Although I live nearby, I really enjoy meeting my guests when they arrive so I can show them the special features of the Inn as well as how to operate the whirlpools and steam baths. The great historic house in Lake Geneva

The location is perfect. There is rare parking on the property, A rarity in Lake Geneva. Would definitely go back.

Wedding in Lake Geneva

We didn’t spend much time at the property because of Rehearsal dinner and Wedding. This was the best location for us. The property was very comfortable and clean.

Beyond expectations

This stay truly exceeded out expectations and the property owner was fantastic. We will definitely stay again and are working on future dates already. Jeff was a fantastic property owner to communicate with. Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommended.

TC Smith House

We were greeted by our host Maureen when we arrived at the house. She gave us a tour of her home and showed us how to use her spa and showers. Maureen made us feel very welcome and we had a very at home feel to the house the entire stay. We enjoyed the backyard every morning and every evening. My family really appreciated that everything including the beach was walking distance from the house. We had a quiet and relaxing stay.

Great location, Maureen was nice. But it’s got a lot of stuff all over. There is no family room to hang out in. And the dining room has many, many Knick knacks. The kitchen is chocked full as well. If you’re renting the whole house for a family it is not good for that. Plus, there are only bathrooms in the bedrooms. If you have to go, there is not a bathroom to go in unless you go to your room. Weird. Plus one bathroom is basically a closet in a bedroom. It is separated only with a shower curtain. If you are going to the bathroom, you are 2 feet from the bed and your mate sleeping. Every square inch of wall is covered with old pictures too. There a a couple of naked women hanging up. Very odd place. No pictures of the clutter online.

Sadly disappointed

Gorgeous yard, kind caretakers-thank goodness because house has become overwhelmingly overfilled and cleaning service failed miserably.

Birthday vacation getaway with family and friends.

Great historic landmark, cozy bedrooms, great host, very accommodating.. Very close to Lake Geneva beach, city center.

Thank You for taking the time from your busy schedules to review the Historic Inn. I am happy that such a great extended family christened the new barbecue and enjoyed the large courtyard gardens to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Actually , it took me two days to eat all of the good food you brought over to my home. I have really enjoyed the SPUTNIK brand of coffee beans you gave me.. We absolutely loved the place. Spacious bedrooms and very clean. Back yard was fantastic and fenced in so the dogs were able to play. Great location..only a 5 minute walk to the beach and shopping.

Victorian charm

Home is lovely in quiet neighborhood close to downtown and the beach. Maureen is wonderful and close by if you need her. Whole family loved our experience.
