Spacious House with an amazing view

The house is great for a big family, with spacious areas and comfortable beds. Our favourite areas were the terrace with the dining table and the rooftop with a hot tub. With a indoor swimming pool for the windy days and an outdoor pool for the hotter ones, Mar da Luz is a great space to go during your holidays with family and friends. We were able to spend time on every facility. Starting with some exercise at the gym, then going for a dive at the outdoor pool, followed by the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Every day was finished by watching the Sunset at the house's private hot tub at the rooftop terrace. The only negative aspect we would point out is the outdoor swimming pool floor, that was a bit rough and bumpy. We ended up with some scratched feet and knees due to that. Despiste that, we would totally reccommed this place.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. Really clean, great for walks and the nearby town of Luz has a great selection of restaurants. Can’t wait to come back

Lovely apartment

A really lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable, spacious apartment. This apartment is in a lovely quiet location and you will definitely need a car. The complex is clean and peaceful and swimming pools inside and out are lovely, although be aware the outdoor one is really cold even in June/July. The rooftop hot tub is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if you are looking for a quiet chilled holiday in a lovely apartment I cannot recommend this apartment enough.

A super place to get away fom it all and enjoy the

A lovely apartment on a nice quiet complex. It is bright and airy and extremely well laid out with a super hot tub with great views. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice relaxing holiday. Only a 10 minute drive in to Pria da Luz with great restaurants and beaches.

Super schöne Flitterwochen!!

Hallo, meine Frau und ich haben es genossen 14 Tage in ihrem Apartement zu verbringen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Jeden Abend verbrachten wir im Mondschein unterm Sternenhimmel und hatten nach den Erlebnissen des Tages (Strand, Touren ins Landesinnere, Westküste samt Lissabon) einen romantischen Tagesausklang. Dazu ein Gläschen Weißwein, alles war perfekt. Auch die Frau an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich! Wir vermissen die Zeit dort sehr und würden am loebszen sofort wieder dorthin zurück. Wonderful sea view appartment in stunnng location

Fantastic apartment, peaceful resort ,amazing sea views in a truly beautiful location. Loved the coastal walks, the weather, the pool, the jacuzzi and the roof top terrace!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Very well organised, seamless from start to finish.

Der Jacuzzi auf der Dachterrasse war das absolute Highlight. Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet. Die Sauberkeit war okay hier könnte man aber noch etwas dran arbeiten.

Brilliant location with all the comforts of modern living in a first class apartment complex

Mar de Luz offers a stress free holiday in a beautiful location surrounded by everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The facilities at the complex are perfect. A gym, indoor pool, sauna and option to book spa sessions with Saskia which is highly recommended. A car is essential even if just for the trip to the local supermarket. But for those wishing to go further a field there are some amazing locations to visit like Monchique, Silves, Vilamoura and Sagres. The Portuguese are truly delightful and friendly. Restaurants are in abundance and never failed to deliver. Booking the property is easy and correspondence from the owners is very helpful. Overall can't fault the apartment, location and value for money. Looking forward to returning soon.

Excellent property in a quiet location

The apartment was lovely with stunning views out to sea. We enjoyed the area very much and thought Luz and Burgau were both very beautiful. We visited Lagos by bus from outside the resort without any difficulty. The children enjoyed the indoor pool and the adults enjoyed the peace and quiet in the jacuzzi in the evening. The property fully lived up to our expectations.

A first class apartment

An excellent place to spend a great family holiday. The apartment is outstanding and perfectly situated to provide for something for everyone. It is a lovely 25 minute walk to the beach and town. The local shops provide everything that you need to self cater and there is a great choice of restaurants nearby. We would recommend this apartment without any reservation. Fantastic apartment

For a quiet and relaxing break in the Algarve this is the place to go. The accommodation is fantastic. It was immaculate and very well furnished. There is a nice balcony with sea view for outdoor dining and the roof terrace with hot tub is perfect for enjoying an early evening drink looking out to sea and watching the sun go down. You also have access to an outdoor pool which is located right by the apartment. There is also a lovely indoor pool area and gym that guests can use. We had a rental car which made supermarket shopping and beach visits in the surrounding area very convenient. We did walk to Praia da Luz a couple of times for dinner and then got a taxi back. It's a beautiful walk that takes around half an hour. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in schöner Anlage

Wir waren beeindruckt von der Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Aufbau der Ferienwohnung. Besonders schön ist es morgens auf dem Balkon im Sonnenaufgang zu frühstücken. Tagsüber wird es sehr warm, zum Glück hat man elektrische Jalousien und auch die Klimaanlage. Von hier konnte man gut an verschiedene Orte an der Algarve starten, oder einfach den Tag über in der Anlage verbringen und am Gemeinschaftspool liegen. Leider war ein Plastikteil am Jacuzzi kaputt, so dass wir ihn nicht wie erhofft nutzen konnten. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und kümmerten sich rasch um das Problem. Alles in allem eine sehr angenehme Woche, wir können jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen dort Urlaub zu machen!

Impressive apartment in a beautiful location

My husband and and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for 2 weeks in November and we had such a wonderful time. The apartment itself is furnished to a high standard. It is very well equipped with everything you could need. The private hot tub is a real bonus and the views from the roof terrace are just spectacular. The apartment is on a nice quiet resort which was just what we wanted. It's a small resort and we found we had the communal pools to ourselves a lot of the time. We used the gym and had a swim in the indoor pool every morning and actually went home from this holiday having lost a few kilos- That's a first! The staff at the resort were helpful and friendly and the booking process was very easy. We can’t wait to go back again.
