This rental also includes a welcoming and extremely comfortable living area, a deluxe, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a dining table that's perfect for enjoying home cooked meals or playing a few board games. On-site, Summer House guests will enjoy access to shared pools, an extra-large hot tub, tennis courts, and a fitness center.

Less than three miles up the coast, discover fine dining, boutique shopping, and a full-featured marina offering opportunities for deep sea fishing, diving, and other watersports, all at SanRoc Cay Marina. For a day of outdoor adventure, hike or cycle the miles of trails that wind throughout nearby Alabama Gulf State Park. And find fun, family-friendly attractions at places like Adventure Island, less than a mile away, and Waterville USA, only six miles from this rental.

Things to Know
Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.
This condo allows monthly reservations from November 1 through March 1.
This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 5.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place!

We were close to the elevators and didnā€™t not hear any noise from the other guests. Plenty of space for us, beds were comfortable, tasteful decor. We enjoyed our stay. Even the guard at the gate was super friendly and helpful!

The condo was great for the most part. Our 1 year old is crawling and within the first 30 minutes her hands, elbows and feet were black from all the dirt on the floor.

Amazing condo on gorgeous beach.

We loved everything about this condo. It was furnished with all the details you need. We had 5 adults and 1 baby and had plenty of room. Clean furnishings. The view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony was more spacious than most balconies. Very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice condo, would stay here again.

Nicely decorated/updated condo with large balcony overlooking beach. Beautiful pool area, showers/hoses on walkways back from beach. We would definitely stay here again. Only room for improvement would be that there were no parking passes in condo initially, some dirty towels behind door in bathroom. Management company was a bit slow with communication, but it was a very busy time with lots of people at the beach.

Beautiful condo

The condo is beautifully decorated as advertised. Location is great. Not a long walk to the beach, that was a bonus. The master bed could use a mattress topper. Our only real complaint is the balcony door wouldnā€™t lock. We have a 4 year old who could open it. No big deal during the day. We were worried about him waking up trying to open it. I called maintenance but they never came. We will definitely stay again.

Typical Corp Owned Condo

Lots of little things wrong (lamps broken, bulbs out, loose balcony door handle) that adds up to being annoyed. Had to call service for leaking washer and dryer that had no heat, came out next day so that was fine. Nothing I'd rent again until it gets a lot more love for all the broken stuff.

The Wi-Fi did not work on the main TV. I was told to contact the Wi-Fi provider myself. I spent an hour our first night trying different things to get it to connect, and then another hour the next morning, working with the Internet provider. Two hours of my vacation time should not have been spent dealing with an issue that shouldā€™ve been handled by Vacasa. There was no parking any of the nights of our stay and I was told to park across Perdido Beach Blvd, which is a five-lane highway, and walk back over to the complex. Every day I was there, I spoke to representatives at Vacasa and the issues I had were not rectified. I asked for a late check out and was told five different times that someone would get back to me and no one ever did. I asked for partial compensation because of the troubles I experienced and I was ignored.

Voted Best Dirty Unit !!

What I loved was the direct view to the beach but interior had stained bath towels, urine color stained dining chairs and furniture. It would have been better if make up or dirt was not on the comforter and no black mold on shower curtains. It would have been nice to have a sink that does drain. We stayed in the master bedroom whole time and used our own comforter and purchased wash towels to try to be comfortable. I would highly NOT recommend this unit or the property management. The staff does not care about cleanliness, Covid-19, monkey pox nor care about good services. The furniture looks like it was on the side of the street. The pots and pans are cheapest I have ever seen. If this owner is having hard times, I pray for you to get your breakthrough. I called mgmt to clean the unit and that did not happen. I figure you were not aware so I sent pictures. Kaiser was a better property mgmt 3 years ago. The unit was very clean back then which is why I booked this time. I was very uncomfortable and stressed out over the cleaning during this stay. I expected a clean unit and to relax. I am deeply disappointed in your customer service and handling of my complaint.

Didn't meet expectations

Firstly, the Summer House looked pretty rough from the outside. Definitely needs powerwashing and paint. Stairwells were dirty and the stack of rusty shopping carts at the bottom of the stairs was surprising. Not sure why they are there and it's a bad look. As far as 502B, it was smaller than expected, but that's probably due to to huge balcony. On arrival, the condo was fairly clean except for the wrappers on the master bedroom floor, beer bottle cap on the living room rug, and stains on the comforters. All deco was very nice. We had an issue with the thermostat being locked and the air conditioning was running constantly, which made it cold in the back bedrooms. Several requests to VACASA to unlock the thermostat went no where. They said they would contact local maintenance personnel, but we were never contacted to fix the issue so we dealt with it. The AC was running constantly to the point condensation was dripping from the vents and we placed towels on the floors to prevent damage. VACASA may be a good place to use for vacation rentals, but not so much on this trip. If it wasn't for the beach and balcony were nice, but we are disappointed for the amount of money we spent.

Great vacation spot

Everything was as described and we had all we needed for a great week at the beach. More towels and a new shower curtain would have made the trip more pleasant- but no complaints! We will be back!

This condo is beautiful and we loved our stay. We did have a problem with the bathtub handle falling off. We called and reported it the first day but they didnā€™t come till about 24 hours later. In the meantime my husband got his tools from the car and fixed it himself. And the washing machine was my enemy At one time we had to trip the breaker to reset it because it acted like it didnā€™t have power. When we pushed start it would start and stop and took all day to finally get it to start lol. This was every day hahahah. Now that could have been the operator or the machine but we were enemies at the end of the stay. Other then that it was a beautiful condo
