We loved our location at St George's Wart with quick access to Tube station Vauxhall. Walking distance to many central sights, Enjoed our evening at the theatre “Hamilton” ***** and seeing Coldplay live at the Wembley Stadium. We would have appreciated more towels for a 7 day stay, combined washer and dryer is acceptable for cleaning clothes but not very efficient for drying given the high humudity in London. Hope the regular fridge gets repaired as a fridge is a necessity and not a convenience, we appreciated the cordial welcome on our arrival!
The location of this flat in Vauxhall is great. It's next to the tube a train station and has a nice view of the Thames. For a modern, two bedroom, two bath flat in London, the unit itself is pretty basic. It's sparely furnished and the beds and room light are in dire need of upgrading. A few minor things like starter pods for the coffee maker or laundry detergent would have been appreciated.
This property overlooks the Thames River (with a nice balcony) and is fantastic. It is not far from restaurants and grocery stores, as well as many of the major sites. It was a very nice place to stay.

Thank you Kerry for a lovely review, we look forward welcoming you back.
Our family was so lucky to find this amazing property! It is located in a fantastic area near the train and bus stations for ease in traveling throughout the city. There are 2 local stores nearby that carry enough for your stay as well as many local restaurants that can satisfy whatever your choice may be for the day. Location was the key for us and I would recommend and hopefully stay at this property again.
The apartment was nice and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient, being near the Vauxhall stop (underground) and the St. Gorge Wharf (riverboats). Carlos was great and quick to respond to all our questions and needs. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location to the underground. The Thames river and taxi. We had to purchase our own toilet paper and coffee maker did not work. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the apartment was nice.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
The listing misrepresented several things that were important to our booking it. The primary one was distance to sights and locations to visit. Most normal people would not say the property was within walking distance to Tower of London, Westminster, other places. It does not comfortably sleep 6, but only 4. Second bedroom and bathroom are tiny, without room to put luggage, easily walk around the double bed. Bathroom drains were very slow to drain. There was mold around door to balcony. Fans did not effectively cool the bedrooms. Refrigerator quit working the last day we were there.
The view from the balcony was my favorite part of the whole experience! The living and bedrooms were perfect for our size family, so our teenage sons could have their own bathroom. The kitchen has whatever basics you need to cook or prep easy meals. We also loved that we could walk everywhere (Big Ben, etc., all within walking distance). There are multiple nearby restaurant/pub options, and for further London ventures, cabbies and Ubers have no problem finding you. I brought my hair dryer from the US, and our host, Carlos, thank God, told me even with a converter, your US hair dryer might not work, so I got my hair done at the Live Boots salon in the building for less than what I pay in the US! This appt. made our stay easy and enjoyable, and our hosts, Kristina and Carlos, were kind and helpful. We can't wait to come back!
location is great, easy access to all the sites in London, communication was great. Plenty of food and stores nearby. Beds are just ok, very low to the floor. Only one small bath towel per guest provided. Some broken floor tiles in both bathrooms. Only one ice tray and freezer was iced up.
We recently stayed at this flat for a 5 night stay in London. It is located across the street from Vauxhall Station so we had great access to the tube and train. Our host, Kristina, met us at the flat and introduced the flat to us. Communication was excellent with her during our stay. The flat had an excellent view of River Thames. The flat was clean, well equipped and we had zero issues. Due to flight cancellations and re-booking, our friends needed an extra night and the flat was available. The area has several restaurants and a small Testco store for food items we needed. The Uber boat pier is also nearby. All of us highly recommend this flat for your stay in London.
We were visiting London for our first time as a family of four (two adults and a 16 and an 18 year old) and this flat was the perfect location for everything we went to see! It was a great home base with easy access to the Vauxhall tube station which easily led us to wherever else we wanted to go in the city!
Carlos explained how to use everything when we arrived. We were always so relieved to be back at the flat in the evenings knowing it was a comfortable reprieve from the long days of being tourists! It was great to have a Pret and a Tesco Express so close we were able to run over and get a few snacks when needed on our way back in.
We enjoyed "family movie night" each evening when we arrived back in the living room. AND, Carlos gave me his number in case we needed to be in touch, but luckily, we did not require anything more from him. 100% recommend this flat and Carlos. We had an amazing trip and were sorry we had to leave!
Nice sized condo in a convenient part of London. The four of us (2 adults & 2 teens) had plenty of space. Great view of the Thames from the balcony. Downstairs there were a few restaurants, small grocery, and the tube, train, and uber boat stations were all right there. We were also able to walk to the eye, Westminster, and Buckingham palace from the condo.
The clothes washer was complicated, so written instructions would have been helpful. European travelers will likely be just fine with it, but it was a lot different than machines used in the US. Only other feedback is the check in process involved the owner meeting us. It was a lot of info given right as we walked in from an overnight flight. An electronic entry system with written instructions for appliances and any other necessary info would be preferred. That said, the owner, Carlos, was very friendly.

