Ideal location - very comfortable accomodations
Our family of 6 adults utilized this apt for a short stay in the area Nov 2017. The apt was very clean and filled with many thoughtful amenities for the weary traveler. The check-in/check out process's was also very efficient. The apt is located within a half a mile from the train station - making it easily walk-able for train travel. It is also close to the down town shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this apt if you are visiting the area!

Well-presented, well-located gem of an apartment
Fantastic stay, easily fit 7 of us in there. The en-suite double rooms are in wonderful condition and everything was clean and immaculately presented. It was much bigger than I had imagined, and we were able to fit 7 of us in the living room to eat comfortably. The location is fantastic - a ground floor flat, although it is on two levels. Parking was easier than I had imagined. Towels were provided. Wonderful communication, Linda answered all my questions and helped to make the stay as smooth as possible. The folder of information provided in the apartment just added to the advice she had already given.
The only issue we had was with the temperature - we couldn't figure out how to stop it being either too cold or too hot. I imagine this was more user error than anything else, though.
Great stay, would highly recommend. I look forward to staying there again!

Thanks for your kind words and wonderful that you liked our apartment and the location so much. Sorry about the heating. Guests have full control of the boiler and the room thermostat and all the radiators have their own thermostatic valves but as the weather is warming up it can be difficult to get it just right. This was a great home base for a few days in Harrogate. Lydia was very responsive and made checking in and out super easy. Would definitely stay here again!
The property was well equipped and very clean. We thought parking was going to be an issue but it wasn't. Great location for exploring Harrogate. Would book again, no question!
This was our second stay at this property. We like it because it is; roomy (3 beds and 3 en-suites), it's near the convention centre, it has ground floor access and a ground floor bedroom (for Grandma). It's tidy and clean and all linens are provided - especially loved the big fluffy white towels and the funky wallpaper! The kitchen has everything you need, except a microwave (which would have been useful). The property manager is responsive to any questions, and quick to sort out any issues, which is really excellent. All in all it's a great place to stay!
property was very convenient for centre of harrogate. comfortable and clean accommodation only problem was the shower in the double bedroom was very slow to drain away. would recommend to friends.
We stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday. Great location for Harrogate centre. Close to lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space and each with en suite along with ground floor toilet. Kitchen small and could do with more crockery for when the dishwasher is in use. Overall had a fabulous time with the family.
The apartment is in such a great location on King’s Road and Strawberry Dale. Walk around Harrogat.
The bedrooms are nice, showers are great. Decorated nicely. Easily to communicate with the owners.

Excellent location for the Convention Centre in Harrogate
This apartment if well located for the centre of town and the Convention Centre. The owner has been very helpful in replying to and accommodating our requests. Only slight niggles: the centre light in the upstairs bedroom ensuite did not work but we were able to use the vanity light so not a problem; our bed in the upstairs bedroom was not made up as two separate beds as requested and as we were an all lady party it made it slightly awkward (luckily we are good friends and the bed was very big!); some areas were in need of a paint freshen up.
The fixtures and fittings were of a good quality, with a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience for us competing at the Convention Centre was a real bonus. If you want comfortable beds in a convenient location for Harrogate centre I would highly recommend this apartment.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
The moment we arrived we all knew we had hit lucky. From booking the property, to arriving, our stay and leaving were all made so easy by the owners. Every query, question and requests were professionally catered for and answered. The property itself was outstanding! Beautiful rooms, spacious, all en suite with no noise from outside. I would like to thank the owners for taking a chance on 7 grown men and hope to book this wonderful property for years to come. We all look forward to enjoying this property again and again and again. Thank you. I would definitely recommend renting this apartment to anybody who sees it. (Just not on the dates we want it please).

