The room is exactly as shown in the listing! It’s small and cute but has what you need for your stay. Located in a nice area close to the beach. However, there are many stairs to get to the room so keep that in mind when you have a big luggage. Also, The hosts are very responsive and kind when you message them.

The apartment is actually on the third floor (based on USA standards). In Italy the first floor is actually considered zero 0. A bit of a surprise if you have heavy or large suitcases. There is no lift/elevator. We managed with Oliver's help. The biggest surprise and disappointment was that there was no freezer in the unit, only a refrigerator! The unit was very quiet from neighbors and Street noise. The washer was a great feature, along with the location!

Small and sweet

Though compact, the space provided most necessities and was comfortable for my husband, 18 year old daughter and myself.Location in the heart of old Monterosso was ideal for walking everywhere. Would stay here again.

Located minutes to the beach, in the heart of old town. A few minute walk to the train station or the other beach. Lots of restaurants within minutes, lots of stores within minutes. Clean and comfortable.

We loved our apartment — the balcony overlooking our tiny street, everything in walkable distance, our own little kitchen— everything we needed. Exactly right, in a charming town. Also walkable to train station.

Wonderful compact apartment on a less busy street. Has everything you need for a stay in older side of Monterosso. Need to pay attention to the stairs :) Very near to numerous restaurants, shopping and the piazza. A great place to stay.

Fantastic Stay

This apartment was the perfect location and met our needs (family of 3 with one 6 year old). Despite its small size, it had all the amenities and was comfortable for sleeping. I would highly recommend this location if you are spending time in the Cinque Terre.

We love Monterosso because of the wonderful beaches! Our stay is a short walk to the water! They supplied an umbrella for hot days! The one room efficiency has everything we need-the bed is comfy, the kitchen well supplied and air conditioning if we need it!At our age (76) the stairs get harder each year but we try to stay in shape so we can return the next year!

It is a small studio apartment up a steeper flight of stairs, that was fabulous. From the comfortable Murphy bed and the small functional kitchen which we used a lot, a washroom with a great shower and a/c. Great location in the old town , away from the boat tour groups. Bakery downstairs for morning treats with coffee.

Perfect way to "live local!" Delightful host met us to show how all the appliances work: washing machine, AC, heaters, stove/oven, refrigerator. Perfectly neat and well stocked kitchen. Warm shower. Fun balcony with street view. Shades to darken windows. TV with language options. We hiked two days, shopped the once weekly street market, cooked meals on site and felt like we were part of the community--even transported back in time for a romantic experience. We would go back without hesitation!
