The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. If you like golfing, Bar Harbor Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. It has 2 bedrooms in the main cabin and a third private bedroom in a seaside bungalow style cabin. Outside the property has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove with an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Both cabins sit near the shore and provide water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard.

The other is a ocean side cottage with a wonderful private sandy-gravel beach. It offers 4 bedrooms and three baths and will sleep 10.

Rent multiple units and save $100.00 on each rental per week.

Other Activies: Kayaking, birdwatching, and most important relaxing by the sea.

About Nathan Mason

We are a family of five that live locally in Lamoine. We got into vacation rental properties when we found from our own experiences it to be impossible or to costly to book hotel rooms for larger families. That's when we started offering vacation properties in our area. We also discovered by renting from others what makes a great rental experience, so we made each of our properties is uniquely different. Whether its hand cut post and beam, seaside cottage, secluded waterfront cabin, or a traditional Maine lakeside camp, we try to offer a wide range of a real Maine experience. We hope you enjoy staying with us.

Why Nathan Mason chose Acadia

Pasture Way is a wonderfully unique property. It offers the quiet peaceful rural neighborhood feel but has enough property to feel very secluded. The ocean access and wrap around porch right out the front door offers days of play and relaxation.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage at Pasture Way offers a great central location to everything the Acadia region has to offer. Whether you are planning to visit either parts of the National Park, want a leisurely drive up or down the coast, or just to enjoy the peaceful relaxing coastal town of Lamoine, this is the perfect place to be.

This is a beautiful property in a serene location.

The photos don't do this home justice. The owners thought of everything and also let us bring our two dogs. We couldn't have had a better time during our week's vacation in Lamoine (Bar Harbor), Maine.

Thank you and God Bless!

Horst F.

Away from it all

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We had deer in the yard daily that reminded me of home, it was nice and quiet. Within a half hour drive we could be in Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor and within 20 minutes Ellsworth or miniature golfing and ice cream. Would definitely come back.

Easy Living in Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We unexpectedly had four adults in the cottage for most of the week and it worked out very nicely. The place is comfortable and had almost everything we needed. The area was quiet but near Ellsworth which was quite a large (for Maine) town. We enjoyed ourselves.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in this spacious home which is equipped with everything you'll need. Especially loved that we were able to bring our dog and that he had lots of room to run around on the property. Location is off the beaten path but only 20 minutes to town to access groceries, gas, or anything else (Super Wal-Mart). About 40 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

AWESOME RENTAL!!

  • 5 of 5

This vacation rental was absolutely fabulous! We fell in love with it as soon as we pulled in the driveway. I loved the shake shingles and metal roof. The floorplan was also very well thought out making it feel so spacious. My husband, myself our two children and my Mother each had our own place to sleep and we never felt crowded. Although there was only one bathroom, it was so large that we could all get ready and it was never a problem.

The location of the home was also perfect for seeing Acadia and the Schoodic area. It was an easy and scenic drive to anywhere we wanted to go. There are so many things to do in the area we are ready to come back.

We want to thank you for adding all of the little touches to the home. There wasn't anything missing. We even cooked some lobster we got from a local lobsterman on our last night. I would absolutely recommend this rental to family and friends or anyone else who may be inquiring on this website.

Lamoine is a central location for all that the Acadia & Down east areas have to offer. Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island offer hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing, whale watching, gift shops, wonderful restaurants, and beautiful golf courses. Not to mention the most beautiful scenic drives on the east coast. Blue Hill and Castine are also nearby and offer art galleries, concerts, and great dining. For the adventurous a day trip up the coast to explore the quiet coastal vistas and quaint fishing villages is a wonderful way of seeing Down east, Maine at its best. If you want to stay close to home, Lamoine offers some of the best white sandy beaches in the region, with views of the coastal islands and mountains of Acadia.
