Weekend stay

Had a great mini break at the cottage. It is very well stocked, tons of fun games to play and easy to get to. The owners are very communicative and we had a wonderful time.

A lovely winter wonderland retreat

This is our second year at Linda’s place and we love it. It’s a very well appointed cottage in a beautiful location. It fit our group of 4 families well.

Maple Cottage

We had a great month at Maple Cottage. The lake views from the cottage are spectacular. They had a canoe, kayak and SUP that kept us busy on the lake. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s’mores in the evenings and star gazing from the dock. Linda was a great host and responded quickly to our inquiries.

Last trip of the summer

Awesome stay. Everything you could hope for. The place is better than shows in the pictures. Linda was very easy to deal with. The kitchen well appointed with top notch everything. The whole cottage was well maintained and it feels like home. We hope to book again for next year.

Time away from home

We are returning customers from last year. The experience was just as great as the first time and this time we were able to use the outside equipment. The place has everything you need and more, I truly recommend this place. We will Come back again next year

A lovely winter getaway

We rented this great cottage for a friend’s winter getaway. We enjoyed the cottage’s proximity to Arrowhead park for skating and skiing. The cottage itself is well equipped for a weekend of enjoying meals together around the big dining table. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels helped our group of 8 spread out to not disturb those who went to bed early or slept late. Very easy check in. We are already planning to return next year!

Annual guys trip

Linda’s property was perfect, from the views, to the calm water, to the deer walking through the back yard near the fire pit Saturday night. What a great weekend we all had. The property was better than advertised. We chose this property out of a dozen, and Linda was very responsive to all our questions! We would all highly recommend Linda, and her beautiful cottage, with stunning views. Thank you Linda for hosting us!

Couldnt ask for anything more!

We spent a weekend in June. Everything was as described and served our needs perfectly. The cottage was incredibly clean, organized and well stocked. There was nothing we needed! The lake and dock were beautiful and we enjoyed the variety of boats provided. The only caveat is that the walk up and down from the house to the dock could be a little challenging for people with mobility issues. We hope to be back one day!

The property's location it is wonderful. Linda equipped the property with the sole purpose to make the guest, comfortable, enjoying the surroundings, the nature, without thinking for anything else. Everything was there, enjoying the beautiful view from the perfectly designed house, very well matched interior design, for cooking a delicious meal, sleeping very comfortable in large and very well equipped beds and rooms, giving you a snapshot, of the geographic position, the history, the fishing tradition, characteristics for the area. Everything was Perfect.!!!

A three generation holiday

We have just finished spending three excellent days at Muskoka Maple cottage with lovely late summer weather for thorough enjoyment of the waterfront. There were plenty of diversions for all in this well-appointed lake home. It is spotless with pristine white bed and bath linens. An informative binder guided us for the owner's expectations. The only challenge for some might be the steep path from the cottage to the dock. We would hope to visit again sometime. reasonable expectations for our use.

It was excellent time at this location through out the entire duration of stay. Specially locations is pretty good with privacy. Always recommended. Only at the time of checkout it was very pressurized situations by owner at 10am. Actually checkout was 10am owner has already informed us about this. But usually, it take some time to wind up on the day of check out..we took 41 Minute more as she was standing outside. Even in 5 star hotels; management does allow up to 1 to 1.5 hour. We understand that owner does have next guests for check in at 4pm. Any way, please first confirm the checkout time before booking..Rest assured that it was amazing time at this place.

We will consider your suggestion. We do accommodate late check-outs when requested in advance. During the summer months we currently allow 30 minutes as we communicate prior to arrival and the day before checkout that late check-outs cannot be accommodated during the summer.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our stay at Muskoka Maples cottage was 100%. This cottage is the most clean, appointed and well organized rental that we have ever stayed at. Linda was a tremendous host and responded to all messages promptly. The small bay that it is situated on is perfect for swimming and for playing with the water toys. The canoe, kayak, stand up paddle board and the pedal boat were a ton of fun for our tweens and teens. The swim out dock was a blast as well. We took advantage of the marina close by the cottage and rented a boat for a couple of days too and the dock at the cottage was perfect for docking and boarding in and out. The cottage had everything we needed and even with our large group size of four adults and four tweens/teens, we never felt crowded. There were so many separate areas for gathering or for finding quiet time. The cottage was so clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. We can’t wait to stay at this amazing rental again. Thank you Linda for a perfect stay.

Very good cottage to stay

It is one of the best cottage I stayed so far. It is situated in a tranquil lake with very good lake view from the dining & bacony. The cottage is very clean, neaty and maintained. Iit has all utensils we need and the owner is also easy to communicate... we did enjoy the stay in this cottage, and we will recommend to other guests.
