What a wonderful villa. Perfect for our holiday. Amazing views and a gorgeous heated pool set in decadent gardens. Villa is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The best nights sleep I have had away from home. Pillows and mattress divine. Michael is a gem of a host, always available to help but incredibly discreet and we enjoyed our chats with him. The pool and outdoor living space were the hi lights for us. I highly recommend to stay here. You will not be disappointed. We are looking forward to returning.Lisa x

OMG! What a jewel in Spain Property: Absolutely stunning and very well equipped, a home from home! Very comfortable with everything you need and more for your stay.Host: Michael is an amazing host, non-intrusive and very knowledgeable of the area, couldn't do enough for you. Area: In the mountains with breath taking views, a local bar/restaurant within a 3min walk, that does good food, and attentative staff. Denia nearby - local port/marina - a place to visit. Supermarkets within 14mins drive. Summary: If you are looking for somewhere to relax, chill and recouperate, this is the place! Michael - thank you so much for an amazing stay, we have already booked up to return next year ...... so looking forward to it Our best Holiday ever and by far - the best property we have stayed in (have stayed in many)

Perfect house

We had a very nice week at this place. The house was exceptionally clean and organised. You can find everything you need. The pool area is totally private and away from other eyes. The owner was very friendly. And the view was amazing.

Fantastic villa - highly recommend

Michael made the stay fantastic from start to finish. From booking to our arrival and our departure. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa has everything you need and more. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a day in the sun. Would recommend to anyone. We hope to book again for next year.

A Slice of Paradise

It would be hard for this review not to descend into a litany of superlatives. The house was amazing. Scrupulously clean, fantastically equipped and Michael as a host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The peace and tranquillity was truly unforgettable. We will definitely try to return in the future.

Fantastic getaway, v quiet location, everything you would possibly need was provided. Lovely pool, great for a peaceful relaxation. Ideal for two couples but probably not suitable for a family, but this is stated in the description. Michael v. friendly host who kept his distance after initial intro. Only suggestion would be a one-way see-thru screen in the downstairs bedroom when you open the curtains - nearly got caught out dressing/changing when Michael walked past a couple of times, and we didn't want to have to keep the curtains closed.

Clean, crisp, modern and fantastic view

There are no caveats, its as lovely as it looks and sounds. When I am looking at the photos and description of a possible rental place I'm trying to figure out what's missing in a description, or whether there's disappointment lurking outside the photo's view? Well don't bother; this place is great! The pool is lovely, but we didn't get in it in mid March. The owner's house is off to the side in the photos, what you see in the photos is all yours. The beds feel new and are comfortable, everything is a nice size to spread yourselves out a bit. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom leads out into the gated pool area, it is just separate enough from the living area and other bedroom that two couples can have together space and separate space. I think its a great arrangement. The villa is in a very quiet and attractive residential subdivision up a hillside from the town. You want a car to get round the area, and if you rent a manual you'll need to use the clutch. The instructions to the villa are easy to follow, and even tell you when you should be in first gear (one corner). The road is a proper width for two way traffic, as are all the roads you need to drive on in the area. However there isn't much traffic at all until you hit the coast 16 km away. There is a grocery store in the town at the bottom of the development, another larger one 4 km away in one direction and a large mall 7 km in the other direction. The motorway is by the mall and you can get to Valencia or Alicante in less than an hour for less than 10 Euros toll. There are all the appliances you could reasonably want, they are spotless, and they work. Michael will point you towards some really nice restaurants in the area, lovely atmosphere and food, and they are great value. Ask for directions, the Satnav in our car was easily fooled, Google Maps were better, but Michael knows the local landmarks that make finding things easy. The dogs ( in a couple of the photos) liked to watch us coming and going from a window in the owner's property but were very well behaved and out of the way the whole time. ... and you will never tire of the view.

Paz y tranquilidad.

Esta es nuestra tercera vez y, como las otras veces, todo fue perfecto. Este último año, tanto para mi mujer como para mi, ha sido familiarmente doloroso y complicado y ha sido aquí, en la villa, donde hemos conseguido la paz y la tranquilidad que tanto necesitábamos... La villa está perfecta, con todo lo necesario y lista para su disfrute. Limpia, moderna, bien mantenida y cuidada muy discreta, sin ruidos y con mucha privacidad. El patio es muy bonito y espacioso, es un placer el poder estar ahí tomando el sol o leyendo un libro rodeado de sus numerosas plantas y flores... La piscina es enorme, está muy limpia y es una gozada el poder estar dentro de ella y nadar un rato. Las vistas son preciosas, los amaneceres preciosos...Vamos, que no me cansaría de echar flores a la casita... El dueño, Michael, un tío muy majo, amable, discreto, educado y atento a lo que pudieras necesitar. Una buena persona 100% legal que te da absoluta privacidad...Muchas gracias por todo, un abrazo tanto a ti como a tus perros Leyla y Zak.

Een heerlijke vakantie

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in het huis van Michael. Hij woont naast het verhuurde huis, zorgt ervoor dat er niets ontbreekt maar is tegelijk ook zeer discreet. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en een fantastisch zwembad. Ook de omgeving is mooi en je kunt vanuit de urbanisatie overal snel zijn. Een auto is wel nodig. We komen in 2025 terug!

