Convenient, Clean, and Comfortable.

Convenient to the beach and pool. Plenty of space for a family of 7. We loved the 2 balconies. We would absolutely stay here again. Oh, and the white sand and aqua waters are beautiful.

Great Location!

Couldn't have asked for anything better. Great location to the beach, literally steps away. Nearby grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Everything was on point! Cable went out on a Sunday afternoon, they sent someone over within a half hour! Place was clean and everything that we needed was right there! Great stay!

New Year

Everything in condo was just as it is described. I would the outside table. It’s not very sturdy sitting up on blocks. The lounge chairs on upper floor was perfect. The view is absolutely stunning. With a 3 bedroom place we had nowhere to park the 3rd car since we was told only 2 cars. That was a little issue. We would definitely stay there again. The pros def outweighed the cons.

Location was great, check in was a bit chaotic. Unit was amazing but amenities were sub par. No ice machine, had to buy ice constantly with the warm weather and sheets were dirty.

Location location location!

We loved the beach access and the location of the property! However there was black mold on one of the shower curtains, one of the fans did not work in the upstairs bedroom, there was dried spaghetti sauce on walls of the kitchen, and we were afraid to open the drawer of the freezer. Overall it could have been more clean but it did not impact our vacation at all! The condo was updated which we liked, but we do feel like a good deep clean and a few more updates could be performed.

Great but awful check in

We had a great time except the night we were supposed to check in they did not give me the door code. Me and my boys called the 800 number and were on hold for over 30 minutes around midnight with no one answering to help us. We could not get in the condo and had to get a hotel the first night. They did refund that night and the rest of the stay was enjoyable but did not start out great. Make sure your check in email includes the door code!!

Location - A+ Beach - A+ (love the short walk and chair/umbrella access) Pools - B (heated pool by owner’s cottages much better option) Condo - C Very spacious but several maintenance issues. Upstairs shower did not drain well. Toilet in 2Q room ran constantly and slider door to balcony stuck and we could never get it open. Carpet in master and on stairs very dirty - we didn’t want to walk barefoot on it. Ice machine in bar area backed up and old - we didn’t use. General area is beautiful and people are friendly but property is older and needs a refresh. Much newer options available for similar price.

Would never stay there again

This condo was very disappointing. There were cosmetic issues throughout including holes, chips, stains. The refrigerator/freezer would not seal. I texted several times and on Sunday night around 9pm they did sent a guy up to take a look. He took a few pictures then stated, "I just look at it, they will have someone else come to fix it." He took a few pictures and left. The temperature on fridge and freezer did not cool/keep cold. Ice was melted, ice cream melted. We checked in on Saturday, Monday they sent someone to fix it. The drawer ended up being off track not allowing the freezer to completely shut or seal, affecting the temps as well. It was that way when we moved in. This was fixed on Monday. The internet NEVER worked, I texted multiple times. I will say Vacasa responded but it took me until Wednesday to get a clear answer. Vacasa did answer me quickly, but again, it was "we are addressing this with the local staff." Nothing was getting done. I work remotely and my sister had an online class. We would have NEVER booked this place had we known the internet did not work. The other reviews were similar, we should have listened. This also tells me this wasn't a new issue, it was simply never addressed or fixed. I will say Vacasa provided a partial amount for refund due to the non functioning internet, which was appreciated, but still very inconvenient. The condo was dirty, not terrible, but not deep cleaned for sure. The code was not provided for check in. I had to call and ask for one, which added some time waiting in the hallway to get a code. The television in upstairs bedroom was a mess. There was what appeared to be a sensor?? that I had to keep moving in order to get the remote to work. Regarding the bathrooms, very old, not updated, small. Only one shower was a decent size of the three. There was a TERRIBLE smell from the drains in all bathrooms. Smelled like sulphur. The carpet throughout was awful. Old, stained, and again, dirty. This condo overall was just pretty disappointing. We tried to save money with this booking and it showed. I would NOT recommend this place.

Very spacious, beautiful views!

