El Golden Sky-Villa Eleni es una villa de lujo con tonos de estilo clásico. Los colores relajantes en los tonos marrón y beige y los detalles meticulosos en la decoración pueden crear un ambiente relajante.

Es adecuado para 2-4 personas y cuenta con 2 habitaciones lujosamente equipadas, 1 baño con ducha y una cocina totalmente equipada. La elegante sala de estar con un sentido elegante y glamuroso puede encantar el ojo del espectador. El área al aire libre cuenta con una piscina privada con modernos muebles blancos, hamacas, barbacoa y un hermoso jardín como un "Paraíso". La vista al mar de Libia puede ofrecer momentos de relax y satisfacer a los huéspedes más exigentes.

Ubicado en una zona tranquila en el pueblo de Kamilari, uno de los pueblos más famosos de Creta, está cerca de playas increíbles como Kalamaki, Matala y Komos. En el área cercana, puede encontrar muchos restaurantes deseables con deliciosa comida tradicional de Creta, sitios arqueológicos como Phaistos y museos. Por la noche, puede disfrutar de una bebida en los lugares tradicionales y acogedores de Kamilari y los más aventureros pueden probar la vida nocturna en Matala.

A great holiday house.

We just arrived home after a fantastic holiday in Kamilari. A very charming town with several, really good restaurants, we especially liked Taverna Loggia, The Lamb House and Taverna Kelari.We were greated by George at the villa, he showed us around and gave us the key. The villa is really beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It is very clean and they provide pool towels that you can use by the beautiful pool. There are two seating areas and four comfortable sunbeds.The refridgerator was stocked with water, beers, feta cheese, yoghurt, jam and bread. There was local honey, chips and other snacks ready for us to enjoy. During our stay, George, Maria and their son did everything they could to make sure we had the best holiday possible.Maria made us mousaka and brought it to us - it was delicious and one night their son and his friend brought us freshly grilled Lamb- and pork chops.We only have good things to say about these wonderful people who made our holiday perfect.We would love to come back another time.We had rented a car at Chania airport and drove to Kamilari, we would say that a car is needed - especially if you want to go sightseeing. We went to Rethymno, Knossos, Phaistos - there is a Minoan palace there too, it is smaller than Knossos, but worth a visit.

Beautiful villa with stunning garden & views

The villa is immaculately clean with everything you need and the garden is stunning with a beautiful pool and stunning views. George and Maria reply to communications promptly and have been a fantastic help, even organising a transfer from Chania airport as we were not hiring a car. I would not hesitate to book this villa!! We managed to walk to local restaurants but a car would be helpful. Thanks again to George & Maria - a 5 star villa and service.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Pool und atemberaubender Aussicht

Wir waren für eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus. Wie die anderen Bewertungen bereits erwähnen, war im Kühlschrank eine Flasche Wein und lokaler Schnapps. Ausserdem wahren verschiedene lokale Spezialitäten zum Essen vorhanden. Wir wurden sehr herzhaft empfangen, Check-In war: "Da ist der Schlüssel, geniesst die Zeit". :-) Alles sehr sauber. Kein Ungeziefer. Der Pool und Aussenbereich ist der Hammer und bietet absolute Privatsphäre, Pizza-Ofen funktioniert super :-) Küche vollausgestattet, auch wir haben mit Kind den Sandwich-Toaster jeden Tag benutzt :-), die Schlafzimmer sind sehr ruhig und dank Klimmananlage fällt das Schlafen auch bei 38 Grad Aussentemperatur sehr leicht. Der Pool war für unseren Geschmack etwas kühl. Sehr gute Restaurants findet man mit Google-Maps in der nähe. Prädikat "sehr empfehlenswert".

Das Ferienhaus war super sauber, mehr als üblich, die Gastgeber sind super zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und kümmern sich toll um Gäste und Objekt. Wir fanden bei Ankunft neben Wasser und Obst auch kretische Produkte vor, Küchenausstattung TOP, inkl. Bosch-Kapsel-Maschine, Saftpresse, Sandwich-Maker. Lieben Dank an George, Helen und die ganze Familie. Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt :-)

Tolles Haus

Wir hatten eine super schöne Woche in einem wunderbar sauberen Haus, wo man sich gleich beim reinkommen wohl fühlte. Selbst die Handtücher rochen herrlich frisch. Der Außenbereich war super gepflegt uns fehlte es an nichts. Der Weitblick Richtung Meer fehlt uns aber jetzt schon. Vielen Dank für die nette Vorort Betreuung durch Eleni und ihren Vater und danke an die Mama für das leckere Moussaka. Danke auch an die perfekte Kommunikation mit Maria es war herrlich.

Lovely Villa in Relaxing location!

George and his family have a lovely villa and from the moment we landed they were great in ensuring we had a lovely time throughout the holiday. The villa is very clean and well kept on a hill overlooking the bay by Kalamaki. The villa has all the things you need and the children especially liked the toasted sandwich maker (!). The pool was just the right size and kept nice and clean for the 2 weeks. A car is a must and we had a great time exploring the different beaches, towns and sites in the local area and the local town of Kamilari has an excellent shop with all you need including a butchers at the back (great for the BBQ food!).The beach at Kommos was our favourite and it was great to be able to spend the day there and come back to the villa for the kids to cool off in the pool. We used the BBQ at the villa which George had prepared with the necessary coal and tools etc however it was quite windy for some of the stay and we weren't able to use it too often. Overall we had a great holiday, the kids (5 & 7) really enjoyed it and we would definitely have the location and this villa on the list for a return visit. Thanks again to George and family for a lovely holiday!

