About The Owner

Our family traveled to beautiful Colorado every year for our vacation and loved it so much we decided to purchase our own little piece of Heaven. We would like to share it with others so they can have the same opportunity to experience the same joy we have. We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay!

The Owner purchased this house in 2008

Why The Owner chose Rainbow Valley

We purchased this property primarily because of the absolutely breathtaking mountain views, total privacy and convenient location to many attractions.

What makes this house unique

Relaxing just seems to comes natural in our mountain home with the secluded privacy, beautiful mountain views, and fresh clean mountain air. Yet we are conveniently located near several tourist attractions in the Pikes Peak Region. The wildlife is amazing to watch from the large solar windows.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Colorado is so beautiful and your cabin was the perfect place for our 3 generation vacation! Our week just flew by with the Zoo, Cave of the Winds, Horse back riding in Garden of the Gods, white water rafting and the Flying W Ranch. We also really enjoyed the amazing scenery watching all the wildlife (deer and fawn, a large buck, a fox, chipmonks, & birds). Enjoyed playing games with the family at the cabin in the evenings. We're not really ready for our vacation to be over but the memories we made with our family will last forever! Thank you!

We had such a GREAT time! Area had just received beautiful snow before our arrival. We had a delicious early Thanksgiving dinner with family and enjoyed watching the deer. Thank you for a wonderful get away!

Beautiful private location

  • 4 of 5

This was the second year we spent at this home. Perfect location for us to visit friends in the area and enjoy our favorite Mueller State Park. More than enough space for the two of us, and can see how well it would accommodate a family. Owners are beyond fabulous to work with and they even followed up on searching for an item we felt we might have lost at the home. Occasionally saw a vehicle drive by but never saw another person!

Great house, beautiful location to get away!

  • 5 of 5

House was perfect for the 4 of us. Less than 10 minutes from nearest town. Less than an hour from Colorado Springs. Wanted a mountain vacation and this house provided! House was clean with little extras were there in case you forgot anything. Kids liked to explore the trees with lean-tos built with branches. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your wonderful home!

Beautiful clean home.

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this mountain home. I was very impressed with how clean it was and well kept. Had everything you needed. They even had coffee and creamer and soaps and shampoos. Lots of extra fans ans blankets. Games and movies. Although we did bring our own it was nice in case there was something you forgot and had to have. Beautiful view. Beautiful area. We highly recommend ans would stay there again.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to "get away from it all" and this house provided just that. We enjoyed a quick trip to historic Cripple Creek and were just 30 minutes away from whatever you wanted to do in Colorado Springs. We also spent an afternoon hiking several trails in Mueller Park (10 minute drive) and saw a dozen or so Mule deer who just watched us pass by. In the evening we loved watching the hummingbirds feed, quiet walks, and the board games provided at the cabin. There is so much to do and it was all within a 20-30 minute drive through the majestic Rockies. It was perfect...so much so my daughters were asking if we could move. A beautiful getaway in a cabin that has everything you need. We will be back!!
