Cocoonr agency offers you to rent a charming air-conditioned apartment located on the first floor of an 18thᵉ century stone building. This cocoon of character, nestled in the heart of Bordeaux just a stone's throw from the Place de la Victoire, is the ideal address for a stay on your own, as a couple or with friends! We provide 4* hotel-quality bed linen and towels, bath mats and tea towels.

You'll fall under the spell of its beautiful 18 m² terrace, perfect for enjoying the mild Bordeaux evenings in complete privacy. Completely renovated and carefully furnished, the apartment combines modernity and old-world charm, for an unforgettable stay in the capital of Gironde.

The apartment can accommodate up to 3 travelers and is composed as follows:
- A bright living room with sofa bed, flat-screen TV and direct access to the terrace
- A fully-equipped open kitchen with central island serving as a dining area: fridge, hob, multi-function oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and many utensils
- A cosy bedroom separated by a glass roof, equipped with a double bed (140x190)
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower
- Separate toilet
- A private terrace of 18 m², not overlooked, furnished with garden furniture
- Wifi is of course available and free!

A bit of history:
Place de la Victoire is one of Bordeaux's liveliest and most popular districts. It's the city's student heart, with its medical faculty and numerous bars and restaurants. A lively place, it frequently hosts concerts and events.
At its center stands a monumental obelisk flanked by two giant turtles, the work of Czech sculptor Ivan Theimer, symbols of vines and wine.
Just a 5-minute walk from the apartment, don't miss the Marché des Capucins, nicknamed “the belly of Bordeaux”. Here you'll find local produce, fresh oysters, tapas, cheeses and fine wines to sample on the spot.

Activities:
From the apartment, you can easily explore Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stroll along Rue Sainte-Catherine (Europe's longest shopping street), discover the museums and wine cellars, or enjoy the many restaurants and markets.

Just the place

We did enjoy our stay in this appartment. It is roomy, well designed and comfortable. But when we arrived there were quite a few amenities not in working order and “the sofa” bed was not very easy to sit on as we are not very tall. So no 5 stars but 4!

The apt is small, more convenient for a student. Location was good. Close to tram and lots of restaurants. The back porch was not swept, it need upkeeping. The curtains in the room is dirty and unhooked. Whoever is renting there has to be careful of the step between living room and bedroom.

L'Atelier d'Auguste "The appartment we stayed in was lovely, clean and pretty central. The actual area seemed to be a bit dodgy as we later discover much mixer areas of Bordeaux. But the agency and the agent were helpful, responsible and friendly. The appartment is small but for 2 people it was ok. The only comment is that the communal area needs some renovation as panels are dropping off the ceiling so gives you a feeling of needing to pass by quickly. Otherwise, good place to stay in Bordeaux."

Expect the entire bathroom to be visible from the bed. There is a persistent mold smell and high humidity that attracts mosquitos. There is also mold in the bathroom and the water does not drain properly, so after a 10 min shower the water overflows to the bathroom floor. The shower holder is broken, so you need to hold a shower head. Bed mattress is soft, so if you are sleeping in one bed, expect to feel every movement of the other person, had to move to the sofa."

L'Atelier d'Auguste "Nice stay anyway in Bordeaux , but we will not rent this apartment again 🙂 Situation in center of Bordeaux, no traffic, no noise. Close to restaurants, shops etc. appartment is nicely decorated , kitchen well equiped, bathroom oke. Nice terrace outside, however, due to rain we could not make use of it 🙁 The key of the apartment was very, very difficult to put in the lock..ask Antoine. I applied graphite to make it work again. The apartment has a strong smell of humid cave and when we entered also a smell of sewer (cupboard under sink). One of the bedsprings of the large bed is broken halfway, so bad comfort to sleep. We washed all dishes an pans before using these; they were not well cleaned. Difficult to fix the shower head; if falls off all the time. All the wall outlets under the little desk are dead, so no lamp, no possibility to use a laptop etc. The electric radiator there does not work , as it is connected to wall socket(illegal!) same applies to other large radiator, it is connected (without ground wire!!) on a wall socket. Suggestion: make some hooks in bathroom to hang towels. I rent out a gîte myself and I know one has to inspect everything on a regular base to ensure your customers come back!"
