Short Walk from Scarborough State Beach w/ Ocean Views from Balcony!

Enjoy an ocean view from this beach cottage located just a short walk from Scarborough State Beach. The first floor offers a sunroom, two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen and laundry. There is a door leading to a deck off of the rear bedroom. The entire second floor is the master bedroom suite that has a door to the upper deck. There are beautiful ocean views from this sunny deck. There are window a/c units in each bedroom and one in the main living room.

Additional amenity charges for summer guests: Professionally laundered bedsheets, bath towels, and light comforters are provided for all occupants. Beds are made only once, prior to arrival (multiple week guests will have linens dropped off starting their 2nd week). Multiple week guests are charged the linen fee per week at a discounted rate. Beach towels are not included. Guests that book 14 nights or greater will be charged an additional $25 cleaning fee. All reservations are subject to a reservation, cleaning and linen fee, and all applicable state and local tax.

*Winter and/or Academic Rental Properties: Listed amenities may differ; owners retain the right to remove and or winterize specific amenities (i.e. outdoor furniture, grills, outdoor showers). Utilities are not included. Linens are not included. All leases are subject to rubbish removal and cleaning fees.

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved this little beach house! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to the sound of the ocean. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. I also liked the fact the house sat at a dead end road - not a lot of traffic. Having a five minute walk to the beach was very convenient and the outdoor shower was a plus.I would definitely stay here again!

nice little house

This is a nice house, We had planned on my 98 yr old mom to be part of our group but she was too ill to come. Good thing. As much as we enjoyed the coziness of this rental, it is far from handicapped accessible. The upstairs bedroom was heavenly with the deck immediately off it. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could need (except the chef) Beds were comfortable. All in all, it was a nice place to come home to after a long day at the beach

When it says it accommodates 6 people it should be large enough for six. Not enough furniture for six to sit around. Electric not sufficient to accommodate all technology and other electric items

Great stay close to the beach

My husband, 4 year old and 1 year old had a great vacation! We rented this home and it was one of the most affordable ones walkable to the beach. For the price, even though there were some cons, we had a great time and I would recommend the home! We also loved coast guard house, our favorite restaurant we tried and highly recommend (plus Gansett wraps for take out was great)! There were a few pros and cons, but overall still a great home very close to the beach for a great price. Pros: -Very close to beach. About a 3-4 minute walk from the house to a path on the beach (Scarborough state beach was further down but we didn’t mins the path to the beach closest to us: there was more red seaweed there at that end of beach though just fyi) -Cute home with plenty of amenities such as toaster, microwave, coffee machine, grill, can opener, mini blender, wine opener, Tupperware, plenty of plates/cups/bowls/utensils, washer/dryer, deck with lounge chairs, and board games were a huge bonus and hit with our kids, so overall very easy to live for the week with a fully stocked home -Linens and bath towels provided -Outdoor shower that my 4 year old loved and showered in everyday! -Cute beach decor Cons -Most of the furniture was not comfortable. Out master bed was very loud every time we turned over and not comfortable. The couch in living room was also not comfortable. Our daughters bunk bed shook every time she climbed it which made us nervous. -The creaky stairs downstairs to the bathroom during the nights were tough, wish there was a 2nd bathroom upstairs but we survived for the week -Tiny downstairs bathroom, we made do doe the week but be prepared for tight quarters. Bathroom was very nicely updated though! -Wish they provided beach chairs/umbrella as we did have to pack a lot for the beach. -Tiny outdated kitchen but again, doable for a week vacation -2 cars parked infront of garage during our last night. We just didn’t know who it was and wish the owners gave us a heads up about this just so we knew. We wouldn’t have minded, just would’ve appreciated a heads up. Thank you for a great family vacation home!
