We had a great stay - the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, extra linens available if needed, the house was clean, the deck area was lovely. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

The VRBO description was spot on, yet the accommodation over delivered. Our pups enjoyed the opportunity to have some space; I enjoyed coffee on the patio, and my husband liked being able to tune into the Braves on TV. We will definitely reach out to stay here again when coming to the area to continue our exploring.

Perfect Sewanee weekend getaway

Beautiful and quiet setting with big yard for our dog. Listing exactly as advertised; a simple space with all you need for a relaxing getaway. Conveniently close to campus. Host was extremely responsive to all questions and check in and out was a breeze. Would stay again!

Really Peaceful and Nice Stay!

I stayed here while visiting my son who is in school nearby. It was so pretty and peaceful! The house is very comfortable and the host lives right next door if you need anything. I hope I get to come again!

To be honest, i was a little uncertain when i booked but a fenced yard was needed. We were all pleasantly surprised. Super cute with excellent amenities. Efficient use of space with everything we could need. Very clean and comfortable. The large fenced yard was a perfect too.

The place was perfect for our needs. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house was well-stocked with lots of thoughtful extras. The location was convenient and so peaceful.

One Night after The Caverns

The space is well appointed, clean & comfy. It was just right for spending the night after seeing the Spoon gig at The Caverns.

We had a very nice, short stay. Perfect place for animal lovers and nice fenced in yard. Our host was very responsive and flexible and always replies almost immediately although that wasn’t my expectation. We had a problem with front door code but were able to get in back door easily. Might have been my fault. This is a mobile home and dated but thoughtfully put together and comfortable. It is GREAT if you have a furry friend or two. The back yard had a nice table chairs and I wish I had more time to enjoy it because the area is pretty and peaceful.Our reason to be in area is to attend a concern in the famous Cavern. This is a must do if you are in area. It was convenient but not real close. About 20 minute drive to Venue but the Cavern is in the middle of nowhere. There were trails close by that we will check out next time. There were stores, restaurants and gas within 2-3 miles. I would recommend and definitely stay there again. Thanks to our wonderful host.

Blue cabin

This cozy cottage was perfect for us and our dog. I think in the summer it would be even better because there is a party deck in the back. Added bonus--it feels rural but is only minutes from the interstate. The owner family are right next door, and their animals always visible and entertaining.

Absolutely loved this rental!

If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely use this rental again! Really appreciated the level of communication with the host. Very easy to access. Very clean & cozy! The fenced in yard was also really nice. The neighbor horses were a lovely surprise, too!

Comfortable and charming country retreat

What a charming, sweet, country retreat! The two bedrooms have super comfortable beds and lots of fluffy pillows and blankets. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. There are so many thoughtful touches - a well-stocked sewing kit, snacks and coffees and teas, and lots of room to stretch out. The spacious fenced in yard surrounding the cottage was the perfect place for our dog to frolic. My favorite part was sitting with a cup of coffee on the back porch looking at our hosts' horses just over the fence.I can't recommend highly enough!!

Perfectly perfect!!

Sewanee Mountain Getaway is exactly as described and pictured. It has everything you need for a long stay. I had to book short notice and Emily was super accommodating. She and Kevin have created a perfect little getaway spot. It is so peaceful and quiet. The outdoor space is perfect to wind down in the evening or even study for exams which my daughter did. It is so fun watch and pet the horses as well as their friendly dogs. Little details like starter coffee, soap, bathroom necessities, laundry detergent (the washer and dryer are a plus), dog crate if you need, and much more. Emily and Kevin are super friendly and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Immaculate

The first thing that the guest notices is the neatness of the facility.Then the cleanliness. The facility is immaculate. I am career military. I notice this. There was not even dust on the floor under the bed. This place could pass a white-glove inspection. And everything worked perfectly.Quiet. I live in a big city. I haven't been in a place this quiet since I don't know when.Communication: I called the owner with a couple of questions. She answered on the first ring and was very kind and helpful. Beds: This is a big deal. Both beds were very comfortable.Overall a delightful experience. If you are in Monteagle/Sewanee area, THIS is the place to stay.

Great for our last minute getaway!

We planned this one night stay with less than 24 hour notice! Emily was so accompanying for us to check in easily, communicated quickly and had great recommendations for the hiking trips we wanted to do! Our kiddos (6, 3 and 3) were so excited to see the horses and Emily and her husband were so friendly to let us pet them and feed them carrots. When we go back to the area in the summer, we would definitely stay back here again!
