Welcome to Lil Granny’s Lake House, a cozy Lake LBJ vacation rental in Kingsland, Texas—where peaceful lake days and Hill Country adventure meet.
Tucked in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the water, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath home sleeps 6 comfortably. You’ll find two queen bedrooms plus a queen sleeper sofa—ideal for families, couples, anglers, and Winter Texans seeking a laid-back escape.

Many activities are nearby. You are 10 minutes from 2 golf courses, 15 minutes from 2 state parks, 28 minutes from Llano and the famous Coopers BBQ, and 35 minutes from Johnson City. You are just 45 minutes from Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, a sacred site of native Americans. You are one hour from Fredericksburg, where you can find unique shopping along with wine tasting in the area now known as the "Napa Valley" of the Texas Hill Country. Just down the road from Fredericksburg is Luckenbach, made famous in the song sung by Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. We think Lil, Granny's has everything you might want, but if not, we live across the street. Just let us know.

We absolutely love this place. House was spotless and had everything we need. We fished for 3 days and loved that we could walk down to the lake. Kids had a blast swimming and fishing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Quaint cottage

This cozy cottage was perfect for our trip. Jackie was very helpful suggesting local restaurants and activities. The dock and paddle boat were just a short distance and the cove was a great fishing location.

Comfy at Granny’s

Lil Grannys has very comfortable beds, very clean, and has everything you need. It has a very nice dock at the end of the road and very accommodating hosts. I highly recommend!

The perfect, simple, family vacation. Comfortable house and beautiful scenery. It’s exactly what we needed for our family get-away. Caught some fish, saw some shooting stars from the gorgeous deck, and enjoyed the kayaks too. Can’t wait until next year!

We enjoyed the week we spent. Quiet location with quick access to a private boat ramp and a dock to keep your boat overnight if you choose to. Great owner lives next door and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We will be back.

Super Stay

This place is a great place-it has all of the modern comforts (Especially great water pressure and comfy bedding and mattresses)…but it takes you back to a place that was the Hill country, before it became so well-known and crowded. Gorgeous oaks overhang the road, quiet street full of rolling green lawns down to the cove. Super experience and would stay again!

Perfect Getaway

Extremely fortunate to have found this property! It was perfect for our family of three. My son learned to kayak. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Will is a great guy!! Caught a ton of sunfish, too.

Fabulous getaway cottage

This adorable cottage is great for getting away from the stresses of life. It is very clean, quiet, and affordable. Jackie and his wife go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The enclosed front porch is a wonderful feature. I spent an afternoon out there, just reading and relaxing. I hope to make another visit next year!

Ideal location for getaway

William was analyzing host. Our family had an amazing time. He was easy to get a hold of. He has a wealth of information about the area. He ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Such a great hidden gem. Super quiet street with wonderful trees. The house was perfect for 4 adults. Had everything we needed for the weekend at the lake. Used the private dock for some fishing and to launch our kayaks. We will be back for sure. Thank you Jackie!

Great Find

This was the best experience yet. Owner friendly and answered any questions we had. Neighborhood nice and quiet with screened in porch totally made stress of city life vanish away. You could not ask for a nicer cleaner rental. We will be back!!
