About Jeff

Like all Sedonians, we're about outdoors! Both of us Boy Scout and Girl Scout leaders, and active with our son and daughter, we look for first excuse to head to mountains or camp. A former pilot, Jeff wants to make Sedona his retirement town. Eli, originally from Brazil, wants to bring to the area some of her culture.

Jeff purchased this house in 2004

Why Jeff chose Canyon Country & Northeast

We've been coming to Sedona for more than 2 decades, and can find no other place worldwide where peace and release come together in an awe inspiring day or week when we're allowed to be there.

What makes this house unique

Home on Apache Ln. sits 400 yards from the Oak Creek Country Club and the glory of twilight walks or early morning runs along the golf course.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just wanted to let you know my group all had a fantastic stay. We all had a great time at the house as well as taking in the surrounding area’s various attractions….some took part in lots of hiking and others like myself played a whole lot of golf. The views were truly sensational.

Very Helpful Owner, Honest and Trustworthy

  • 5 of 5

I contacted the owner of this property at the end of last year while looking for a rental in the Sedona area. Since I had not stayed at a VRBO rental before, he explained how it works to me. He was especially accommodating when I asked him to turn off the WiFi in the house due to my wireless sensitivity. My wife and I were relieved to meet someone who was interested in making us comfortable at the house. I actually consider him one of my friends now, because he took the time to correspond with me and did everything he could to reassure me that VRBO was a great site to rent from. Honest man. Thank you!

Spacious & Georgous Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

My parents, 4 kids, husband and I are from Lake St. Louis, MO and spent 3 nights at this super clean and amazing home. The house has 3 bedrooms and is just huge with plenty of beds to sleep in. The bunk beds can sleep two at the top and the bottom, plus there is a twin bed in the same room. The pool was a huge hit and my kids LOVED it! The adults all really enjoyed the pool as well! We had bonfires at night and roasted s'mores which was a lot of fun. My only suggestion for the owner (and it really is the only one) would be to get plastic cups, plates, platters, etc. for outside by the pool and fire pit. Everything in the cabinets is breakable and we felt a little uneasy taking glassware outside. The house floors are all beautifully tiled as well, and thankfully no one dropped anything.

While in Sedona, we went to Slide Rock Park and had such a great time. Jumping off the cliffs and sliding down all the rocks was awesome. We were there on June 5 and the water was chilly, but tolerable. It didn't stop anyone from getting in the water.

We rented ATV's for a half day and rode through the beautiful red rocks. The views were unbelievable and the terrain was a little scary at times going up and down steep, rocky hills, but overall fun for all. We even went through McDonald's drive through on the ATV's and ordered ice cream, which was a big hit with the kids.

One night we went to a cute little area in Sedona that I don't remember the name of and had dinner then walked along the strip to all the little shops and had ice cream too! It was a great place for souvenirs.

Overall, this home was top notch and the area is so beautiful with so much to do. We would have stayed longer, but started our week-long trip at the Grand Canyon, then stayed in Page and then here in Sedona. I'd have to say that I really enjoyed watching all my kids playing together in the pool and getting along so well. They had huge smiles on their faces and it made me the happiest mom ever! Thank you Jeff!

Family together in Sedona

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Meshinskys! We had a wonderful week long vacation with our two grown sons and their wives, and our three little granddaughters. None of them had ever visited Sedona so hadn't experienced any of the many hikes and the beauty of the red rock formations. Your beautiful pool was, of course, the highlight for the little girls. It was sparkling clean and warm with waterfalls cascading from the sides, with a large hot tub to relax in and watch the stars in the evening. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos in VRBO. The location is ideal for grocery and restaurant access, as well as easy access to many hikes. We enjoyed our evening meals on the patio, looking across the golf greens and up at the red rock cliffs. No better view in town! All too soon it was time to pack up and head back to the rains of Seattle. You couldn't have been any nicer or more responsive to any questions that we had. Can't wait to return to Sedona and your home. Thanks for sharing!

Outstanding!!

  • 5 of 5

We felt that the pictures do not do this home justice. We have stayed at many vacation homes through the years and this was by far one of the best. The house was open, comfortable and well stocked with all of the cooking necessities, towels and bed linens. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are several patio areas that we enjoyed while drinking coffee in the mornings or grilling in the evenings. The views of the red rocks were stunning. The pool was beautiful with a splash area for kids and a ramp for my mother in law to safely walk down. Jeff, the owner, was very friendly and checked on us to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We highly recommend this house for all!!!

Owner's Response: Kristy - thanks so much for the kinds words and it was coincidental that I happened to be in town. And thanks for noticing that ramp in the pool - - I planned that initially for myself and my small kids and figured others would enjoy it too (but I didn't think about the convenience to elderly also). Looking forward to having you return.

Fantastic Experience

  • 5 of 5

This home was the setting of a PERFECT getaway. While the stay in Sedona was colder than expected, the home provided plenty of comfort with a master bedroom and hot tub set against a gorgeous view of red rock mountains, blanketed with snow. It's local was great for taking day trips to Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, Jerome, and exploring Sedona while having plenty of time to end the evening warming up in the steam shower built for two, or relaxing in the hot tub as the sun set. I highly recommend this home that was complete with every amenity to make it more like a home than just a vacation spot. Perfect for family or romantic getaway, would jump at opportunity to stay here again.

Owner's Response: S & B - so glad you all had a good time and enjoyed yourselves. We particularly like to cater to "returners" such as yourselves (since your brother's family had visited one of our 3 Sedona homes two years ago). Keep coming back and thanks again.
