Mink Creek Chugiak 2br Apartment, Chugiak, Alaska
15 miles north of Anchorage our property is 4 acres of woodlands with a view of the mountains and frequent visits from Alaska wildlife. We live within 5 miles of 7 different public access lakes & are between Anchorage & the Matanuska Susitna Valley.
There is additional off street parking for a boat and/or RV.
The space
The one good thing about Anchorage is you only have to drive 15 minutes to visit Alaska. Our property is in Alaska. We are not in a large city but in a rural area near Anchorage. It is a quite safe and private area 4 acre property with wonderful neighbors and numerous Alaskan adventures close by.
We have friends and neighbors who are dog mushers and several of them have raced in the Iditarod dog sled race. There are seven public lakes within 5 miles of our home, dog mushing trails, fishing, hiking, and canoeing opportunities close by. We will gladly point you in the right direction for fishing opportunities or even lend you one of our canoes. We love Alaska and the spectacular views and opportunities it offers.
We are within an hour’s drive to several glaciers, old gold mines, historic Alaska sites and numerous other adventures within minutes of our door. It’s a short 20 minute drive from our house to downtown Anchorage and we are within 30 minutes of the Anchorage International Airport.

You have an entire apartment available to you with a separate driveway and entrance from the other 2 units.
Other things to note
Although we have been landlords for a long time this is our first time being Air B & B owners. We really want you to enjoy our place and have a wonderful visit. Please remember this place is part of our home and not a hotel.

Both dogs and kids like me. (unfortunately cats also like me) Grandfather of 1 and Father to 3. Right Winger who is blessed with many friends & family members with views & life styles very contrary to his own whom he loves dearly and gets along with. Warped sense of humor that is very 'G' rated and the type of person who can't understand why anyone would live in anyplace but Alaska.
