Great apartment for two

The apartment has a wonderful view over bay and is walking distance to Letojanni Cree, bars and resaurants. Good parking and a good central spot for exploring Sicily. Carmen was a great hostess.

Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting!

We loved our stay in this spotless apartment just a short walk from the beach, yet tucked away The highlight for us was the verandah over looking the sea and surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed many meals and glasses of wine al fresco! Carmen was very helpful and kindly met us at the station then showed us around. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment!

Relaxing

Villa Jasmine is relaxing and comfortable, the outside space to sit and take in the view is lovely. The Villa is well equipt, beach towels included and lovely hot water for a refreshing shower, we had everything we needed to make our holiday. It is within easy walking distance of the beach and restaurants so no stress of driving required, but far enough away to be peaceful. Carmen is welcoming and informative. I would recommend to couples.

Orange Blossom and Sea Views

We loved our stay in this bijoux apartment. The scent of orange blossom and the sound of some inquisitive geese greeted us. And then we turned the corner of the house and saw the blue sea and sky and Taormina in the distance. The apartment is well set up and clean and perfect for two. Our hostess was very helpful. And the bathroom was enormous, modern and appreciated. Great location. Short stroll to the seafront and into the streets of Letojanni that has everything you need. For us, a much better option than staying in Taormina. But you need a car. We would happily stay there again.

Verhouding Prijs/Kwaliteit zeer slecht

Dit appartement is zeker niet geschikt voor 4 personen. Veel basis uitrustingen in de keuken ontbreken! Zoals, oven, vaatwasser en damkap. Keukengerei, zoals bierglazen, ijscoupes, ijsschepper, messenslijper, fruitpers, aardappelschiller., enz. Het zicht vanop terras wordt belemmerd door bomen. Geen enkele comfortabele tuinzetel, noch club in het appartement. Het bed is plankhard. Voor de betaalde prijs hadden wij meer verwacht!

Beste gasten, het spijt ons dat het huis niet aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. U heeft tijdens uw verblijf nooit uw kritiek aan mij meegedeeld. De beschrijving van het appartement dat u heeft gekozen voor uw verblijf is heel duidelijk en er wordt geen melding gemaakt van een vaatwasser of oven. Ik heb ook gelezen dat u geen bierglazen, aardappelmesje, fruitpers en ijsmachine hebt gevonden in de keuken. De keuken is uitgerust met al deze items behalve bierglazen en whiskyglazen, maar er zijn wel water, wijn en champagneglazen. Het uitzicht wordt niet bedekt door de planten zoals u in uw beoordeling aangeeft en op het terras zijn maar liefst zes zitplaatsen. Ik begrijp ook niet waarom het huis niet geschikt is voor 4 personen als u maar met twee personen was. Ik denk dat u de beoordeling voor het verkeerde huis geschreven heeft. Wat betreft het matras, we krijgen hier constant complimenten over, al is dat natuurlijk persoonlijk! Met vriendelijke groeten

Séjour sympa !

La ville jasmine est bien située sur les hauteurs de Letojanni, pas très loin de la grand route et de la voie ferrée mais ce n’est pas du tout une nuisance car on tourne le dos à tout ça pour une toute mignonne terrasse arborée avec très belle vue sur la mer. En deux minutes on est à la plage, en 10 au centre du village ! Taormina a 5’ en voiture, l’Etna a une heure... super facile d’acces et y compris pour se garer... Carmen nous a très bien accueillis et qui plus est en français ! Et très bien conseillés aussi sur les lieux à visiter dans le coin. Elle a pris du temps pour nous, c’etait Très agréable. La petite villa est simple mais bien équipée, charmante. Seul bémol mais important quand même, la literie mériterait d’être renouvelée, matelas très dur et dont on sent bien les ressorts... mais sinon nous avons passé un super séjour.