Es stimmte alles, was in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft angegeben ist. Wir könnten uns sehr gut erholen, Michael war immer da, wenn wir fragen hatten. Im übrigen können Reisende aus Europa direkt mit Michael Kontakt aufnehmen, um den Betrag in Euro und nicht in GBP zu bezahlen. braucht man nicht unbedingt zu kaufen, die Anlage hat einen zentralen Filter.

Remanso de paz.

Tras un complicado año, aquí encontramos el remanso de paz que buscábamos. Tanto la villa como la ubicación es perfecta y en ella encontramos la paz, relajamiento e intimidad que tanto necesitábamos. Villa muy bien ubicada, con buenas vistas, tranquila, sin ruidos ni de coches ni de vecinos. Todo estaba decorado con buen gusto, muy limpio, ordenado y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia sin preocupaciones. El patio junto con su enorme piscina, un auténtico lujo, lleno de plantas y bonitas flores...Un auténtico placer el desayunar allí escuchando a los pájaros y, si madrugas un poco, también poder disfrutar de los coloridos amaneceres que puedes ver tanto de la habitación como desde la entrada de la casa. Y que decir de Michael, el propietario, perfecto. Muy educado, atento , amable, discreto y siempre dispuesto en ayudarte en caso de necesidad. Una muy buena persona, y el amigo que a todos nos gustaría tener. En resumen, que si la vida nos lo permite, sin dudarlo regresaremos el año que viene. Gracias por todo.

Soleil avec maison exceptionnelle puis tapas

Lieu ideal pour le repos accompagné de silence et tranquillité. Nul doute que Michael y contribue pleinement. Totalement disponible et courtois afin de rendre le séjour serein et sans stress. Nous nous sommes baignés dans une piscine toujours bien entretenue par Michael. Et la maison n'est pas en reste puisque rien ne manque afin de cuisiner, et les chambres sont équipées d'excellents lits et de salles de bains privées. Les seules préoccupations sont de se demander quoi visiter et surtout de dénicher de nouveaux bar a tapas. Magiques les tapas a Dénia. Et lorsque vous revenez a la maison , c'est devant le panorama époustouflant de la vue mer que vous prenez votre dernière...tisane ! Une adresse que nous recommandons sans aucune réserve.

La estancia generalmente fue genial! Hubo unas visitas nocturnas un poco incómodas, en las que un par de ratitas venían buscando comida al jardín (algo entendible con respecto a la ubicación que tiene, está en mitad de la montaña), recomendamos no dejar comida por la zona exterior para evitar su reclamo. Todo está limpísimo y muy cuidado. En nuestra opinión, comparando con otros alojamientos vacacionales en los que hemos estado, no le falta detalle para que tú comodidad sea óptima. Repetiría sin duda! Ah! Las vistas son impresionantes, y la tranquilidad que se respira en la zona también.

Alojamiento maravilloso, muy limpio y muy bien cuidado. La vivienda tiene todo lo que te puedas imaginar y necesitar para disfrutar de la estancia al 100%. En las fotos se aprecia que la vivienda es muy bonita pero en vivo la vivienda es mucho mejor y se aprecia lo maravillosa y fantástica que es. Si se busca paz, tranquilidad e intimidad, este alojamiento es perfecto. Es un placer el levantarse por las mañanas y poder disfrutar de las preciosas vistas que ofrece, ver amanecer, desayunar en su bonito y tranquilo patio rodeado de flores y plantas, poder disfrutar de su enorme piscina...Relajación total.. El propietario es muy simpático, atento, educado, discreto y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte en caso de necesidad. En resumen, una maravilla en un entorno de película.

Hello, my name is Michael and I am the proud owner of the casita that you have just looked at. I also live next door. I moved to Spain 16 years ago initially on a 'try it and see' basis. My plans changed and instead of moving to Javea I was offered a property inland. My initial disappointment changed the moment I arrived. The countryside and the people are fantastic. Here I can live in the real Spain without all the tourists! If I want that, a quick drive takes me to the bustle of the coastal towns. So my move to this property was based on the pleasure of living in the peace and quiet, but all the other options available to me within a few minutes drive.

So whilst I am here to welcome you , I am on hand for any help or information you may need (while being aware of your need for privacy).

Why they chose this property

The North Costa Blanca (Marina Alta) provides the very best environment for healthy living and natural beauty. The joy of seeing the stars at night as there is no air pollution to hide them! The mountainous landscape with rich green valleys. The heady scent of orange blossom. The Med and its sandy beaches. The quaint little Spanish villages. The food, the wine and the people................. OK I could go on, but this really is one of the most beautiful parts of the world and my decision to move here was very easy. Living on top of a mountain enables one to enjoy the breathtaking vista of the sea, mountains, valley, orange groves and the little villages clinging to the foothills. With the changing light the view never ceases to change. It provides a real 'get away from it all' feel.

What makes this property unique

It's an interesting mix of peace and quiet, but without being isolated. Take in the views and decide which part of this beautiful area to go and see more of. This villa feels different from many others because it's the right size for a holiday home - space and comforts, but no unnecessary wasted space. The private enclosed 9x5m pool is, of course, a real pleasure. But should you feel the need for a bigger pool the Pool Bar just down the road is freely available, or it's just a 15 minute drive to the sea. The Pool Bar also provides snacks and evening meals as well as a tennis court!

With the unspoiled countryside and mountain ranges this part of the world is perfect for walkers or cyclists. There are organised trips available or one can make own arrangements.
