The property was very private, clean, quiet and central to everything. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. The view from the condo was incredible. Would definitely stay here again.

Communication was great. The unit was in a nice location and as described in the listing. Ocean views!Steps to the pool, hot tub and free access for shuffle board and putting green. The condo was exactly like the pictures showed, and most importantly the view of the bay was gorgeous from the room and from the balcony. It was a short walk to the beach with gorgeous sunsets and long sandy stretches for walking. The condo is centrally located on the island and only 15-20 minutes from the airport and from Costco. The condo had everything we needed, two televisions, beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella, paper supplies, soaps, garbage bags, and all the utensils, plates, and cooking supplies. The grills out front were cleaned each day and were very popular. The pool and hot tub area was nicely maintained. There are washers and dryers which utilize an app - this was super nice since we didn’t have to find quarters all the time.Front desk staff were great - kind and helpful!We would most definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

Wonderful location to rest and experience Maui. Could stay within 3 miles or drive an hour 2, either way you’d have something new to try almost daily. Food and a calm area where I could snorkel or hike was what I was going for and this spot was perfect for all. Home is clean, bright, and the perfect size for a couple.

Great Stay in Maui!

The communication with the property manager and the check-in process was very easy. The location of the condo is awesome. It is a short walk to the ocean with great views of the bay and the sunsets! The walk to the food truck court near by is well worth the walk! Great coffee and great food.

Awesome condo at great location

We love the clean look of this condo and it’s large enough for couples. The bacony has an amazing view and it’s easy to get around the area. There is enough parking space and the grounds and bbq area are very well maintained. Everything looks very clean and organized.

Great Location

Very centrally located to all parts of the island. The beach isn’t very usable but it makes for a pretty sunset and you can easily drive a few miles down the road to many beautiful snorkeling beaches. Condo was very clean and everything worked great.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at this apartment. It was next to the beach with a fantastic view. The furnishing was very modern and things like snorkel equipment and boogie boards were provided. We also appreciated the ease of checking in and out of the apartment. Overall highly recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful Property

I took my parents to Maui for the first time, and this condo was exactly what we needed. It gave us a place to rest and enjoy the gorgeous view after a busy day of exploring the island of Maui. I would highly recommend this condo if you are needing a place to stay for a small group. The view was amazing!

The view from this unit is absolutely stunning — the kind of Maui magic you never get tired of waking up to! The condo had everything we needed to get started and was beautifully furnished - it felt so welcoming and relaxing.And the bed… wow! So comfy! I may have lost my husband in it a few times (it’s huge), but we both agreed it was comfort to the max — and that never happens!Communication with the host was a breeze — clear, friendly, and responsive. The keyless entry was so convenient, and the location near the elevator makes it ideal for anyone with mobility concerns.All in all, this was our second stay at Kauhale Makai, and once again, it did not disappoint. Cute condo with great views

My husband and I had a great time on our vacation! The condo was the perfect size for us. Clean and organized. It had everything we needed for a beach day (chairs, umbrella, cooler). Easy check in and check out process. Quiet area, centrally located.

We have a collective 30 years of experience specializing in personalized professional vacation rental property management in the South Maui area (Kihei & Wailea). We keep the number of condos that we manage to approximately 20 units per property manager. This ensures that we can give focused attention and personal service to our guests.
