Trout Creek is just a short 10-20 minute drive to the resort towns of Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Mackinaw City is only a 30 minute drive where you can hop on the ferry to Mackinac Island. Access to Lake Michigan at the Petoskey State Park is only a 7 minute drive. Trout Creek is surrounded by golf courses and located next to Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob ski resorts. Birding trails, biking, boating and so much more all nearby.

We had a very nice stay at this property! We liked being close to one of the indoor pools with hot tub and also the outdoor pool. The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking and was also stocked with trash bags, paper towel etc. which you don’t always get. Our only complaint which is pretty minor is that there were no pillowcases for the extra pillows. We had to buy some at Meijer. We would definitely recommend this property to other families!

Loved that the balconies overlooked the quiet pons. Location close to playground/field/pools for kiddos. Besides the cigar ashes and dead bird on the deck, was a nice place.

During the summer, there are some condos on the ground level that you can access the condo by going through the sliding door. They are smaller units, if that works for you and your family. The condo was very clean and well-appointed . We had 6 women in our group and everyone had their own bed (all of the beds were very comfortable!). There was a good supply of dishes, silverware, and glassware. The condo was quiet, nicely decorated and perfect for sitting and talking. We loved it!
