Gorgeous Oceanfront Paia Bay Home

Nalu House is the perfect home for a Maui vacation. This house, a beautiful designer remodeled home, combines old Hawaii's charm with all the modern amenities. Sit outside on a private covered lanai on relaxing lounge chairs to watch the turtles, surfers and paddle boarders as you sip a beverage or prepare dinner on the BBQ. Walk 10 yards to Paia Bay to play in the sand. Shops and restaurants are a 2 minutes stroll out the front gate.

As you step into the living room you get the feeling to be still outdoors! The large picture windows allow for tons of natural light to come in and take advantage of the expansive views. To add to the visual, we have full surround sound system throughout the property with speakers indoors and outdoors.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for the nights when you feel like staying in. In alternative there are plenty of restaurants and take away options at walking distance in Paia.
For after-dark entertainment you can move to the media room that has a large screen TV and a pull out couch.
There are only 2 bedrooms, each with a king size bed.
A weekly mid-stay clean is mandatory for stays of two weeks or longer.

Beautiful place, turtles often swimming right off the front yard, and a very helpful management team. Kitchen is also thoughtfully laid out with basically anything you'd need.

This place is a gem

Staying here was dreamy. The views are even more epic than they seem in the photos - in real life with the waves coming, surfers & palm trees.Walkable via the rock sea wall to Paia Bay, 2 minutes and you're on the beach.House itself is top quality - everything is gorgeous.Highly recommend.

Loved this beautiful house

We loved this house and our stay there. The home has amazing views and offers a very convenient and short walk into Paia town. The rental managers are great to talk to and ensured that our stay was great.

Perfect Getaway near everything!

Loved our time in Maui- the property has everything you can imagine and amenities you didn't even know you wanted! The sound of the sea lulled us to sleep. Surfers right out side the lanai and walking distance to shops and food... hiking, boating, snorkeling and yoga. Such fun!

Spectacular!

We are regular VRBO renters for our vacations and this was by far the most amazing property we have ever booked. The Managment was terrific, Darcy was very responsive to questions and wonderful to deal with. The pictures, as spectacular as they are, do not do the property justice. The location was perfect from the 100 yard walk to the main corner in Paia, to the 10 feet walk to the water to swim with the turtles. I cannot recommend this place more if your travels take you to Paia.

Would recommend

The house was very nice. Clean, modern, best views imaginable, comfortable, etc. it was also nice to have Paia town right at our doorsteps and the convenience of the coffee shop, groceries, restaurants, and pubs was something we missed when staying in other parts of the island. Also, the beach is one of the better beaches for clear water, zero crowds, and tons of turtles. The only issue we had was out of the control of the property management and that is with bored kids in the area squating in the absentee owners house next door and being disruptive. But, the property manager was awesome and did what she could do and it was only a problem for a short while. While you are in the backyard you would never realize how busy Paia town was as it is very private. We loved our stay.

Positive Criticism

We were totally impress with the property although the written instructions on how to access the various entrance codes would have been best if it was listed in chronological order, so that I wouldn't have had to call Darcey for her assistance. She replied with an attitude and said something to the effect that she already told me earlier and called out the code as if I was hard of hearing or something! That didn't start out positive but once we met, her demeanor changed. I'd like to say that I had a long day traveling from CA and to be greeted that way, did not set the stage and in the future I would make sure that whom ever greets the PAID guest do not have an attitude. Second the outside lanai should have those anti-slip walk trends because I did slip and fall but didn't hurt myself. Some other guest may do so in the future and that can become a liability.Other than that, we extremely loved the location and I've already gave a reference to one of my colleagues, who is looking into this.

Gorgeous

OMG this home is absolutely amazing. The home was clean and modern and looks like it has been recently updated. The location was perfect for us, didn’t want to do the resort thing this time and so glad we didn’t. A very close walk to the main town of Paia and to the beach. If your looking for a home with an amazing view and outside the resorts this is it!! The property manager was so easy to work with and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful ocean front home.

Nalu House is the perfect place to be on Maui. The large front porch lets you enjoy your coffee while watching surfers show off their skills. And Green Sea Turtles swim right out front! A wonderful breeze keeps you comfortable. Then there is the high tech, beautifully decorated inside of this home. The kitchen is well equipped for any menu and if you had a crowd, there would be room. We used all three bedrooms during our stay. All three were comfortable and roomy, each with an en-suite bathroom. It is lovely and relaxing. The fact that we were a very short walk to the middle of Paia was a super bonus. There are great restaurants and shops right there. A good organic grocery too. Our host, Darcy was very helpful and had a quick response when needed. We would highly recommend this home and we hope to stay again.
