Adjoining the charming manor house they occupy (which once counted the illustrious French poet and politician Alphonse de Lamartine among its guests), the property is steeped in history and includes the family vineyard, "Château Bonnet," which has been cultivated for centuries (and is now run by their children using organic viticulture practices). The vineyards produce various Beaujolais crus, including the renowned Saint-Amour and Moulin-à-Vent.
