Cozy rural cabin near Texas A&M University

Rural property just 30 minutes from The Texas A&M University campus. Log cabin built in 2021 is set in a former Christmas tree farm for added charm. The property owners are nearby if you need assistance but are not intrusive. Firepit and BBQ areas are located near a covered porch complete with rocking chairs. Great views of the night sky. No internet, just peace and quiet. Full kitchen and large dining table. Sleeps 12 (10 adults, 2 children). Perfect for a corporate retreat, after an Aggie game or other family event up to 20 people. Events must be approved by the property owner prior to booking. Underage drinking is not permitted.

The Cabin is amazing! More than we were expecting and it felt like home. Rooms were spacious and comfortable! The host was even promt and helpful when the neighbor's dog scared the kids one morning.

The Cabin is a beautiful and quiet rural gem. Perfect place to unplug and recharge. We used it during a tournament weekend so the social detox was just what we needed. Will ABSOLUTELY be back.

It was absolutely amazing. The property was so much bigger than expected. You go to different parts of the property and it looked like being on a totally different property. It was well kept and gorgeous, and we will absolutely be returning.

This is a delightful cabin perfect for a relaxing and slow-paced vacation. It’s far enough out the be quiet and close enough to town for shopping and the like. The host was friendly and responsive to messages. We had a lovely stay!

This is a gorgeous property and home. We had an excellent stay. We loved watching the deer in the morning and saw lots of rabbits and even an armadillo at night. This place is so peaceful and serene.

We had a great time at this property, it was clean and organized, and ample open space outside with a wooden pergola and a fire pit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in staying here!

For the past several years we have come here for Thanksgiving and once in the spring and it is consistently clean and comfortable. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get out in the country away from road noise. A great place to recenter. 7 of us went the first few times, 8 the last couple and we have always been comfortable.
