Beautifully appointed space

We had an absolute blast with our entires family. There was ample space for everyone and the ease of getting to the beach is unparalleled. We had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t know we’d need. We have already booked again for next year!

Great condo with everything you need. Great communication with owner. Loved the direct access off our balcony. Never had to use the elevator to get to the beach and pool.

Great place, comfortable, good location

The apartment is one floor above ground level (elevator if needed), with 3 bedrooms (king and 2 queens) plus a murphy bed in the living room and it is very well equipped for short or long stays. Little things matter and there is rarely a place like this that has new looking non-stick pans, most are all scratched up. There is a great beach view from the balcony but it could be a bit tight for sitting space if there was enough guests to use all the beds although most guests would probably be at the beach or pool so that might not matter. For 2-4 people it is OK. The location is great, right across the street from a shopping complex with a grocery store, some fast food joints and restaurants all in walking distance. In hot weather a lot of people would appreciate the ice maker but some might find it noisy. The only "compliant" would be that the patio door cannot be locked from the outside. Andree is a very attentive property manager, she should probably run classes in how to do it properly, and the info package was top notch. Both her and this property are highly recommended.

Can’t wait to return!

We will definitely be back! The layout of the condo was perfect for three friends on a girls’ trip (and it would be perfect for three couples, too). Proximity to the beach walk was amazing. Owner is attentive and responsive. This was our second stay with this particular owner (different unit first time), and I’ve not been disappointed.

Great Condo

We had a great experience! Communication is top notch. The condo was well taken care of and well stocked with essentials! The ease of beach access is a must with any condo! We would stay here again! Mainsail feels nestled away from larger busy areas but close enough to everything. Everything in the condo was clean and taken care of! We had zero complaints about this unit!

The condo was everything promised. Very clean. Great location to the beach. The complex was clean and the pool was a great option on a windy day. Owner communicated throughout the process and was available for anything we needed. Highly recommend this condo for a family vacation.

Excellent condo & great communication!

This condo was exactly as described! Short walk to the beach! Andree was wonderful to communicate with me from time of booking until checked out. We were short washcloths for a family of 9 & Andree had more dropped off the next morning! Great service! The only issue we had was with the rental chairs that were provided with stay. We did not know that owners got the front chairs closest to the water. We understood it was first come first serve, but not that owners got first dibs no matter what. An owner complained that we sat in our beach chairs at the waters edge. We "obstructed their view". We were asked to move for a certain owner, we disagreed with being ask to move, but in the end we moved down & had much better beach goers around us that didn't complain & actually had great conversations with us. Other than that, we had an amazing vacay & enjoyed the condo & property! Perfect location! Less crowded beach!

Perfect Beach Vacay

This condo is so great, we chose for location and ease of access to the beach. We had 1 & 3 yo plus our older parent and didn't want the long hallway walk, wait for the elevator ect every time we wanted to get out-here just open the patio door and walk down the stairs to the boardwalk. The manager was great! Always available by phone for questions. She helped me with arranged crib rental drop off and return (there is a pack play and highchair in the unit), sent periodic messages about the trip/payments ect, and was able to help coordinate check in with two others in our group. The condo is well stocked. There were tons of beach items in the condo- maybe too much? Could be organized a little better or have some shelving installed in the closet, we opened the door and everything kinda spilled into the hall but the kids were well entertained! Our stay was quiet but all of the people we met were very polite and welcoming. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Great communication with property owner , check in was easy, one bedroom coverlet was dirty and needed cleaned, bathrooms were all clean as well as the rest of unit. Overall are stay was great.

Everything You Need

This condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well-stocked, some beach things, heated pool, hot tub, and easy beach access. Communication with Andree is easy and she responds promptly - even above and beyond when I had a specific question. Three generations stayed for this trip and we all had our own space - condo was laid out nicely. Thanks for the memories. Would definitely book again!

Our family lives in New Orleans and we own condominiums in the Blue Mountain Beach and Destin/Miramar Beach area. New beginnings and a new venture began for us in 2019! We opened a management company called Southern Hospitality Vacation Rentals. We are managing condos at Mainsail and the Majestic Sun in Miramar Beach along with condos in the Blue Mountain Beach area on 30a. We have been most fortunate to "hand pick" these properties and I think you will be pleased with our new additions.

We are not a large faceless corporation, marketing group or large impersonal rental agency. These are our second homes that we would like to share with you! Being frequent occupants as well as owners, we strive to make all the little details of our condos as home like and inviting as possible. Destin offers the most beautiful beaches along the coast. Sugar white sand and emerald green waters. We purchased our first condo at Mainsail in 2009 and were so happy with our decision. We look forward to sharing this condo with you in paradise.

The location of Mainsail is relaxing and easy. It's by far, 'The best place to grab your flip flops and relax'! The area has many restaurants, superb shopping from boutiques, antique stores to the largest outlet mall in the South located across the street. You can also catch your dinner with a fishing excursion, para sail, play a round of golf or just kick back and people watch. Mainsail also offers tennis courts, basketball goals, shuffleboard, hot tub, 2 pools, a dedicated kiddie pool and grills for you to enjoy. Forgot something... you don't have to venture far at all; there is a grocery store, restaurants, a beach store all right outside the gates of this complex.