Terrazza con vista su Taormina

Appartamento molto curato e pulito, con terrazza vista mare in cui mangiare. Ottima posizione per visitare Etna, gole Alcantara, Taormina. Carino anche il paese e spiaggia vicina in cui fare un bel bagno dopo le escursioni. La signora Carmen è stata gentilissima e ci ha dato ottimi consigli per il nostro soggiorno.

Toller Blick auf Taormina, Wohnung schön, nicht ganz leise

Professionell von Carmen empfangen, hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt in der netten kleinen Wohnung. Die Nachbarn links, rechts und vorne waren entweder gar nicht da oder sehr ruhig (Wochenenddomizile?), dafür gab es genug Unterhaltung durch die (Wach-) Gänse, Hähne, und Schafe von hinten. Der Lärm von der nahegelegenen Hauptstraße A18 macht sich je nach Windrichtung deutlich oder weniger deutlich bemerkbar. Das betrifft allerdings den ganzen Ort Letojanni. Das Haus selbst ist völlig ab vom Ortsverkehr und man ist ganz für sich. Der Strand ist schnell zu erreichen, die 60 Meter sind aber beschönigte Luftlinie. Das Bett war uns ein bisschen schmal und vor allem zu hart, aber für eine Woche lässt sich das schon aushalten. Das Bad ist neu und die Dusche echt ein Highlight. Es gibt kleine Qualitätsschwächen, aber damit kann man schon leben. Küche in Ordnung, ein Licht an der Arbeitsfläche wäre nicht schlecht. Der tolle Blick von der kleinen Terrasse auf Taormina an der Banane vorbei und die gute Einrichtung entschädigen für steife Glieder und die Wohnung ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Taormina und ins Ätna-Gebiet. Der Ort Letojanni ist in der Nachsaison recht gemütlich, mit guter Restaurant-Infrastuktur direkt am Strand, kleinen Läden und tollen Gelaterias und der empfehlenswerten Niny-Bar. Bequem können da 2 Leute wohnen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, jederzeit gerne wieder

Im Prinzip haben wir eine schöne und ansprechende Unterkunft vorgefunden. Die Lage ist zwar nicht so wie beschrieben: im Text steht "50 m bis zum Strand". Es sind aber eher 250 Meter. Das macht aber nichts. Ein kleiner Spaziergang ist kein Problem. Das Appartment liegt sehr günstig. Am Ortsrand hat man keinen Verkehrslärm, ist aber in 15 Minuten zu Fuß in der Ortsmitte, wo man die Quahl der Wahl hat. Wir konnten nicht alle Restaurants und Eiscafes testen, haben aber kein einziges Mal schlecht gegessen. Noch ein paar Worte zum Appartment: - es könnte ein bisschen überarbeitet werden. Das eine oder andere sollte repariert werden (Klodeckel wackelt , Bezug der Liegestühle eingerissen, Sonnenschirm kaputt) - wenn man selber kochen möchte, sollte man sich ein paar gute Messer einpacken - es gibt keinen Backofen, obwohl er in der Beschreibung aufgeführt wird - Kaffee kochen ist problematisch. Es gibt zwei von diesen typischen italienischen Kaffekochern, die man auf den Herd stellt, um Kaffee zu kochen. Allerdings erzeugt ein Kocher lediglich einen kleinen Espresso. Für uns als Kaffeetrinker war es eine Herausforderung genügend Kaffee zu produzieren, da die Kaffeekocher sauheiß werden und man es fast nicht schafft, eine zweite Ladung Kaffee zu produzieren ohne sich die Finger gehörig zu verbrennen. Hier wäre eine ordentliche Kaffeemaschine angebracht. Besonders positiv möchten wir Carmens Freundlichkeit hervorheben. Sie hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und sofort mit wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Außerdem wurde nach einer Woche die komplette Wäsche (Bettwäsche und Handtücher) ausgetauscht und die Wohnung aufgewischt. Alles in allem können wir das Appartement nur empfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beautiful typical Sicilian house with amazing views

Carmen, the owner of the property is just amazing! Really helpful and kind. The location of the property is perfect for the beach, local shops and public transport if needed. The house is also equipped with everything you need. Air conditioning in the bedroom makes the whole house cool. Bathroom is lovely and modern and all linen provided is of high quality. We had a wonderful time and will be sure to return.

