Looking for a quaint "The Little Easy" with Caribbean comfort? PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING. IF YOU BOOK WITHIN THE 60 DAYS YOU ARE BOUND TO THE BOOKING. If this is a concern we recommend Travel Insurance.

Welcome to your dream destination where views and amenities abound! This cottage is perfect for two and will accommodate up to four adults with guest 3 and 4 in the loft queen bed. The Little Easy is 100% yours for the entire stay and not attached to another house. All Children or young adults must be 12 years old or older, no exceptions! The second Bedroom requires going up a ships ladder to access the loft bedroom. This bedroom is two levels from the Master bedroom and only accessed outside if trying to get to the master bedroom from the loft level!
A full kitchen can accommodate everything from gourmet creations to simple, yet elegant. The upper deck provides a casual seating area coupled with "al fresco" dining for four while the lower sun deck is just outside the Master bedroom; both providing a scenic view of the sailboats coming to harbor in Coral Bay. The Master bedroom (Queen Bed only, VRBO can't seem to fix the verbiage saying King) is separate from the living area downstairs. There is Air Conditioning in the Master Bedroom. The provisional beach chairs and floats are yours to enjoy as you explore this beautiful island. Most beaches are a short 10-15 minute drive where as most restaurants, bars, and a grocery stores are a short 3 to 5 min drive.

You need to rent a Jeep or 4x4 like for you trip. Taxi's are few are far between and very expensive.. You can Google "car rental St. John USVI". We recommend Courtesy car rental, they have a web site.
If your booking is less that 60 Days out you should reserve a Jeep before booking the Cottage as you may be left walking if you do not! The Island only has so many Jeeps!

Laundry room is only available for stays of 10 nights or more, no exceptions.

The Sunrise is a must see

The view over Coral Bay is incredible. It’s worth getting up each morning in time to see the sunrise from the top deck. The Little Easy had everything we needed for our trip. If you choose to cook your own meals; the kitchen is well equipped and the grill on the lower deck looked practically new. We had a great time and plan on returning!

This was our fourth trip to St. John , and the TLE was our favorite rental. Communication was great. The property was clean. The views were spectacular. The kitchen had everyone we needed. My favorite thing about the property was the shower and sitting on the top deck enjoying a coffee in the morning and a corona in the evening. Thanks for making this a wonderful trip.

Paradise Perch Over Coral Bay

This was our second visit to the Little Easy, and I'm sure won't be our last. It's a comfortable, homey, conveniently outfitted place with everything you could need for a stay on St. John, including plenty of cooking/kitchen gadgets, extra sunscreen and bug spray, and lots of snorkel/beach equipment. The views of Coral Bay are just breathtaking, and the location allows for easy access to the south and east end beaches, and to the restaurants and shops just at the bottom of the hill. Property managers were helpful and responsive. A great value!

Just Perfect!!

My husband and I just spent a wonderful week in "The Little Easy". The house is exactly what we hoped for, beautiful view, cooling breezes all the time, great location and comfortable, pretty cottage. When we had a need, David was right there. We will remember the amazing views from the porch, sunrises, coming and going of boats, clouds of every configuration, a huge rainbow, moon and stars galore...so beautiful!!! We will be going back!!

Wonderful

This is the first time we have stayed in Coral Bay and it was exceptional. Everything in the house was awesome. We were close to the restaurants and markets and didn't have to fight for parking like you do in Cruz Bay. The house was clean and the decor was so cute, but the view, was amazing. My only thought, was if the loft area had an air conditioner, we would definitely stay again with another adult couple. This time we just had my son, so we stuck him up there - it was a little warm.

Jenn, you are so correct about Coral Bay, nice and peaceful for travelers that want to unwind and take all the beauty in yet close to restaurants and stores. As for the upstairs loft. We have gone back and forth about A/C and at this time we have not added a loft A/C. We try to keep TLE affordable to all and if we added a unit to the loft we would have to raise the prices as electricity is 5 times the cost of the States. Also, 90% of our guests are typically two people. We can always provide a extra fan if needed. Some people use the fan in the living room as the 2nd for upstairs. Thank you again for choosing TLE and we hope to see you all again at some point.

Beautiful View

The owner, Dave gave us details instructions through email and text what to expect. Katherine, a worker met us at a location and took us to place and show us around. Recommended us where to eat and shop for groceries. The view at sunrise was amazing and breeze was relaxing while sitting on the top deck reading a book. We had a lizard friend that would visit us on the deck.

Great getaway spot!

My boyfriend and I had a great time at the Little Easy! It was our first time on St. John and we will definitely return. The check-in process and communication was AMAZING. We had crazy flight delays and difficulty finding a rental car; they helped us through all of those steps and went above and beyond in assisting us and making sure our travel to the house was smooth! The house has everything you need to be comfortable - kitchen supplies, beach gear (chairs, towels), and AC in the bedroom was a huge plus! The only issue we had was with the cleanliness. The bathroom towels were stained and the bedroom was dusty and some of the kitchen appliances were not clean. But we asked for new towels and it was no problem. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

We are so happy you two had a great time and look forward to returning. As for the towels, when you requested more towels we had not idea there were light spots. Towels are challenging with white as Bleach cannot be used. (SEPTIC) We have changed our towel color and are now charging for stained towels. We provide a extra set of clean, lightly stained towels for use on staining products, like self tanners and the new reef safe sunscreens. AS for the appliances it would have been nice to hear about that also. We take great price in offering a clean Cottage for each guests. With Covid it has been challenging at times trying to find people that want to work/clean. As for dusty bedroom that is a ongoing challenge, google Saharan dust out of Africa. This has been the worst season on record for dust. One can clean a house and in the matter of 1 day you will find small amounts of dust. The wind blows constantly at The Little Easy which is great but also some dust comes with that. Lastly people if you are reading this you must book your rental Jeep the same time you book your Villa/Cottage. This is the planning thing to do so you are guaranteed a Vehicle. The view

