Cette maison paisible et privĂ©e donnant sur la riviĂšre Zig Zag est le mĂ©lange parfait de charme rustique et d'Ă©quipements modernes. L'intĂ©rieur en bois chaud d'origine de la maison s'Ă©tend tout au long, mais les clients apprĂ©cieront bon nombre de ses mises Ă  jour rĂ©centes, y compris les nouvelles salles de bains, la cuisine et le revĂȘtement de sol. La grande cheminĂ©e en pierre est l'endroit idĂ©al pour se rassembler pour se dĂ©tendre et se rĂ©chauffer aprĂšs une journĂ©e sur les pistes. La grande terrasse extĂ©rieure, avec son bain Ă  remous privĂ© et son barbecue, offre beaucoup d'espace pour profiter des repas du soir ensemble en Ă©tĂ© tout en profitant de la vue imprenable sur la riviĂšre.

Timberline Lodge et Ski Area sont Ă  un peu plus de 24 km. Vous trouverez Ă©galement des restaurants et des Ă©quipements locaux Ă  une courte distance en voiture le long du mont. The host was amazing and this property is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We have been coming here for years and now this is part of our family traditions. We were sent a text that allowed us to check in early. We had first night’s wood waiting by the fireplace. I cannot recommend this location high enough.

Great property!

This was a great property in a great location. Cleaning could be better, we noticed cobwebs in the kitchen and guest bathroom shower when you walk in. We loved the curtains in the bedrooms, made it nice and dark, not a feature every rental property has unfortunately. it felt very private and relaxing. Hot tub was wonderful.

Great property and amazing location on the river. Hot tub was great, would have been nice to get more outdoor lighting. Unfortunately there were quite a few cobwebs in kitchen and guest bathroom shower. Also layers of dust in common places that get use, missed during cleaning. If the windows with screens would open that would have been a bonus to cool the space down. Other than that it was very enjoyable and would recommend this beautiful property!

Weekend Family Getaway

Beautiful cabin overlooking the river. The recent snowfall made the ambiance even more relaxing and beautiful. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The property was great! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a little challenging to find the property. In case you are not aware the address sign at the street is broken and not visible. The small Vacasa sign was helpful.

A lovely slice of the forest!

It was a little challenging to find the right turn off for the place, and the kitchen equipment was a little rusty, but the place was fantastic! The location is beautiful, the hot tub by the water was a delight, and the 6 of us had a great time.

Cozy cabin with amazing view!

Perfect spot for a girls weekend. Cozy cabin with lots of space and comfortable seating. Beautiful, relaxing view of the river and hot tub to watch the stars at night. This is managed by a Management company and some of the services were a little bumpy, but overall wouldn’t prevent us from coming back again in the future.

Found my yearly rental destination

Wow, wow, wow. This is the 5th year I’ve rented a Mt. Hood-adjacent cabin and this beats the previous rentals, hands down. The star of the show is the deck that overlooks the Zig Zag River. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances were good quality. The cookware and utensils were also good; sometimes rentals have things that have seen better days, but these were good. Great fridge. Hot tub at a perfect temp. Mt. Hood Coffee Roasters just down the road has really good lattes.

WE had an incident with the bear attacking our garbage can. That seemed to sort itself out. The real issue that bothered us was all of the English ivy covering all of the trees. It will kill the trees and totally take over the surrounding area. They are invasive

Hygee Cabin

The cabin had plenty of room for everyone. It was well stocked with everything you would need. The setting was so peaceful and relaxing, it was wonderful sitting in the hot tub and listening to the river.

A Special Home in a Very Special Place

We have rented this home many times over the last decade. It is a great getaway to stay in the US Forest up by Mt Hood. Trees, hiking trails, biking trails and of course the river directly behind the home. We were disappointed on this trip to see that the bed in one of the bedrooms had been reduced from a large comforatbale mattress to a box spring with a 3 inch topping. NOT comfortable and one guest landed on a couch. I am hoping that the owner will reply to this comment to let everyone know that the bed has been upgraded back to what has always been there. Otherwise, do not hesitate to rent this home.

Beautiful place

Wonderful cabin and setting. The sound of the Sandy River rushing by is intoxicating. Be aware the toilet paper and paper towels are cheapest quality and no extra. You may want to bring your own. Also, the shower in the second bathroom is quite small.

A cozy Mt. Hood Getaway!

We loved this spot! The interior was very cozy and was as advertised. I loved the fire place in the living room. The real star of this place is the hot tub on the deck, which is right next to the Zig Zag river. It’s a large really nice hot tub, and the pleasant sound and view of the river really add to the ambience.

A cozy and easy time near the mountain

The sound of the river, cracking fire and warm lighting and aesthetic made for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The cabin was well cared for, beautiful and well stocked with kitchen tools, fuzzy blankets and games. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future. The road to the cabin may be difficult to navigate in more extreme weather for those without all wheel or four wheel drive.

Best stay in 4 years of traveling

This property is even more beautiful, cozy, peaceful than the pictures show. The cleanliness was only surpassed by the owner’s attention to small details and courtesies. For instance, there were various size leashes and plenty of hot tub towels by the front door. This property has all the feel of a country cabin while still providing modern conveniences. Furniture including beds are very comfortable. Plenty of supplies including first nights firewood. The notebook was full of information and very user friendly. Vacasa sent a text to let us know early check in was available and then followed up an hour in with a text just to make sure we were satisfied with cleanliness. These simple acts were quick and noninvasive but did make us feel that Vacasa and the owner valued our business. We travel 4 times a year and Hygge Cabin on the River will now be our annual October location for as long as they will have us.

This place is a win/win!

All the beds are comfortable, especially the little day bed nook! Hot tub is such a bonus! The large couch and fireplace. You can’t loose with this place!