Romantic Place

we stayed for two weeks in this lovely apartment. It is 50 meters from the beach. The beach is very long and beautiful. You have a beautiful view from the terrace. The apartment is nice. The Bathroom is new. The Kitchen also and has everything you need. Mrs. Carmen end here family are very nice and helpful. We had a great time and can highly recommend it. Taormina is not far away. Close location puplic transport allowed to go for a walk to the historic places. Martina and Wolfgang

Wonderful apartment

Wonderful apartment Loved the stay in the apartment Jasmine. The apartments have everything what we need , very neat and clean. Quiet location surrounded by flowering plants allowed to relax. Very close to the sea and charming view from the terrace . Close location public transport allowed to go for a walk to the historic places : Taormina Castelmola, Forza D”Agro, Savoca , also tours in Catania, Etna . We enjoy quiet, comfortable stay in the apartment and travels.

clean well equipped apartment in a nice quiet area

We had a great holiday. The apartment is ideally situated in a quiet area but only a few minutes walk to the centre of the town where there are plenty of restaurants. The apartment kitchen is well equipped but we found that eating out was good value so didn't do any cooking. Carmen was a lovely, welcoming host providing plenty of information about the surrounding areas and offering help if required. Letojanni is a peaceful town providing a relaxing holiday but ideally situated to travel to more lively areas and the surrounding sites.

Lovely apartment

We stayed in the middle of October for one week in this lovely apartment which is located in Letojanni aprox. 50 meters from the beach. From the terrace you have a beautiful view to the sea and to Taormina which is only a few kilometers away. We enjoyed this view every morning and evening having breakfast or dinner on the terrace. Very close to the apartment (aprox. 20 meters) there is the villa with the beautiful gardens where Gayelord Hauser passed many times his holidays with Greta Garbo. Taormina and the beautiful villages underneath the Etna are not very far away. A car is not absolutely necessary but recommended to see other parts of Sicily. The apartment of Mrs. Carmen is small but tastefully decorated (even with a few antique objects). Although it was still quite warm when we were there we only used the ventilator in the kitchen. We never needed the air condition in the bedroom. The kitchen is new and has everything necessary for preparing simple meals. Mrs. Carmen is a nice helpful person. We were really happy in the apartment and will rent it again when we come back to Sicily. We can highly recommend it to a small family. Walter and Liliana

Excellent Location

Villa Jasmine is a lovely little property located at the quiet end of Letojanni equipped with everything you require for a relaxing break. It has fabulous views from the terrace over the olive trees out to sea and Taormina in the distance. It is situated very close to the beach and the centre of town is within easy walking distance with a good choice of restaurants. The house is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore the coastline and hilltop villages. Carmen was an excellent host providing us with information on the local area. A very enjoyable relaxing stay in a lovely location.

Charming apartment

This is a charming apartment at the quiet end of Letojanni, we enjoyed a restful week, the terrace is cool and spacious for eating, reading,painting and enjoying the view. Perfect place for a restful holiday if you don't want to go far. Good restaurants in easy walking distance. Plenty of sights to visit, car is essential for this.

beautiful location and panorama

we spend fantastic week stayng at beautiful villa jasmine.the villa is well appointed and confortable ad the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. villa is situated in the town in one area silent and rich of trees and flowers that exhale wonderful parfume.carmen was very helpful to us from the beginning.we relied on his information for getting around and finding local restaurants,supermarkets etc..we enjoyed traveling to many towns during the day and returned to the villa in the evening to cook and enjoy the beautiful out side.villa is few meters from the beach and we spend long time swimming in the blue water.Was one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations.
