Great views. Close enough to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Comfy beds. Nice that each bedroom has their own bathroom. It was a steep trip down to the creek though. Definitely need good sneakers or hiking boots. Would recommend.

Perfect Summer Getaway

A beautiful spacious cabin surrounded by nature. Whether you enjoy hikes down to the river, sitting on the porch listening to the birds sing or simply relaxing by the fire pit to take in the Smokey Mountain View, this place has something for everyone. The perfect getaway for you and your family.

Mountain Vacation done right.

My wife and I spent our stay in the mountains at the beautiful Lam family's house. Oh my god the view from the back yard is amazing. The house was beautiful and amazing loved every second of it. Definitely a great place to stay with the family!

November Stay

I took the family to see the leaf change and have some time before the holidays. The house is great and so are the grounds. We fished the river on the property, hiked, cooked and had bonfires in the fire pit. We are already discussing our return trip hopefully soon!

Amazing private river experience

The property is located very close to everything. Its the perfect summer getaway. Very spacious with many rooms and plenty of amenities. The river is the perfect refresher with lots of shade and even a little beach to relax. Grab a tube and drift down the river!!

Breathe in the fresh air in peace

My sisters and I stayed in this beautiful vacation home and we used the back deck more than anything (although the kitchen was a dream!!) We sat for hours breathing in the view, the fresh air. Talking and listening to nature. Never even turned on a tv!! The home is peacefully secluded but still just a short drive from Chimney Rock (Hickory Nut Falls hike is a must!) Lake Lure and Asheville. The beds were comfy and enough bathrooms for everyone. This is the perfect place for a family, friends or just sisters getaway! We hope to return again!

Secluded retreat to escape the busyness of everyday life

We enjoyed a week at the property 12/26-1/2 and it was a wonderful experience. Our group of 10 had plenty of space and lots to keep occupied for the 7 days… it went too quick! The house is at the very end of a quiet road and nestled back on the lot, well outside of the view of neighbors. The kitchen was nicely appointed with a variety of items for cooking and baking. The kitchen island was newly installed- a great addition to the home and put to good use with our group for meals and puzzles. The bedrooms are huge with full baths in each. Between ping pong in the game room, bags in the garage and walks down to the river the kids and teens were always busy. This property is a treasure and a wonderful escape from the world. The land and views are beautiful. The owner is extremely attentive, shows pride of ownership and the couple of times we had questions he was quick to answer. Walmart isn’t far but I would suggest bringing the basics and enough to get you through the first day… once you arrive, you just want to be there. It’s safe, comfortable and feels like home. Asheville is about an hour away and we ventured there twice, once for the Biltmore and once to go shopping and an escape room. Closer to the property we checked out Chimney Rock and the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. They were all worth the time to visit.

Beautiful Home with awesome mountain views

This home was a big part of how much we enjoyed our vacation in the Lake Lure area. It is very comfortable and has everything a family needs to have a wonderful stay - well appointed kitchen, lots of room, super clean, front porch rocking chairs and cornhole, backyard fire pit and river. We had a blast! Thank you for thinking of everything a family would want on a vacation!

Easy and Relaxing Holiday

My family spent Christmas at this property - 6 adults and 1 very active 19 month old. There was plenty of space for all of us and we reasonably managed the toddler. It was unseasonably warm so we had a dinner on the back deck under the stars which was really lovely. The kitchen table was excellent for board games. The baby took many baths in the large tub to his delight. There are multiple trails surrounding the house and it is close to Asheville if you want to take a break from the solitude. The property is at the end of a long dirt road that we traversed in a minivan without a problem. Lots of privacy and very peaceful. Thanks for the great stay and memories.

Amazing home!

My family and I stayed at Tony’s property over Thanksgiving and had an amazing time. The house has tons of space, great views, and it was a nice bonus to have trails on the property.

Close to Heaven

My family and I absolutely loved the privacy of your home and yet were close enough to explore Lure Lake, Chimney Rock and other nearby cities. Perhaps the biggest surprise was the warm, nurturing feeling that we were at home while there and enjoyed the fire pit, the stream and the gift of season change. It was a written script out of a movie. We had a picnic down by the creek and felt as if we had spent a day in meditation. It was hard leaving and can't wait to return. Will certainly recommend to friends and other family. Thank you so much for providing this space to us.

Amazing View

Very secluded property with a breathtaking view. The large fire pit with the backdrop of the mountains/valley is definitely the highlight. Very nice bedrooms and common area spaces.

Beautiful mountain vacation

We enjoyed our beautiful mountain vacation at this spacious, well equipped home. We arrived in pouring rain, so we were quite thankful to have rented a home with a large garage in which for us to unload. Fortunately, we had much better weather the rest of the week. We saw breathtaking sunsets and appreciated the comfortable furniture. It was a little disappointing how strenuous the hike to the river was (not terribly long but very steep and narrow, in places), because it would not have been safe for our 3 year old twins to go there. Our 7 year old had no trouble with it, however. Of course, we found plenty of fun things to do in the town of Lake Lure. I would definitely recommend this home to others!