Disappointing - tired and grimy unit
Stayed for 10 nights over xmas 2022 - big mistake. The host was easy to communicate with and responsive to queries and Check in was prompt with good instructions.
Location excellent with tube and convenience stores at the door step. The view was also amazing of the Thames.
Unfortunately the apartment is let down by the lack of attention to detail. The photos misrespresent the condition of the unit - mould in the showers and around windows/doors, cracked bathroom tiles, bath didn’t drain properly because the plug hole could hardly be opened, walls and kitchen hadn’t been wiped down in ages as the dirt left on the wipes I used were filthy. A wet white pillow case had been left in the dryer which was mouldy, the one tea towel provided was disgusting - large hole and very worn - you wouldn’t use it to wipe the floor. Host did not provide an alternative after being advised, so I ended up purchasing my own. Towels were so thin and you could feel the springs in the beds. Kettle was disgusting inside - really needed replacing. I just boiled water on the stove.
I understand That England is damp and hence the mould but isn’t this something that should be Checked and cleaned prior to checking in? Some bleach would have helped immensely. Sadly this apartment has not been maintained and many aspects are worn and tired. The cleaners should be sacked as the unit felt grimy and didn’t feel I could trust the cleanliness.
Our friend was staying in Anchor House tower and this unit is in Bridge house. Her apartment was a lot newer and modern. If you can find an apartment in the Anchor House tower I think it will be more modern. Her apartment was perfect.
Unfortunately this site does not allow traveller photographs so I can’t upload examples. If I had known the true condition of the apartment I wouldn’t have booked it and spent 10 nights in it (including Xmas). Go elsewhere or just be prepared for what you’ll be getting (bring bleach, wipes and own tea towels).
This flat was exactly what we needed for our short stay in London! The tube station is right outside and most places took only 15-20 mins to get to. The property is a bit tricky to find since there are multiple identical buildings. Everything met our expectations, however the beds and the leather couch could have been more comfortable. Aside from those things we really enjoyed our stay!
We will definitely stay here again! This apartment was the perfect place to stay for our week in London. It was very clean and had everyone needed for the week, including a washer/dryer. The Vauxhall tube station and the St. George Wharf Uber Water Taxi pier are right downstairs. Christina met us when we checked in to show us around the place, and she responded quickly to all of our questions. Highly recommend!
Great place close to train station and and a great view of Thames river! Highly Recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It made for a
Great base for our family of 4 with a grocery store and train station a short little walk. Check in and check out was a breeze.
Our family had a great time here during our week-long stay in London. Carlos and Christina were very responsive to anything we needed - thank you! The bed in the 2nd bedroom can only comfortably sleep one person. Other than that, we would definitely come back!

Why they chose this property
St George Wharf is a landmark riverside development spanning across 7 acres of London’s hottest area of regeneration, and conveniently, just moments from London’s Vauxhall Underground Station. Initially rising 22 storeys but now with the addition of the 48 storey Tower, the tallest sole residential building in the UK, St George Wharf is a focal point of the South Bank. The main development is easily identifiable by its gull-wing roofs and stylish terraces; Broadway Malyan Architects had a willingness to champion innovation and as such have designed an original and expressive building with a fantastic attention to detail. Riverside living does not get much better than this.
What makes this property unique
Residents of this SW8 development, St George Wharf, often comment on its sense of community, with a stunning series of landscaped courtyards and elegant fountains creating an idyllic rural atmosphere in the heart of central London. St George Wharf combines this serene courtyard with state of the art facilities; amenities include a supermarket, restaurant and bar, an NHS Doctors, dentist, a 24hr gymnasium and a spa offering a wide variety of treatments.
