The Artist's Loft is a private 1 bedroom apartment with queen size bed, twin daybed and twin blow up bed in the living room to sleep up to 4 guests. Beautiful, unique, spacious, and is located at the gateway to the outdoor adventures of the St Croix Valley!

Located on the top floor of a truly one-of-a-kind historic building on main street, it will take all day to see the fine details of this artistic loft!

Full kitchen and mosaic-tiled bath with shower/claw-foot tub combo. Luxurious four-poster bed, 800 thread count linens and great views/light with lots of windows.

Newly designed reading nook with daybed for a cozy night in.

Enjoy the private, quiet stone patio and gardens around the back of the building as well!

The Neighborhood
In western Wisconsin, St. Croix Falls has become a destination for people who want to go places.

It's the western terminus of the 1,000-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail, which traces the last glacier as it began to melt and retreat northward, leaving a marvelously lumpy patchwork of rock, rubble and river gorges.

It's the southern trailhead of the 48-mile Gandy Dancer State Trail, a scenic crushed-limestone bicycle trail named for the rail workers who rhythmically swung pickaxes and hammers made by the Gandy Tool Co.

And it's the headquarters of the 252-mile St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, with a new visitors center that helps paddlers plan trips from the Namekagon to the St. Croix's confluence with the Mississippi.

There are another 12 trails in Interstate State Park, which became Wisconsin's first state park in 1900 and is the start of the Ice Age Trail.

The stay was amazing. The loft is a charming, beautifully decorated and inspiring place. The host is gracious, attentive without being intrusive and easy to communicate with. I look forward to returning.As an aside, VRBO is asking to rate the winery and wine experience. To my knowledge there is no winery on the property and I was not expecting a wine tasting.

We chose the Artist’s Loft for its proximity to the Ice Age Trail for a hiking weekend. The apartment was perfect- so charming and had everything we needed- a great home away from home. So much to do and see in the two river towns- we’d love to come back- and we’d definitely book the Artist’s Loft again!

Pure Bliss

This property is beautiful and unique! It was furnished with amazing one of a kind pieces and the architecture of the Artist’s Loft is gorgeous! It’s in a great area to wander and enjoy the beautiful St Croix Falls area. There is a cute cafe next door and a great bakery within easy walking distance. You also have use of a pretty courtyard area behind the building with string lights and multiple seating areas. Rhonda was great to work with and left some local bakery as a welcome. We would definitely recommend!

Hunters widows weekend annual trip - we were going to the Doe on the Go in Osceola and found this listing - we chose this charming property. We arrived at night to find the fire had been started and there was a cozy snow scene with jazz music in the TV - so welcoming - everything was beautiful and clean from the bath to the reading nook
