Great place to stay while in St Thomas

I loved everything about this place. It was very near to my Aunt’s Condo so made caring for her very convenient. It is very cozy and clean and I love the stove. Now that is what I call ‘cooking with gas. ‘ Julia is a wonderful person, so helpful and kind.

Apartment is in serious need of renovation and upgrading. Walls are cracked, no hot water in Kitchen, no silverware/cutlery enough. Not even 1 table spoon for soup etc. Rosty toaster, rosty pans. Cockroaches. Window screen/mosquito nets broken. There is book with rules which are not mentioned in VRBO. No garbage / trash bins anywhere close to apartment. No cleaning service. ( we were there 2 weeks ) but no mentions of cleaning from the housekeeper. This kind property real value is max half of what they are asking. Hugely overpriced. Waste of money.

I found the property housing in EXTREEM need of repairs! No Hot water for dishes, bathroom vanity is

The [place is falling apart! Its old and needs repairs now! I would not recommend anyone to stay here! I found 3 houses in the area with the same view for $500.00 a month cheaper and a far better care and up keep on the house. Cleanliness was good as it could be for a crumbling house! Its only a matter of time before parts of the place are in the valley!

Great Location! Not luxurious but a lot to be appreciated

I stayed here for 8 weeks on assignment at the island hospital. There is an owner, but the Real hostess is Ms Julia who stays nearby. She was extremely helpful with getting acclimated to the place and the area. The initial address takes you to the school, but she will meet you to take you to the place. There are lots of stairs involved so be prepared. The pool was also not functional during my stay. It's not a fancy place like a hotel & resort, there are a few nuisances I dealt with that sort of come with living around lots of trees in a humid island climate, but go on the deck and enjoy the Beautiful view daily, and nothing's a big deal anymore. Ms Julia also was responsive to any issues I had. There are also chickens & roosters that hang out but they were friendly. Fridge is small so don't buy a lot of perishables at once. It's a convenient area, 10 mins from the hospital, even less from Charlotte Amalie waterfront & shops, and in 15ish minutes driving stretch you'll have about 7 beaches to choose to go to. 10-15 mins from many grocery stores. I would definitely stay here again!

Stairs , stairs and more stairs

There is lots of steps to the unit . So if your unable to climb stairs it’s definitely not the unit for you. Also if you don’t mind the bathroom floor being covered with water after you take your shower due to no walls surrounding the shower. And if you don’t mind the bathroom door not completely shutting or the bedroom door not shutting either . We were basically only there to sleep and shower and I cooked a couple of times . We were told their would be cable but it was just Wifi so we couldn’t watch the news . In the original posting it said you could smoke outside . So I smoked on the deck by the unfilled pooland the caretaker told me I would have to go up to the road . So that meant I would have to climb 5 flights of steps . We got a good deal on the unit but now I see where the price has gone up . Seriously wouldn’t pay anything close to 100..00 a night .

Sorry the cable want working when you were there - they had gotten there- Your review is harsh, considering you left the place a total mess I am sorry for you inconvenience
