Idyllic Stay
Lovely peaceful remote location and yet only 10 minutes from Honiton shops and The Otter pub. Ted is a great host - chatty & friendly & provided a fabulous hamper of complimentary goodies on arrival - milk, eggs, fresh bread, cake, fruit, coffee, wine to name a few. Thank you this was really lovely! The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed and more! We (3 generations of family aged 17 to 89) all loved it here and will definitely return. The only improvement I can think of is that given we visited in the summer, and therefore had the windows open, next time I’ll bring a plug in fly zapper as being on a farm there were understandably a few about! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Very happy with our stay
It was exactly what we were looking for. Rural, dog friendly and big enough for us to have plenty of space. It didn't disappoint. The welcome pack really was generous and made us feel so welcome and cared for - thank you. Ted was available when needed and good source of information but equally left us to our own devices throughout. The barn was perfect and so nice and big for our family. Cosy lounge for the dark evenings and the availability of logs for the fire was also so generous and appreciated. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

A great location for a family holiday
We had a fantastic time staying at Harvest Moon. The property is clean, comfortable, very well equipped with a modern interior, and in a lovely and very quiet location at the end of a lane to the north of Feniton, some way outside the village. It was lovely for our 5 year old daughter to be able step outside and say hello to the chickens, and see cows and sheep in the fields opposite. It is well located to explore south Devon and west Dorset. Ted is an excellent, friendly, host, there if you need him but otherwise lets you enjoy your holiday in peace. The basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival was much appreciated and a lot more generous than we’ve had in other holiday properties! The property sleeps 8; we were a party of 5 in the end (it was intended to be 7) and so had plenty of room, but even with 8 there would be sufficient room. It has its own private garden area although in October it was a bit too cold to take advantage of this! The acid test for any holiday is “would you go back?”, and we certainly would.

A superb venue for a family celebration with a very welcoming host.
Our stay was to meet up with family and friends to celebrate our Golden Wedding and this proved to be the perfect venue. Shortly after we arrived the owner, Ted, called around to make sure we were comfortable and readily agreed that we could charge our car - he is thinking about having dedicated facilities installed over the winter period. On arrival there was the most bountiful welcome hamper that we have ever experienced. I won't list the many items as I wouldn't wish to spoil the surprise for future visitors. There was no shortage of crookery, glassware or cutlery and there was plenty of provision of cookware, etc. Copious towels/bath sheets provided for our use and effective showers. Ted also supplied toiletries. Our four cars didn't stretch the allocated parking. A most enjoyable stay for our special occasion.
