Getaway with the hubby

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful and loved the 11th floor. Our only complaint about the condo is that the mattress needs replaced or turned. It felt as if we were rolling into the middle every time we got in bed. Other than that...we would for sure stay there again!!! We love tidewater resort!!!

Nice clean room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was very nice and would highly recommend. The company was very professional. We just didn't love the hotel. We went during fall break time and the elevators were horrible. Because this is such a huge hotel it was just way too crowded for me. You had to stand in line every morning on the beach to get your free chairs and umbrellas but since you are not a "paying customer" you only got to sit in the 2nd or 3rd row. I just assumed whom we rented from were "paying customers."

I’m don’t recommend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was alright. The fridge barely worked, the water smelled funny and the bed was dirty. Tidewater has rude workers and is so run down. There were security guards watching the customers like prisoners.

Perfect Condo

Condo was clean and well stocked with everything you need...restaurant in hotel was exceptionally good and free beach chairs were a plus....will definitely stay again!

Elevators are extremely slow.

Overall the resort and room were very nice and clean. The wait to get on and off the elevators was ridiculous. Won’t be returning only for the fact of the slow elevators and wasting so much of the trip waiting on them or having to take 11 flights of stairs with beach accessories and etc everytime we left the room.

Reviewer Comments: Room 1109 was very clean and very well stocked (dishes, pots & pans etc) The refrigerator could use and upgrade as you could not fit 2 liters in except in the door as well as milk. Only Roku TV, no cable. And to access most of the channels you need a pin number which is not provided. Overall the room was great. Very soft beds, Leather sofa, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Overall it was a great stay.

Girls Weekend Perfection!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the perfect spot for a girls weekend! The water is crystalclear which provided the perfect view of localsea life. The beach chairs and umbrella included with the rental made our day at the beach easy and relaxing. There are so many amenities we could have easily stayed a week or more! I/we highly recommend renting this any time of year. You will NOT be disappointed!

Amazing place and lcoation except ot takes 1 hr tp get from 11th floor to ground or vice versa. Insanely slow for elevators.

Our room was nice. The temperature although not happy about not being able to control the temperature the elevators plainly suck, and I wasted too much of my vacation waiting, and will not return. Even though u know u have a wait for the elevators we waited over one hour for an elevator one morning. Would not return to This resort

Elevators are terrible

We were on the 11th floor and we had to make that trip up the stairs a couple of times. The condo was great couldn’t ask for a better place to stay except for the elevators. You would think with all the sets of elevators it would be an easy process but it was not. We waited a crazy amount of time to get on the elevator. I’m glad we wasn’t any higher that 11 floors I could only imagine climbing more stairs.

Family Fourth of July vacation

This condo was perfect!! Everything inside was great. The beds were comfy, there were extra towels, and the a/c control didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend bringing extra beach toys and chairs as all they had were two chairs and an umbrella. Couple of downsides were the elevators at the resort, they were ridiculously slow and being on the 11th floor with two small children made the stairs impossible. Some guests did say it was because of the holiday but others said they were always this slow. The resort had fabulous amenities from the three pools, Starbucks/market store downstairs, poolside bar, and restaurant on site. We had a great vacation, thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful inside condo and great view of the beach!

The place was very nice and looked like the pictures, comfortable, and well thought out. Spacious and accomadating. Extra's like a blender, good nonstick pans, and books to borrow. Dishwasher, washer, and dryer were all really good! We fixed the stove handle. The closet doors and keurig need attention. Was surprised of how dirty the floors were, socks black first night. We paid a cleaning fee, surely others did also....? Elavators are horrible during peak times and sadly slow at other times but we managed.

Mother & Daughter Trip

It ended up being just the two of us and we spent great quality time on the beach and in this wonderful condo! Awesome family stay however the elevators are unreal, we lost power for a bit and the a/c sucked.

When calling maintenance they say we will call back and never do, the a/c was not working properly. Will not be staying here again.

Summer vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, equipped just as advertised. We had everything we needed. The view was amazing and the private balcony was huge! The problem was with the elevators. 45 minute waits were not uncommon. They were very slow and very crowded as frustrated guest tried to squeeze on. We would get cleaned up for dinner only to stand waiting on an elevator for so long in the heat we would be hot and sweaty. We tried the steps once but on the 11th floor that wasn’t an option. The only way I would stay here again is if it were off season or I was on a lower floor that I could take steps.

74 degrees! Issues with the Unit owner regarding the A/C

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would stay at this complex again although disappointed that they do not advertise that some of the unit’s a/c thermostats are controlled by the owners leaving you at their mercy for the room temperature. This is the right of the owner but should be disclosed to the renter. We complained multiple times although the owner would not lower the temperature at night below 74 degrees. Not reasonable at all in this heat. The EcoBee thermostat even showed notifications that the humidity was high, over 70% with the owners settings. I would recommend the property but ask questions on how the A/C is controlled.

Super cute for a small family with little ones.

The condo was very clean and equipped with everything we needed . The condo itself was smaller than expected . It is one of the smaller condos of the building and I was not expecting that . The bunk bed room is very small , our two teenagers ended up on the sleeper sofa . Also , the door the bathroom connected to the bunk room only opened maybe 40% of the way . I really liked the super heavy doors with having a littler one with us , I didn’t have to worry about her trying to sneak out on the balcony . The living room balcony door’s lock worked , but the one in the master bedroom did not . We had zero control over the thermostat and learned if any door is not fully shut for more that 5 minutes , the AC will shut off . Overall , very cozy , just not big enough for my family .

Great location but Hot

Overall we enjoyed our stay and location. Loved the view from the balcony, easy check in, no issues with the elevators as mentioned in other reviews. It should be noted that the owner locks the AC at 75 degrees and you cannot turn it down. Too warm for our preference, especially given the humid climate. We reached out to the rental company and we’re told they would contact the owner and see if he would lower the temp or unlock the ac but never heard back. I sent a message to the owner on here as well and never heard back. Luckily it was not super hot outside for early May so it was bearable. Just wish we knew before we booked.

Cold and dingy

Sheets and towels were faded and old, hard to tell if cleaned. Thermostat could not be changed and although set to 73, never made it above 71. Unit consistently ran out of hot water. Master bedroom mattress is uneven. Faded patio furniture pillows make it hard to determine it they are clean. Coffee pot is outdated and recommend a updated keurig unit for such a small unit. Unit tile floors in the living room are uneven and a trip hazard.