Fabulous view from the porch for morning coffee or dinner or just watching the harbor. House is a nice size, spotless and has everything you need - all your beach stuff, well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture and brand new bathroom. We did walk to local restaurants and market which was a nice plus - it is a steep climb back up. (Lots of hills and switch backs on St John) It’s a great location on the quieter side of the Island but easy enough to get to the best snorkeling beaches. Property manager is fast to respond and very helpful. The extra loft bed is nice but just a ladder to get up so not suitable for some. . My only suggestion is a better fan or room ac in the bedroom - the upstairs living area gets a wonderful breeze day and night so we were always comfortable but the bedroom needed just a bit more cross breeze or more powerful fan for warmer evenings I would definitely recommend

Easy living at The Little Easy

My husband and I spent six nights here. The views from both decks are absolutely amazing and offer cooling breezes . The kitchen was well equipped, and made breakfast and lunch very easy. We did not take advantage of the gas grill on the small deck in the back because we chose to eat out for our main meal. One of the restaurants we would suggest you try is called Rhumelines. it was a little pricey, but the meals were delicious and well worth it. One day we rented a 12 foot zodiac with a 25 hp in Cruz Bay & were able to get to some beaches that you would not get to using a car. we snorkeled add a few beaches and saw several types of colorful fishes in coral and two large turtles. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but our place had a great supply of snorkel gear as well as beach chairs & umbrellas. We will never forget the gorgeous aqua and deep blue colors of the water. I slept in the bedroom above the main living area. I am 4‘11“ tall and I had to be very careful two hunch over to avoid bumping my head on the lower part of the ceiling. Overall, though we could not have been any happier with the location of this special place.

Amazing house! Amazing stay! Amazing location!

The Little Easy is so lovely I almost hate to review it and let others know how wonderful this gem is! The communication was great from the time we booked to when we arrived. The property manager, Jeremy, met us because it was dark and helped lead us to the house. He was so nice and super helpful! The house was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! It was clean and looked newly updated. There was a perfect number of towels (bath and beach) since we did not have a washer to last the 5 days we were there. The house also had everything you could possibly want (blender, crockpot, pots, pans, etc, more than my own home!). No air conditioning in the upstairs was totally fine. We stayed cool by opening the doors and windows, which we actually prefer in St. John. The new grill was also great. We used it for a few nights since we cooked about 50% of the time. Although there is no need to cook if you don't want to, there are restaurants a short drive down the hill. Literally, the driveway is right next to the grocery store and Coral Bay shops. The best part...the covered deck! I cannot say enough about the beautiful view! Some nights (and days), we just sat and relaxed on the comfy furniture and had every meal outside at the dining table! Great location and views at TLE!

We had an awesome stay at The Little Easy! Dave is a fantastic host, who had great recommendations (Hansen’s beach was one of our favorites during our stay!) and was quick to help with any issues. The view from the deck is incredible, and the location is great (just up the hill from a market and a few restaurants). We loved staying in Coral Bay and found it quaint and quiet, with great restaurants and easy access to many hikes and beaches. The kitchen is well stocked, as are beach supplies (chairs, coolers, etc.). Internet was fast upstairs and good for video calls. The Little Easy is one of the better values in the area, but there were a few hiccups I’ll mention for future travelers. The second loft bedroom wasn’t set up or cleaned when we got there. Dave offered to change the sheets when he realized, but it wasn’t a huge deal for us since we’re 2 close friends. In the future I might make it clear if you want to use both rooms before coming. We didn’t realize that the two floors only connect with an outdoor staircase, which isn’t a huge deal but could be troublesome for some. There’s some critters I think is the case everywhere on the island, but the cleaning staff clearly puts a lot of care into exterminating and keeping things clean. As others have mentioned, the driveway is steep but manageable. But steep and winding roads is par for the course on St. John :) We can’t wait to come back to St. John and would definitely consider staying at TLE again because of the great location, views, and value!

I leaned this first hand when I moved down. So sorry for the upstairs bedroom not being made up. We never make it up for only two guests unless requested to sleep in separate beds for only two guests. I will start asking all guests moving forward though, thanks. Wonderful two weeks at Coral Bay

Our family stayed two weeks at "The Little Easy" in July 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, our family was looking for a nice and quiet place to stay, away from all the craziness. I have to say, both the property and our host Dave redefined our expectations. Our trip started not so great after our car rental (Avis) at the airport told us they had no car for us, even though we had booked a reservation two weeks in advance. Go figure. We were unsure about what to do when our host Dave helped us to get a last minute jeep rental on St John. It was all smooth sailing from there. The property is located at a very convenient location in Coral Bay, there is a grocery store at walking distance and you have easy access to the road leading to the beaches on the north side of the island. There are also a few restaurants and bars but unfortunately most of them were closed due to the pandemic. With that said, the property itself is gorgeous. It's a beautiful blue little house overlooking the bay that receives a perfect warm breeze 24 hours. The view is fantastic, especially in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need if you are like us and like to cook. The bathroom downstairs seems to have been newly renovated and you can take a great shower with a warm breeze coming through the windows if you want to. The house receives lots of light during the day while at the same time having an awesome place where you can sit in the shade and watch the incredible view of Coral Bay. We had a great time over there and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Dave for all the help and awesome tips and making our stay so much better!
