Hillside Haven - Amazing views with a hot tub!

Spacious 4 bedroom log cabin with breathtaking mountain views. For those cold winter weekends, you can enjoy the hot tub and cozy gas fireplace!! Sleeps up to 10. Located 9 miles from Lake Lure and 12 miles from Chimney Rock, and an easy drive to Asheville, Mt. Mitchell State Park, and Tryon International Equestrian Center.

The space

The first floor of our 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath cabin features indoor gas fireplace, living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, a large game room with a ping pong table and 3 bedrooms, one with an attached full bath. Second floor loft features a sleeping area with private balcony, full bath, and living/game area with a foosball table and futon sofa.

Outdoors, guests love spending time on the wrap around porch, or at the fire pit with a soothing waterfall fountain.

Guest access
Guest access the entire house including a first and second floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential cookware. Washer and dryer located on the first floor in the half bathroom.

Other things to note
Cabin is supplied with upgraded high-speed WiFi for streaming multiple videos and work-from-home situations. Cell phone boosters are installed throughout the cabin to enhance cell phone coverage.

Directions
Google Maps will take you to the entrance of a shared driveway. Once you turn onto the driveway, it will go for about 50 yards before it splits. You will want to turn right and go up the hill…this way will take you directly to the cabin.

Beautiful home in a private location with stunning views and absolute privacy! Our family of 10 had a wonderful Thanksgiving and would absolutely recommend this home! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the house sleeps 10, but there is only a 4 person table. We ended up sitting at the ping pong table for Thanksgiving! The hot tub also wasn’t working, and we had chosen the house partially for that reason since we had 6 teens with us. A great surprise- the loft is WAY bigger than it looks in the photos. There were multiple blow up mattresses and plenty of room for 6 tall teens to all sleep upstairs. Highly recommend for a multi family getaway- it was beautiful!!!

Relaxing cabin with nice views

Overall, our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. I do advise people to try to arrive before dark as your GPS might send you down the wrong driveway. We enjoyed the cabin, the jacuzzi and loved the water feature next to the firepit. The only negatives were that the fireplace nor the grill were in working order. The owner did say that they are providing a credit back to our account for the inconvenience.

Excellent house and location

Group of nine of us stayed for 3 nights in late July. Enjoyed everything about the house - location, games, views, hot tub, etc.! Would highly recommend it to all.

We stayed at this property because we wanted to be secluded by the mountains but still close enough to travel to Asheville and Chimney Rock. This property was perfect. The listing was accurate and manager communication was swift. Our expectations were met. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

We loved the cabin. It was a wonderful place and everything promised was delivered. The owners were very helpful and flexible with early check in and late check out to accommodate our needs. We were thrilled with how well stocked the kitchen was to make some nice meals.

Family Christmas getaway

Great family time!

We enjoyed a great long weekend reconnecting with our four adult daughters and two of their boyfriends. It was the perfect space to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets, the fire, and fountain!
