A lovely spacious apartment

We had a lovely week here in Sarlat. There's so much to do and see in the area and there are plenty of great places to eat within easy walking distance. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for the week. The terrace is south facing and is a great place to take a break during the day or have an afternoon coffee in the sun. The apartment is only 50m from the cathedral bell tower so you will hear the bells at 7am and they do a great job of cleaning the main street so there can be some noise during the night. It didn't bother us though and we'd definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

Altstadtflair mit Comfort und großzügogem Raumangebot

Eine sehr komfortable Unterkunft beachtliche Größe mitten in der Altstadt von Sarlat. Großzügige Ausstattung mit nur einem Mangel. Die Fenster sind so hellhörig trotz der Isolierverglasung in den alten Rahmen, dass man gut am Geschehen in der Straße teilnehmen muss. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Location, Location...

This apartment was perfectly located for us. The restaurant and café scene was top notch. Close to everything. The apartment was perfectly clean and airy. A little noisy at 5.30am when the street sweepers and garbage collection started but we are early risers so it did not affect us. I will note that if you have mobility issues, the 51 stairs may be too daunting. When we return to Sarlat - and we plan to, we will stay there again.

Overall good experience

Spacious apartment, all the amenities. Great location. No host on hand created some difficulties: lockbox difficult to open, no clear instructions on use of washer & stovetop, unclear directions on use of TV, parking difficult and inconvenient, no pressure in bathroom faucet. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay.
