at Molokini, and a lovely Luau as well. Thank you to our attentive hosts and to the most gracious people we met in Maui. Our third visit and we will be back again before long Aloha!!

Paia Beach House

This beach house was as advertised. Location was perfect. House was comfortable. Best part of home is the large deck that looks out over the ocean. This was our first visit to Hawaii and the vacation was better than expected. The house was no exception. The only drawback, (and maybe we were naive being from the Midwest) was the number of geckos in and about the house. I've been told that is normal, but we were admittedly surprised.

Peace and ocean views in Paia

What a winner this house is. The views are unmatched; waking up to see the surfers on Ho'okipa Beach out front never got old. The location, just ten minutes to the airport and right off the Hana Highway ended up being the perfect spot for us. Twice we drove over to Wailea Beach to get out of the wind and that was only 30 minutes from the house as well. Paia town is charming and the Paia Fish Market, Mama's Fish Market, and the Hailema General Store (our best meal by far and not to be missed) all were within a short drive. The huge porch was where we started and ended every day watching the sun go down over the Pacific. House was pretty, well-appointed, and comfortable for our family and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful home and its one-acre grounds fronting the ocean. Mahalo!

I wanted to clarify for potential guests that might be reading this, that the view you're looking at is Tavares Bay (not Hookipa), and that the house is not ocean front. It feels ocean front, but is actually across a small lane from the ocean. We'd love to have you return to Kuau beach House. Cathy

Kuau beach house has been an absolute dream. This is my favorite place I have ever stayed from the view alone. The lanai is the show stealer. Lots of seating and a gorgeous view. Steps from the beach where we saw sea turtles every day. From the moment we turned into the neighborhood I knew it would be special. Lots of beautiful vegetation, quiet, private and the views! The walk to the front door feels magical. With the stepping stones, flowers, my daughter loved looking for lizards and putting the fallen flowers in her hair. The outdoor showers have been a game changer. To shower with a view of the ocean, chef’s kiss! We had many family meals at the table and the kitchen is well stocked. All the wood work on the property is beautiful. The couch is cozy. The home doesn’t have a/c, but it’s open air and there is always a breeze. The only downside for me was the beds were firm, I prefer a softer bed. This has truly been an amazing place to stay and my family is so sad to leave. Paia is a whole vibe. 10/10 recommend!

Turtle Inn

We had an amazing stay here! We had 2 families 8 of us total and it was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. Definitely go down to the little beach, we saw about 20 turtles there one day. It was so neat!!!! Thank you!!!

Million Dollar View

Our whole family really loved this property. It's a very private setting with an amazing view of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach! And yet its still just a short walk to Paia for shopping and some great restaurants. Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back again.
