Host was very welcoming and great at messaging back. House/cottage is in great location 5-7 min walk down to the beach. heated community pool a few houses down in the center of all the cottages. Great location for Miramar/Destin attractions. 5 min drives to restaurants, grocery and malls. Directly across the street from the outlets. 15 mins to the boardwalk. We lucked out on weather the first couple days and enjoyed the beach with mid 70 degree weather for a few days Christmas week; it was amazing. On the chillier days we went to the track arcade and gator house which was perfect for our 4 and 6 year olds. A lot was open down at the boardwalk and during the holiday week which we didn’t expect. House sleeps 6-7 adults comfortably. We had toddlers so sleeping with them in a full/queen was tight but we made it work. Was counting on the trundle den space to sleep an adult and 6 year old but couldn’t make use of it; too small and low ceiling height, no windows, the size of a walk in closet. maybe just an older child would do better in it or just don’t use it. The dining table was spacious and the living room was comfortable. All in all a great memorable stay with my whole family, and would def recommend!
