Beautiful villa in rural setting with large garden, orchard, greenhouse, fire pit, trampoline, and pool near Santiago de Compostela

The best place for a family relaxing holidays, near Milladoiro, a small town with restaurants and shops at only 3 min drive, close to historical city of Santiago (7 Km), and a short drive to marvelous beaches (40 Km by a fast road). Connection to main routes and motorways to anyplace in Galicia at 5 min from the villa.
But some days you just may prefer to stay at the property, enjoying the pool, the putting green and the trampoline in the large garden (2.400 m2) while some nice food is being cooked in the wood-fired oven, the barbecue or the fire pit, maybe with vegetables produced in the property's greenhouse eco garden, or bring some already cooked food ordered in take aways or restaurants in Milladoiro.

Villa Salgueiros is a family property, where my children grew up, and once they moved where live and work brought them, we decided to dedicate it to short term rentals, to help in its maintenance, as a property of this characteristics require a lot of work and attention. And also it is a enjoyable activity which allows to know people from all around the world.

Galicia, also known as green Spain, is a true treasure waiting to be discovered. Galicia is an ideal location for nature lovers, with extremely beautiful coastal areas and mountains with wonderful forests and rivers. The mild climate of this Celtic region, along with the excellent quality of food and wine and the many "festivals" throughout the year (mainly during the summer months), makes it a perfect destination for families, for romantic getaways, or simply to enjoy peace, nature, and the good life. The interior of Galicia is also a paradise with its mountains, forests, and rivers.
Santiago de Compostela, a famous historical city, renowned for its St. James Cathedral, the end of the Camino de Santiago, is lively and welcoming with its exquisite seafood restaurants and tapas bars. As Santiago de Compostela is the end of "the way," and many people come here every year, it is a hub of cultural activities, ranging from concerts, theater, musical events, art exhibitions, outdoor cinema, etc., not to mention the great atmosphere that brings the streets to life late into the night, and all the local festivals. It is recommended to rent a car and take short trips to the fishing ports of A Coruña, Vigo, and the nearby (Portugal), all connected by the "Atlantic Highway."

Villa Salgueiros is a beautiful chalet in a rural setting, 7 km from Santiago de Compostela, and just a step away from the town of Milladoiro, with shops, restaurants, pharmacies, sports facilities, etc., and very close to magnificent beaches. The property has a large garden with fruit and ornamental trees, a good-sized pool (10 x 5 m), a barbecue, a traditional wood oven, and a trampoline for the enjoyment of the little ones.
