Michigan Getaway

This place was perfect for a couple of families to share. The inside is really nice. The deck and outdoor kitchen are great for grilling and outdoor dining. The beds and pillows are comfortable. We took the kayaks on a float trip down the river. The kids were able to skip rocks, swim and fish from the yard. Fun place to stay!

Lovely place

The property was well appointed and beautiful on the river. The cabin was comfortable and very clean. It was nice to be able to use the kayaks, as well.

Great place. I would stay again.

We stayed with family over the new year’s holiday. It snowed the day we arrived which was an added bonus as it made the property even more beautiful. Host was great!

Awesome house with gorgeous views

The area was amazing. It was super quiet and the deck over the river was amazing. The outdoor kitchen area was the best! I would definitely come back to this house again!

Great choice!

Wonderful set up. Place was very clean and updated. It was the perfect space for our trip. The patio is where we spent most of our time, the grills were were great.

Loved Our Stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful home and property. We had fun fishing, using the fire pit, and playing in the yard. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were plenty of places to sleep & it was great for two families to share, with the two bathrooms, washer and dryer!

Amazing view

We loved this property!!!amazing cabin and view of the river ..the outdoor deck right on the river was our favorite spot ...music and TV on the deck. Such a relaxing fun weekend just what our souls needed to refresh!!!!

Amazing property for a quiet getaway

My partner and I stayed with three other couples and it was a great time. The rain gave us a reprieve so we could enjoy the deck and grill. They went swimming in the river out back. We had a blast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We came up from a Ohio for the Salmon run, the location was perfect for us, and the place was very accommodating. We were very comfortable and had plenty of rest for the days’ grind in the Pere Marquette river. We put the grill to use right away and enjoyed the quiet in the late evenings. Highly recommended and would consider booking next season.

The property is pretty secluded, sitting on two acres with 750' of river frontage with a low bluff yard. The long drive brings you back to our cozy cabin that sits looking out over the South Branch of the Pere Marquette River.

Our 750' of private river frontage, huge deck right on the river and proximity to the the trail system makes our cabin one of the most unique in Northern Michigan! The trout fishing is considered as some of the best in the state and the star gazing is as good as you could imagine. The expansive yard is great for games and we have plenty of parking for your vehicles and tow behind trailers with your trail toys.
