We normally stay in Perdido or Orange Beach area, but felt this location in Miramar was great. It was nicely decorated and well furnished for our group of 10. We had a great time and would look at staying here again!

A few maintenance things that need addressed but nothing that would prevent me from staying again or recommending. We absolutely loved our stay here and plan to return!

Amazing location and beautiful house!

The location is amazing! Less than a 1/4 mile to the beach and can see the pool and hot tub from the house balconies. The house is beautiful! There is some wear on the house… some lights don’t work and the big doors do not open fully like the other houses.

Wanted to love it but several frustrating things about this house. Would stay again with changes.

We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before. 10/10 recommend the neighborhood. Quiet, pool is great, and love the area. Perfect for a multigenerational group-the living on the second floor is perfect for kids. I loved not having to worry my kids would escape out of the door and go to the pool. However there were quiet a few things I was not thrilled with, especially in light of the amount of money I paid. Multiple doors do not have knobs and closing several doors were difficult. One of the toilets did not flush at all. There were only 4 bowls, 4 spoons and 5 forks for a house that sleeps 12-it was quite frustrating to have to wash dishes in the middle of meals. There were zero kitchen staples-maybe that is typical so I’ll give it a pass but would have liked to have at least salt and pepper. The dishwasher is not attached to the cabinet, so it falls forward anytime you open it and I was afraid the rack would actually slide onto the floor. They ask you leave no trash in the house upon checkout, so we had to pile stinky trash bags into our car and find a trash dumpster at 4 am when we left. They also only provided 2 trash bags, which is ridiculous for a house that sleeps this many people. There were multiple broken knobs on kitchen cabinets and I was afraid my kids would get cut on them. There were no extra linens that we were able to find. I was also frustrated that I had to find contact info and email to get access info an hour and a half before check in. 3/10 stars.

Once you hit the stairs on the third level it was definitely 10 degrees hotter.When it is time to checkout it is always tough to get everything done, but this was beyond appropriate. It was required we take our two days worth of trash with us or to a dumpster. After paying $1000 a day to stay, to require us to dispose of the garbage by ourself was ridiculous. Below is the copy of the letter on checkout rules. Trash Pick Up Times:“””Monday and Thursday, please roll the can to the street the night before. If trash is not brought to the street during your stay there will be a $100.00 charge for removal. Thank you!Please dispose of any bagged trash as well in the nearest dumpster, trash chute, or can. If you cannot find the nearest can then please message or call and we will direct “you” to the appropriate area.””” In other words, take your garbage with you. Left a sour impression on a nice stay.

This rental was visually beautiful but lacking in the clean department. The trash was not removed from the bathrooms, dishwasher was full and the floors on main floor were dirty and turned bare feet brown from the dirt. The front door lock worked some of the time but would not lock every time from outside.

Fabulous experience

House was great! There is a parking lot at the beach. We would drive a car with stuff but we could walk to the beach in 5 minutes (avoiding putting kids with sunscreen/sand into the car seats). There is a two lane road with a crosswalk. Most people would stop right away so we could cross. The pool was great. We were there in July and it was pretty much completely shaded by 5pm (no need for sunscreen). We would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a lovely location but if you’re not used to stairs, it’s a lot of steps! The dryer wouldn’t dry clothes on day 2, tried to fix it on days 3 and 4, but we came home with a ton of laundry because the dryer was still messed up. Amanda was helpful and they tried but laundry was an issue. Ice maker leaked when turned on also. You could tell nobody ever cleaned the sliding glass door jams or cleaned the porches. There was spider webs and grease drippings around the grill, which we chose to use because of waits at restaurants. The house needs a little TLC . When they moved the dryer out it was filthy behind it. Beautiful pool that was just off our porch but the tables and patio around it were always dirty. We had a fabulous vacation in a beautiful home so we made it all work. Thank you Destiny Beach Properties for providing this beautiful home for our family vacation.

Suggestions for owners.

We loved the location and the house was really nice. Our only real complaints is that the pool and hot tub are right outside the house and for the first 3 nights people were in the hot tub until way past 1 am and were very very loud ! No one was ever around to make sure noise was down and that people weren’t being crazy outside late at night. Also the gates were never shut even late at night. A few things we noticed that need to be fixed , Ice maker didn’t work, disposal didn’t work. The master bedroom doesn’t have a lock on the door and one of the knobs to the door isn’t even on there. There was only one dish cloth and one dish rag for the kitchen which was a pain to have to keep washing them There is no blender which is usually nice to have while at the beach on vacation. The master sliding door wouldn’t open so we had to squeeze in to the corner by the chair to go in and out the door which was a pain. I don’t usually like to complain but I would want to know these things if I were the owner of this house. It would also have been nice to have at least one full length mirror in the house.

Exceeded expectations

Our stay at St.Tropez was more than we expected! It is in a beautiful, quiet, and gated community. The beach is across the street and has a private beach access which was so convenient! This beautiful mediterranean 3 story house was just enough for our group of 11. The pool and hot tub was perfect and a huge hit with the kids. We loved the tropical feel with all the palm trees. Property management was easy to contact and responded quickly. The house has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We were very pleased with everything and we look forward to coming back!