Convenient for Convention Centre and Central Harrogate
The property is very convenient for Convention Centre - being just opposite. It's clean and there are lovely fluffy bath towels. It has everything you need for a short stay. The owner was very communicative during the booking process in answering questions about the property and helping with parking permits (We had two cars and there is only space for one in the car park).
The property is however rather tired and in need of maintenance and re-decoration. The kitchen holds an odd assortment of glasses and cutlery with nothing matching - but there are hundreds of plates! There were no complimentary toiletries - I rarely need them but had forgotten some stuff this time and could have done with them.
When we arrived several light bulbs were out, the TV didn't work (not good with a 5 yr old) and the TV cabinet had fallen off the wall! To be fair the owner responded very quickly and things were fixed the next day.
The rooms are fairly small and it was a squeeze turning one in to a twin bed. No drawers in the large downstairs bedroom and only a half height wardrobe (which my daughter thought was fun!). We chucked the cushions off the window seat and used that to store our clothes. Bathrooms are well fitted out but the water pressure isn't great.
I thought it was expensive for the standard of accommodation when comparing it to other self catering places we have stayed in for a similar price. We'd stay here again though for the convenience and I was pleased with the prompt response to the problems raised with the owner.

We are pleased you found the property conveniently located. We apologise for the few blown light bulbs (the maintenance issues you refer to) which we replaced next day. We do rely sometimes on guests to let us know if a bulb blows. Similarly with the TV and cabinet. A previous guest had abused the space and pulled the cabinet off the wall somehow which resulted in a broken TV. Again we rushed out and purchased a brand new larger upgraded model the next day but there were of course 3 other TVs in the property your 5 year old could have watched.
As there are 3 bathrooms in the house the water pressure may suffer if all are used at the same time, much like most homes. We do provide toiletries and I apologise if our cleaners did not top these supplies up for your stay.
We agree the decorations are a bit tired in places and we have a programme of renovations during the next few weeks. Unfortunately this property is so popular that there are not many breaks between bookings. We have already replaced the sofa in the lounge. Again with the kitchen we recently replaced all the mugs and glasses with matching sets but guests do suffer breakages which leaves us with shortages. It is pretty much impossible to stop people breaking things. Rest assured we regularly put matching sets in there as we do with all our other properties. We strive to present a high quality as you will see from many of our fittings.
We are sorry you felt it not good value. On full occupancy like your group it works out at around £30 per person and it was half term. We do not raise our prices for special events or school holidays. It is also in a prime location, all bedrooms have a large superking bed and private en suite. Free WiFi and parking are included.

Great location to visit Harrogate
We all enjoyed our stay in Strawberry apartment.
Location:- It is in a great location, a short walk from the town centre with a good range of shops and Betty's Tea Rooms (which we visited for a lovely afternoon tea). There is a small tesco nearby for forgotten bits of shopping. The parking is what you would expect from a town centre location, but we managed to use a park behind the flat and some on the road spaces (you can buy scratch off permits for the road).
Amenities:- Towels are provided. There were hair dryers in several of the rooms. The beds were comfortable. Wifi was good. There was virgin tv in the living room (there were TVs in the rooms but we didn't use them). We used the sofa bed in the living room but if we went again we'd stick to 6 people max as the bathrooms are all ensuite so those staying in the living room have to shower in one of the bedrooms and it was a little squashed.
The only two thing I could suggest as an improvement is an 'A' on the apartment door. As when we came in the building a few of us made the same mistake and went upstairs thinking the apartment's door was a store cupboard.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again if we were travelling up north!

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and the location. It is a bonus that we have the private car parking space and the availability of on street parking cards.
Apologies about the front door being missed but we do make it very clear in our joining information that when you enter the building the apartment door is directly opposite the block door on the ground floor. In fact it is the only door on the ground floor.
The apartment is best for 6 guests. All bedrooms are large with their own ensuite. If you book to use the sofa bed there is a cloakroom opposite with toilet and basin but guests using the sofa need to use one of the ensuites for a shower. Again the listing says 3 ensuite bathrooms. Should you return with a large party we also have the apartment next door with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our Strawberry suite comfortably accommodates 10 in 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms so you would have more space and not have to share for a little extra, rather than using the sofa bed. Even had the bathrooms not been ensuite those using the sofa would have had to share a bathroom.
We do hope you return for a future visit and thanks again for leaving our apartment so nice on departure.
