The house was a perfect place for us to gather for the holiday while in town! It was very well appointed and plenty of room for the 5 of us to sleep!

Overall, the property was nice. It was a quaint, old home. It could have been a little more presentable, but was still a good place to stay for the 5 of us. Before we arrived, the host notified us of a couple issues, and she took care of these issues in the best and quickest way possible, which was appreciated.

Four out of five stars for Cleanliness is not an accurate reflection… more like A instead of A, 9 stars out of 10. Well-appointed, charming property and a responsive host made for a LOVELY stay in Ottawa Hills. Prepare for some manageable but noticeable STEPS in this vintage gem (full disclosure, I live in a ranch). Now that I’ve moved my parents from their Toledo home of 55 years, so nice to find a place to stay and while visiting. Big points for exceptional walks with my dog in the beautiful neighborhood.

Will stay again

Wonderful to have a home to stay in while visiting other family. There is a second parlor bath in the basement that was helpful for our group!

Perfect and quaint!

Lovely home with old style charm. Comfortable beds, quiet community, and well stocked. Lots of fun older house features, the place was perfect for a belated Christmas family gathering. Would stay again!

Great time with our granddaughters!

The house layout and location were exactly what we wanted. We were close to family, restaurants and shopping. The girls were very comfortable and we had great time!

Great Location!

Great location and awesome backyard as well...spacious and well appointed kitchen. The 1/2 bath in the basement was appreciated. We'd stay there again. UofT and Stranahan are close by!

Beautiful & quiet

Laura was a great host! We had everything we needed and the house was perfect! It is located in a quiet neighborhood and fairly close to pretty much anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Meeting people from near and far and being a part of their vacations, work and family visits is a joy.

My cousins actually live in this neighborhood, and their children went to the award winning schools. It is safe with it's own police department. People are friendly like a small town, yet it's located in the middle of a good-sized city. This house is modest in comparison to the expansive family homes and mini-mansions you'll find just behind it. It's a lovely walk to just tour the neighborhood with it's towering mature trees and lush landscape.

This house is unique because it still retains much of it's 1920's character. The arched doorways, exquisite woodwork, lovely stained glass, double-fire place and original light fixtures give it warm and charm you won't find in many vacation homes in the area. That coupled with the serene, lovely neighborhood make staying in our property a delight.