Wonderful place

We enjoyed our holidays at kamilari. The villa is beautiful in a quiet area and lovely village. The owner and his family are very kind. We recommend this wondeful place.

Lovely stay!

The villa was beautiful! Wonderfully clean (the cleanest rental property we have ever stated at). We were made to feel very welcome and the homemade gifts were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The views from the outside the villa were spectacular - a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Thank you very much.

A dream holiday - really perfect - we will come back :-)

The villa was just perfect and left nothing to be desired. We loved the tasteful equipped and well-kept Villa Eleni, which was decorated with great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable, which is important for us to have relaxing holidays. In each room there was an air condition, but we didn‘t need it, because the house is obviously very well insulated. Insect screens are installed in front of each window, so we had no problems with mosquitoes in the house. In addition, almost all windows are equipped with electric roller shutters. The kitchen is outstanding, even an electric orange juice press is available. We, as coffee drinkers, especially the Tassimo coffee machine and the pot for Greek coffee was enthusiastic. There were even a lot of coffee and milk capsules for it. We also found water, delicious honey from the own beekeeping, homemade orange marmalade, rusk, bottle of wine, olive oil, sugar, salt and lots of other spices. The garden with the (evenly illuminated) pool is fantastically beautiful. The view of the sea and the mountains is breathtaking. There is enough seating, a brick barbecue and a pizza oven – perfect! The location of the house is great. The nice village Kamilari is very close, where there are some recommendable taverns as well as a small supermarket. The beautiful beaches in Matala or Komos can also be reached quickly by car. The friendliness of the people, whether in the supermarkets, in the taverns or in the neighborhood, was also outstanding. But above all the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner oft he villa, Georgis, impressed us deeply. Although - due to a suitcase problem at the airport – we arrived at 00:30 o’clock in the night, Georgis was already there. Despite the late arrival, he welcomed us very kindly and showed us the house. He was very helpful during our entire vacation, to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Whether regarding information about house and garden, recommendations to tavernas or tips on excursions, Georgis was always available with its nice, friendly and helpful behaviour. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him and his family. It were fantastic holidays and we would like to come back as soon as possible!

very nice house and surroundings

Giorgos and his family make you feel realy welcome. The place looks even better than on the foto's! Very clean/new/well maintained. Pool and house cleaned every 4 days. Comfortable beds and a silend airco in every room. We had a very pleasant stay with our 17/19 year daughters. Little town is 2 min by car and has supermarket and plenty top restaurants. Tip: for nice sunset go to the Bunga Bunga bar/restaurant on the beach dir. Matala (10 min by car) We would highly recomment this property

Excellent, well equipped villa in lovely village.

The villa is very well layed out, tastefully decorated and very well equipped with climate control, comfortable beds, storage space, a spacious living area and a kitchen with everything you could need. The outside space really makes it though. There's a small paddling pool and a reasonably sized pool of 1.5m uniform depth which we used every day. Around the pool there is large space with a huge table, plenty of seating and quality sun loungers. There's also a great outside cooking area with huge BBQ and pizza oven. There are views to the mountains and the sea and olive groves all around. We arrived in the evening and straight away experienced the warmth and hospitality of the Cretan people, right from the people in the car hire place (a car is essential), to our host Georgos who was attentive, considerate and an all round gentleman with a lovely family. We got a bit lost when we arrived in the village and he even came out to look for us. The village is a 10 minute walk down hill from the villa and we loved Kamilari. It's pretty, has an authentic, natural feel and the people are friendly. There is a small supermarket and several nice restaurants and tavernas of which our favourite is 'Melonas', which served great value, nice food, most of which is produced locally on the owners farm. There are plenty of things to do nearby. We headed into the mountains to the place where the local spring water is produced (Zaros) and there's a 2km walk to a monastery which our 5 year old managed easily enough. The beaches of Kalamaki and Kommos are a very short drive (Kommos had waves big enough for surfing) but we like Matala where the sea was still and you could dive off the rocks of the Neolithic caves which were used as tombs by Romans and more recently, rooms for hippies in the 70s including Joni Mitchell. The town still retains a bit of a hippy vibe! The smaller roads in the south can be a little rough if you want to get off the beaten track. We were glad to have hired a 4x4 but you can get around fine without one. All in all a great villa which we would highly recommend and to which we hope to return. The temperature was 26 in the day (2nd week of October) and still warm in the evenings for outdoor dining. Kalimari and the surrounding area was just what we wanted, plenty to do but quiet and relaxed.

Amazing

Fabulous villa!

We stayed at this villa for a week from the 9th August. We were greeted by Giorgos and his family who were lovely and helpful with pre-holiday info and so welcoming during our stay. (The welcome pack included a lovely bottle of wine and honey from their family farm)! It is a really lovely villa, very modern and comfortable inside, but it's the outside space that we never wanted to move from. It's amazing! Great pool, gorgeous views of the sea and the sun going down over the headlands. Plenty of shade for most of the day and lots of outdoor furniture to sit or sunbathe or eat outside. Really lovely. The villa is also an easy downhill 10 min walk to the village (although the walking is mostly on an unfinished road so a torch is useful). Lots of lovely places to eat, or just get a beer/cocktail. Some craft shops and s supermarket in the village too. Several sandy beaches within about a 5-10min drive, lots to pick from. The phaestos palace was worth a visit. Great villa! Thanks for a lovely stay!