We loved the open floor plan and the master being downstairs. The kitchen was completed stocked with everything you could possibly need. The balcony views were amazing & had easy access to the beach. All bedrooms were very spacious. I do, however, think you have a serious mold problem in the upstairs bedroom to the left. My daughter & grandson slept in this room for 3 nights & both became very sick (coughing, wheezing, nausea, nose bleed & headache) and ended up having to leave and cut their vacation short, which was very disappointing. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly, as it can be very dangerous to those highly allergic to mold.

Miramar vacation

We were not given the code to enter the unit before arrival and we had to call Vacasa and figure everything out upon arrival. Very stressful! The property definitely shows its age. It really needs to be updated. Renters are made to feel like second class citizens compared to the owners. Renters get the further away parking spots and have to be further back on the beach so the owners can be right near the water. The Wi-Fi is horrible! We didn’t have any Wi-Fi for most of the time we were there. The location couldn’t be beat as you can walk right off the porch to the beach! Overall it was ok but I probably wouldn’t choose this property in the future unless it was updated.

Great Girls Getaway

Fall trip to the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Miramar Beach and our stay at Mainsail. It is our 2nd time staying at Mainsail. We love the proximity to the beach, a 2-3 minute walk. We enjoyed the hot tub and the heated pool as well. This condo was clean and had everything we needed and was exactly as pictured. We had plenty of room for my husband and I and 3 of our adult children to relax and each do our own thing, whether going to the beach or sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view.

Great place to stay

Easily slept all 9 of us. Full bath in every bedroom. A step on deck broke during our stay and was looked at in less than an hour, and repaired in less than three. Very clean, would highly recommend.

The view was so breath taking and beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, all in all this was a place we would stay again. The only issues that we had was the seal on the freezer was not sealing, the ice maker was frozen up, and there was wall issues at the screen door. But when we called Vacasa they wasted no time and Jason came out and fixed all the issues except for the wall which needed a contracter (but this was just cosmetic nothing that affected our stay). You will not be disappointed by staying here and the residence and workers are so friendly (except one guardshack lady but we didn't let her ruin our vacation). Thank you Vacasa and the home owners for sharing a little piece of heaven.

Nice condo, some improvements needed

We've stayed in 3 condos at Mainsail over the past several years. As with the others, 117 is nice but in need of a few improvements. The wall above one of the first floor windows (by the patio door) leaked during a heavy rainstorm. Apparently, the owner and Mainsail know about this and inquired as to whether it leaked during the storm. The water knob in an upstairs bathroom kept falling off. The sliding door to the washing machine and dryer would come off the track. But overall, it was a nice condo. There was an ample supply of eating utensils, plates, bowls, and glasses (even wine glasses) in the kitchen....much more than we've had in other condos at Mainsail. There was a decent number and variety of pots and pans as well. There were some plastic storage containers, but most did not have matching lids. The separate ice maker by the bar was very well appreciated and heavily used. Nice touch! The unit could benefit from a few more plastic and metal cooking spoons, though. The dishwasher doesn't clean dishes very well, even though it seems that the water in it gets very hot (based on the steam coming from the machine during a cycle.) We did a lot of hand washing since the dishwasher wasn't very effective. For the number of people the unit holds, there weren't enough bath towels provided. Note that each of the 3 bathrooms is within a bedroom. So, anyone needing to go to the bathroom had to go through a bedroom to do so. That wasn't always an ideal situation, but we made it work. Also note that the only way this unit holds 10 people is if someone sleeps on the sofa (which is not a sofa bed). The access to the beach and pool from the stairs off the downstairs patio was great and much more convenient than going out the front door and down the common stairwell or elevator. Overall, I would recommend this unit to others.

Beautiful Condo

We absolutely loved the condo. We rented it because we had a wedding on the beach. It was walking distance to the beach and pool with its own entrance in the balcony. We loved this. The condo was cleaned however it needed some deep cleaning. Like the walls need to be wiped down. Other than that they had everything in stock. There was plenty of space for nine of us. The beds were so comfortable, honestly the best. The couches were so comfy too. One thing that needs a minor fix was the wifi. We don’t use it much but because it rained a lot we were stuck at the condo using the internet which was so bad I ended up using my hotspot. This was the reason I gave four stars. Other than that I recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay.
